She passed away on the 31st day of August, 2008 at Lloydmlnster, AB where she hadllved for the past six years after relocating from Saskatoon.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Raymond In 1973; her sons, Don In 1996 and Jim In 2000; grandson, Brendon; and brothers, Jim George and John Braithwaite. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Dorothy (Dwayne Smith) of Peachland, BC and Judy (Chris Sarsons) of Uoydmlnster, AB; daughter-in-law, Kathy Seaman of Calgary, AB; and nine grandchildren, Erin (Ian Walsh), Bekki, Brodie, Daly, Christie, Tyler, Paul, Heather, and Jim. She also leaves numerous nephews and nieces and sister-in-law, Bert Braithwaite of Landls, SK. Nancy was born at Traynor, SK In 1915 to parents, Jim and Helen Braithwaite graduating as a registered nurse from St. Paul's Hospital In Saskatoon in 1939 working In Maidstone, North Battleford and Wilkie before settling In Wilkie where she married Ray Seaman In 1946.

They had their four children in Wilkie before moving to Saskatoon In 1954. Nancy was very active In Bethel United Church and all of the schools her children attended. She developed many friendships during her 50 plus years In Saskatoon and many of those friends stayed In touch after she moved to Lloydmlnster. She spent many of her summers at the cabin at Jackflsh Lake, one of her favorite places to share with family and friends. Nancy will be remembered as a caring and loving individual who gave completely of herself to her family and friends.

Langley BA, FJEd.MEd, PhD Gerald James Langley February 4th 1 91 3 August 1 3th 2008 It Is with sadness the family of Gerald (Gerry) Langley announces his peaceful passing on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at his residence In Saskatoon, Left to mourn his death are his niece, Audrey (Gordon) Simpson and their family Scot and Nicole, Connor, Rebecca Simpson; Yvonne and Cecil Mills and son Nathan, all of Edmonton, AB; niece, Shirley McGuire of Kelowna, BC and her family Shelly Bernard (McGuire) and Darren Mason of Victoria BC, Michael McGuire and Michelle Martin, daughters Megan and Sarah McGuire and Kayla and Adam Martin of Westbank, BC; niece, Doreen Emmerson of Saskatoon and her family Terry and Jennifer and son Sean Emmerson of Edmonton, AB, Shelley and Guy Thompson of Parkslde SK and their family Erin and best friend Jon of Saskatoon, Dion of Lethbridge, AB, Greg and Esther Emmerson, daughters Karalee of Prince Albert, SK and Cristln of Saskatoon, Randy and Angela Emmerson and their daughters Kylle, Dalyce and Mackenzie of Prince Albert; nephew, Bill (Sandle) Wood of Kailua, Hawaii, USA and their son Patrick of Victoria, BC; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen and Padre Sid Home of Trenton, ON and their family, nephew Gordon (Darlene) Home of Trenton, ON and their family Tesha and Ron Sampson, Desmond, Tanner and Kyra of Stirling, Glen Home of Oshawa, ON; and niece. Ash Campbell and her family Courtney, Caleigh and Mackenzie of Belleville, ON. Gerry was predeceased by his wife, Marjory on March 5th 1998; his parents, James and Elizabeth Langley; sister, Edith and brother-in-law, Oscar Emmerson; nephew, Gerald Emmerson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mona and Leighton (Woody) Wood.

One of Uncle Gerry's favorite sayings was "I never had children, but I sure have Born in Winnipeg, Gerry's family relocated to Regina, SK where he was raised. As a boy he delivered the Leader Post paper at a time when there was both a morning and evening edition, Gerry attended Connaught Public School and Central Collegiate, followed by Regina Normal School and the University of Saskatchewan. Gerry married Marjory Lois Wood on November 1 8th 1 939. They spent a full year along with several summers In New York where he earned his Doctorate In Philosophy from Columbia University. Gerry enjoyed sports, playing hockey in his younger years and while attending the University of Saskatchewan he played on the of Rugby Team from 1936 to 1939 winning the Western Canadian Intercollegiate Championship In 1936-37 season.

