This kind, gentle man became one of us 29 years ago and from then on was completely absorbed into the family.

Del was so respectful of everyone. He had a sincere affection for all his family giving much of his time to them in leisurely talks over many a cup of coffee. He was a loving family man with a quiet strength. I can remember well seeing Del down on the floor playing hot wheels or legos or giving them help with their homework. He took pride in all his families achievements and he always had a place in his heart for the youngsters his nieces and nephews will vouch for that.

We remember his hearty laugh, his good nature and how he had time and took time for everyone. You never heard Del say an unkind word about anyone and he very seldom ever complained. I used to marvel at his patience in having to listen to this repetitious music that came from the studio. Always, their home was Grand Central Station for students and parents alike. Del was always ready to give a helping hand, whether it was field work, electrical work, bookkeeping or whatever.

We all knew that Del loved computers he could talk about computers for hours. Del was the Accountant at Centennial Plumbing in Saskatoon where he worked with computer programming. He was a great support to Cecilia and encouraged her when she decided to complete music studies and receive her Registered Music Teachers Degree. This support was invaluable to Cecilia towards attaining this goal. Delmour loved having company.
