306-682-2122. LAMB Dennis Robin (Bob) Lamb, after a lengthy illness, passed away at New Market Manor, Tisdale, SK, June 25, 1996 at the age of 82 years. Bob was born by the Moose Lake IN-dian Reservation at Moose Lake, MB, February 10, 1914 to T.H.P. and Caroline Lamb. In 1925, Bob and his family moved from Moose Lake to Winnipeg, MB and two years later moved to Tisdale, SK where Bob completed his education.

In 1934 he and his brother, Bert purchased Lamb Hardware from their father, They operated it for 35 years. Bob was an ardent supporter of the Town of Tisdale, serving as town councillor for four years and as mayor for two ('51 and '52). he was president of the Curling Club, the Golf Club, the Lions Club, and the Chamber of Commerce. He was past master of the Tisdale Masonic Lodge 76 and past patron of the Order of the Eastern Star. Bob was a prime instigator in the establishment of the Senior Citizens Association, the building ot the Senior Citizens Hall and in the development of the Tisdale Airport.

He served on the building committee for St. Matthew's Anglican Church, and was an active member supporting the Hudson Bay Route Association. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Hazel; son, Robin and grandsons, Joshua and Thomas of Richmond, BC; daughter, Susan (Hugh Barker) and grandchildren, Steven and Emma of Vancouver; daughter, Marsha (Stuart Hooper); and grandson, Tony of Woom-bye, Australia: two brothers, Bert (Mildred), Donald (Rhena); and four sisters. Dorothy, Hilda, Billie. Carol (Gordon); and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 28 at St. Matthew's Anglican Church at 2:00 p.m. If desired, a donation may be made to New Market Manor, Tisdale In Bob's name. Alex was predeceased by his beloved wife, Esther in 1990. He is survived by daughters, Faye Han-cherow (Bob), Kamloops. BC. Elaine Moulton (Don), Alix, Alberta, Lucille Evans (David), Smiley; and a son. Grant, Flaxcombe.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Funeral Services were held from St. Paul's United Church in Kinderstey on June 24, 1 996 with Bill Thomson officiating. MACPHERSON Viola. Lovingly cared for by her daughter. Sandra through her lengthy illness, Viola passed away at the Oshawa General Hospital on Tuesday, June 25, 1996 in her 68th year. Beloved wife of the late James W. MacPherson, Loving father of Garry, his wife, Vikki, and their son, Logan (of Pickering): Sandra and her son, Cody (of Pickering); Darrell and Veronica (of Scarborough); Lori Fairser-vice; her husband, Bill and their son, Chad (of Pickering); dear sister of Esther, Ted and his wife, Joy, Art and his wife.

LERAY Jeanne Leray (nee LeBorgne) died peacefully in the early morning of June 25, 1996 at Chateau Providence in Saint Bneux at the age of 92 years. Born in Plourin, Brittany, France on March 23, 1904. Predeceased by her husband, Emile (1977); two daughters, Marguerite (1928) and Simone Guillet (1989); one son Lucien (1982). She is lovingly remembered by her sons and their families, Jean (Louise) Leray, Paul (Lilianne) Leray: son-in-law, Louis Guillet; daughter-in-law, Stella Leray and sister, Clementine Roenspies; 24 grandchilden; 55 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Dick leaves to mourn his son Roman (Eugenia) Zipchen of Hafford, SK; two daughters, Patricia Zipchen of Saskatoon and Mrs. Lucille (Darrell) Shalley of Edmonton, AB; five grandchildren, Richard (Darcie) Zipchen and Patrick Zipchen of Hafford, SK, Matthew Zipchen of Victoria, BC.

Zypchen. Dmytro was born August 10. 1905 in Horodenka in Western Ukraine. He came to Canada in 1906 with his parents, sisters and brother. Dora, William and Polly.

They settled on the homestead 3'2 miles south of Hafford. The homestead which he farmed, has been in the family for four generations. Dick's formal education was completion of grade 7 in a one room rural school names He also took courses in Mechanical Engineering and Weed Control at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Many years of his life were dedicated and devoted to community and political service. As a young man, he was a Secretary-Treasurer of Nauka School. Then he was a weed inspector for the Rural Municipality of Redberry.

In 1932, he operated an implement business for fifteen years with the Cockshutt Plow Company. He was also an Auctioneer. In 1936, he served on the Hafford Town Council and he was a Reeve for eight years for the Rural Municipality of Redberry. He was one of the first members to organize the Co-op Implements Ltd. For many years, he was on the Board of Directors with the Hafford Co-op Association and the Hafford Credit Union, which he helped form.

In 1946, he was the chairman ot the first Board of the Hafford Union Hospital. This board introduced its own hospitalization scheme one In Memoriam 1004 THUNDERCHILD Gordon Joseph passed away peacefully on June 25, 1996 at the age of 58. He was born on April 2, 1938 to Ada NUGENT )929 -1993. In loving memory of dear daughter MurriteelVufh Louise. Up to 3'2 weeks prior to his death, Dick lived alone in his own home, mowed his lawn and planted his garden. Gus Ulrich; her daughter, Dartene Geddes of Port Alberni, BC; one son, Daryl (Betty) Dittmer of Dundurn, SK; Ethel's grandchildren, Shane Churchill and Dana Churchill, both of Vancouver Island, Angela (Kevin) Lin-deman of Calgary, Dean Dittmer of Saskatoon; and one brother, Russell (Doris) Wiley of Saskatoon. Ethel was predeceased by her father, Archie Wiley in 1954; mother, Mildred (Denney) Wiley in 1953; a brother, Forest Wiley in 1933; her first husband, Reuben Dittmer in 1984; and second husband, Lloyd Thurston in 1990, Ethel was born May 13, 1914 in the Onward School district near Bradwell, SK. She attended Onward School and participated in area community clubs. Ethel enjoyed going to dances and to Bradwell Saturday nights to shop. Ethel married Reuben Dittmer on December 14, 1932.

She was an active member of the Coates Homemaker Club and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing for her grandchildren and cooking delicious meals for family and friends. Reuben became ill in 1978 and Ethel took care of him until it became too difficult. Reuben passed away February 27, 1984. She lived in the City of Saskatoon, met and married Gus Ulrich on July 1 5, 1993. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday.

In 1937 she married Thomas George Sweet of Asquith and together they raised their family of four children in the Asquith and Park districts before making their home in Saskatoon in 1953. Olive was predeceased by her husband, Tom in 1984; daughter, Gloria Shier in 1991; sister, Esther Casley in 1978; her brother, Ralph Johnson in 1991; and her brothers and sister-in-law. Aquila (Cy) Sweet, Bruce Baldwin, Alvin Casley and Mary Stockley.

She is survived by her daughters, Margaret (Bruce) Griffiths and Dorothy (Robin) Hewson; her son.