He was a loyal supporter of the Husky Football Team and he attended their games whenever possible. Gerry's teaching career took him to many locations In the province Including rural schools In Sproule and Herbert as well as Balfour Technical Institute in Regina and the College of Education at the University of Saskatchewan from 1947 to 1980. Gerry was very active in the Saskatoon community as a member of the Saskatoon Kinsmen Club, the Rotary Club of Saskatoon, the Jubilee Investment Club, K-40 Club, member of the Co-op Board of Directors, and of Faculty Club member. The celebrity concert series held for many years saw after concert parties at the Langley's with their walls covered with autographed photos from the many stars performing In Saskatoon. He loved to volunteer whenever and wherever his services were needed.

He and Marjory loved to travel and some of their tours Included England, Scotland, Ireland and France as well as over 25 winters In Hawaii. Gerry enjoyed curling and golfing and was a long time member of the Saskatoon Golf and Country Club. An avid reader, he enjoyed cross word puzzles and all will remember his talent of composing songs and poems for special occasions for family, friends and his many associations. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m, at Saskatoon Funeral Home (4th Ave. and 25th St.) followed by a reception at the W.A.Edwards Family Centre.

The Interment service will take place prior to the funeral at 1 :00 p.m, at Woodlawn Cemetery. Those wishing to also attend the Interment service are asked to meet at the cemetery gates on Memorial Drive at 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Cathie (John) and Wendy; her grandchildren, Renae and Nicole (Travis); her sister and brother-in-law.

Marge and Merl Johnson; and many nieces and She was predeceased by her husband; Harold In 1984; her parents, Nellie and Alfred; her sisters, Betty and Blanche; and her brothers-in-law, Jim and Willie. Mom was born on September 20, 1927 on a farm near Eastend, Saskatchewan, Mom and Dad met while they were both working at the Moose Jaw School Unit and were married on June 15, 1 953. In 1 955, they moved to North Battleford, where Mom worked for the government, before leaving to become a full-time mother. In 1966, Dad was transferred to Camrose, Alberta, where we spent seven years, before returning to Saskatoon In 1973. Mom was a dedicated, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Her greatest love and joy In life was her family, to whom she was deeply devoted. A celebration of Gertrude's life will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Saskatoon Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all of the wonderful and dedicated staff at Oliver Lodge and to Dr.

Bailey for the many years they spent caring for Mom. Kathleen "Kay" Florence McNulty (nee Surbey) Kay passed away peacefully Monday, September 1st, 2008 In St. Paul's Hospital at the age of 87 years. Kathleen was born February 19th, 1921. She spent her early years In Factorla and the Gideon district where she met Harold They were married September 20th, 1941, She spent the last seven years living In Arbor Green where she made many friends and enjoyed the social gatherings of that community, She was a long-standing member of the C.W.L. Her greatest Joy In life was her family and friends.

Kay Is survived by three daughters, Elaine (Dennis) Zerr of Saskatoon, Kathy (Gary) Kirton of Calgary, and Jeannette of Saskatoon; one son. Jack (Vol) of Delisle, Kay had thirteen grandchildren: Brad (Wendy), Phil (Cecilia), Keith (Dee-Anna), Connie fDan) Vredegoor, Wendy, Debbie, Vlnce (Shana), Tammy (David) Short, Ryan, Charlotte (Dwayne) Jackson, Clint, April (Vlnce) Traynor, and Clark; as well as twenty-two great-grandchildren, Also surviving her are two brothers, Alfred of Montreal and Pat (Dolores) of Saskatoon; and one sister-in-law, lone of MacDowall. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold (1993); sister, Leona; brothers, Vincent, Philip and Daniel. The Vigil for Kay will be held on Friday, September 5th at 7:00 p.m., and the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.

Father Ken Beck as celebrant; both services at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, 1202 Avenue LAURSEN Ole passed away peacefully August 29, 2008 at St. Paul's Hospital from lung cancer. According to his wishes, there will not be a funeral. He was cremated Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

He Is survived by his wife, Dagmar; and daughter, Madelalne (Neil); son, Roger; grandchildren, Mark (Kim) and Hunter and Deah, Monica (David), Michael, Christopher. He was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be deeply missed, MCCONNELL Marie. It Is with sadness the family of Marie McConnell announces her passing on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at St. Paul's Hospital.
