Peter was born in Saskatoon on February 22, 1955. He attended school at Thornton, Alvin Buckwold and Walter Murray Collegiate.

Over the course of his working career he was an employee of Hanna's Yamaha Music, Reliance Lumber, Robertson Rentals, Royal University Hospital, Mush's Trucking, and helped out on the family farm when possible. From 1986 to 2006 Peter was a loyal and dedicated employee of Westfair Foods. In February 2006 he worked with Hillcrest Memorial and North Shore Ventures. Peter was predeceased by his parents Pieternella (2001) and Klaas Boersma (2005), sister Maria Gammel (2006), mother-in-law Winnie Robertson (1986), a brother-in-law Leslie Robertson (1999), and Reginald and best friend Susan Robertson, daughters Robertson 1 (2006). He is survived by his wife Danielle Robertson-Boersma, Alexandria Robertson-Boersma; sisters Liz (Ed) Van Doornum, Thea (Gordon) De Vries, Carol (Howard) Huckabay; brothers John (Faye) Boersma, Theo (Shelly) Boersma; brother-inlaw Albert (Cec) Robertson, sister-in-law Linda (Les) Robertson, many wonderful nieces, nephews, great nieces and great will nephews be and deeply relations in missed the Netherlands.

Cremation took place prior to the service. Paul's Hospital, Joyce Summach quietly passed to join her husband in their Lord's presence. Joyce will be missed and remembered by children and their families: Kim and Marian; Ryan, Allison, Dale: Monty and Moira; Taylor, Lydia, lan, Stephanie: Kirk Connie; Jared (Alicia); Alexander: Dave (Kilborn) and Sandra; Mary, Michael: Danny: Janice: Kyle. Also survived by sisters Anne (Ward) Green, Betty (Bev) Bentley, Cora (Daryl) Olstad and brother Leonard (Jean) Rutledge; and numerous inlaws, nieces, nephews and other relatives. SEREDA The passing of Mike Sereda, age Deaths 1000 Hans Holtkamp MOURNING GLORY FUNERAL SERVICES (978-5200). passed away at City Hospital on a Saturday, FRANKLIN Margaret Luella, age 84, January 6th, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Bailey of Saskatoon; son, Ken Franklin of Vancouver; grandchildren, Tracy (Ryan) Krebs, Ryan Bailey and great granddaughter, Jayda. Margaret was predeceased by her husband. Leslie.

Cremation arrangements in care of WIEGERS Alphonse (Al) of Saskatoon; With profound regret the family announces the passing of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Al passed away on January 5, 2007 at Saskatoon City Hospital. He was born February 11, 1923 near Marysburg, SK.

Al is survived by his loving family; wife, Hilda; three daughters, Kathryn (Chris White) Edmonton, Alisa of Los Angeles, Miriam (Peter Zambito) of Toronto; two sons, Mark of Los Angeles, Lane (Maria) of Regina; four grandchildren, Lauren Joel White, Christina and Evan Wiegers; two sisters, Clara (Joe) Loehner, Porterville, California, Sr. Mary Wiegers, Lima, Peru; four brothers, Henry (Agnes), Vincent Syl (Frieda), all of Saskatoon, Leo (Teresa) of North Battleford and sister in-law, Lucy Wiegers of Prince Albert. Al is predeceased by his parents, Bernard Josephine Wiegers, brothers Ted, (Liz), Joseph (Ella); sister Aurelia (T.E. McConnell); and sister-in-law, Ruth Wiegers. Al's early work years involved various pursuits, including logging, mining, and employment as a recreation instructor and sports coach at St.

Michael's College in Duck Lake. In the 1950's, he married and then worked in sales in Humboldt, where he was a founding member of the Humboldt Jaycees and the Humboldt Credit Union. He was President of the Humboldt and District Hockey Club, Baseball Club, and the Platzer Cup Tournament. He coached both hockey and ball teams. Al and Hilda moved to Watson in 1961, where they operated a business until 1992.

Throughout his life, Al was devoted to community service and civic affairs, and served as town councillor for eight years, and as from 1979 to 1985. He is an honourary member of the Knights of Columbus, a charter member of the Watson Lions Club, and a corporate member of Quill Plains Centennial Lodge. He was a gentle, kind, loving man, and will be deeply missed. Prayers will be held Monday, January 8, 2007 at 7 p.m. and a Funeral Mass on Tuesday January 9 at 1:30 p.m.

Both will take place at Holy Spirit Parish, 114 Kingsmere Place, Saskatoon. Cremation has taken place. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the Saskatchewan Lung Association or a charity of your choice. Arrangements in care of Cherished Memories Crematory (242-7888) Jack passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Royal University Hospital at the age of 93.

He was born on the family farm in Wingello School District. Jack was a resident of Saskatoon for the past 35 years. Jack is survived wife Joyce of 53 years, 5 children, many, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and sister Urilla Hemmingway. Jack and Joyce were foster parents and grandparents to many. Jack is predeceased by his parents John and Irene, siblings Russel, Bob, Betty, and Hazel.

Also son in law Dean Miller and twin grandsons, Johnathan and Joseph Ruetz. Jack was a hard working farmer, who enjoyed outdoor activities, family gatherings, a good game of cards and desserts. If something needed to be fixed, he was the man to call; he was the Jack of all trades. A service of remembrance will be held at the Prairie View Chapel and Crematorium on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. A reception to follow.

LEAVE A LEGACY SASKATOON The death of Dagny Johnston, age 94 years occurred in a city hospital on Friday, January 5,2007. She is survived by daughter Shirley (Tom) Halstead and her granddaughter Cheryl (Ken) Grummett; step grandchildren George Halstead, Bonnie (Barry) Robson and Tim (Sherry) Halstead, one sister Verna Mcneal.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Willard in 1992. Dagny was born on September 6, 1912 and grew up in the farming community of Outlook. She and Willard eloped on June 26, 1933 and moved to Hanley and then to Saskatoon. The last years of her life Dagny spent living with her granddaughter Cheryl and Ken in Martensville getting all the TLC they could give. Dagny led an active and fulfilling life, centered on her family and friends.

She was a proud and loving mother and grandmother and good friend to many. She loved to curl and was so proud of beating the men's teams and the trips to Saskatoon Bonspiels with her Hanley teams and their In her later years she was always eager to play a game of shuffleboard and enjoyed her card games and crypto puzzles. Dagny will be deeply missed eternally remembered by all who knew and loved her. It was Dagny's request that there be no funeral service held. Arrangements are entrusted to Saskatoon Funeral Home.
