She was a talented cook. She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, bowling, playing cards, and listening to old time dance music. She was a faithful Christian, very devoted to her family who will miss her greatly. Interment will take place In Woodlawn Cemetery.

Surviving are his loving family: his children; Carl Bruesch of Bruno, SK, Rose (Vic) Bonin of Calgary, AB, Ted Bruesch, Ronald (Janis) Bruesch all of Bruno, SK, Trudy Bruesch and Geri Bruesch both of Saskatoon; his grandchildren; Byron, Erin and Shaun Bruesch, David and Janet Bonin; his special cat, Jasper; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Fred was predeceased by his wife Christine; his parents, August and Gertrud; his sister. Ellen, ana two brothers, lea ana Kurt. Fred PRYMA Harry fell asleep in the arms of the Lord he loved on Monday, September 22, was born and raised in the Bruno District, and attended the Bruno District School. After the death of his parents at an early age, he was 2003. He was born June 1, 1930 In Yellow Creek, SK and attended school there until he left home at a young age to begin working.

A man of numerous talents, Harry was self-taught raised by Rose and William Gutthardt of Bruno. He married Christine Blum on June 23rd, 1945 at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Saskatoon. Fred farmed his entire life In the it I in many areas including mechanics, construction and farming, Harry was an avid reader, particularly interested in Canadian history. 1 I a li WHALEN It is with great sadness that the JOHNSON -Lyle Richard 1914-2003 Lyle Richard Johnson, beloved husband of the late Violet Johnson (nee Payne) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2003 at the age of 89 years. Lyle was born on July 20, 1914 in Clarkfield, Minnesota.

He grew up In Domremy, SK and over the years lived In Outlook, SK, Moose Jaw, SK, Winnipeg, MB, finally retiring In Calgary, AB. Lyle earned a Chemical Engineering Degree at the University of Saskatchewan and worked for many years as a chemist with Maple Leaf Mills in Winnipeg. Lyle and Violet were married in 1941 and Lyle served In the armed forces from 1944 to 1945. Lyle was a great golfer, curler, hockey player and baseball player and was a member of the Shriner's. Lyle will be lovingly remembered by biographies and the Bible.

Many will remember him for his generous nature, his knack with a broken-down car, his love of animals and his delicious cinnamon buns. He will be sorely missed by his many close friends, his acquaintances, his CARG group, his faithful dogs, and especially his loving family. Harry Is survived by tola, his wife of 32 years; his daughters, Kristy (Chad) and Kandis (Michael); one brother, Nick (llene); three sisters, Mary (Jim) Hill, Rose Hill and Alice; one sister-in-law, Mary Barks; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. Bruno District until he retired to Saskatoon, He was a very active member of Zion Lutheran Church at Bruno, SK.

Fred especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, woodworking and his grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held from Augustana Lutheran Church (southeast corner of Broadway and Seventh Street), on Wednesday, September 24th, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor David Hunter officiating. Roy was born September 26, 1931 in Saskatoon and lived here until he left at age 1 9. Roy was very versatile and held a variety of positions in Edmonton and Fort McMurray before returning to Saskatoon in 1986, where he and Mary managed the Lord Nelson Apartments for the last 15 years. Roy's greatest love was his family and he and Mary hosted many large family gatherings, Friends and relatives alike always enjoyed their hospitality.

Roy BOENSCH Mathilda Friederike (nee Duester) passed away peacefully at Porteous Lodge on Saturday, September 13, .2003 at the age of 93. Left to cherish her memory are her loving family, son, Eugen (Beverly) of Saskatoon, SK; and grandchildren. Monica (Dennis) Baldwin and their children, Tia. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugen in 1984; her parents, Gottfried and Paula; her brothers, Paul and Gottfried; and sister, Anne. Mathilde was born In Germany on April 3, 1910 and immigrated to Canada in 1956 and made 'her home in Saskatoon until her death. She enjoyed the outdoors, her garden, flowers and houseplants and her time spent at the German Canadian Club Concordia singing in the choir and helping out in the kitchen baking and cooking, especially at Folkfest. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren four brothers and one sister. A memorial service will take place at Elim Tabernacle (8th Street and Moss Ave) on Thursday, September 25, 2003 at 2:00 p.m.
