The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 20th at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Rev. Charles MacNutt from Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North.

Courtesy parking is available directly south of the Chapel. He leaves to mourn, his companion Margaret Hansen; his children, Brenda (Scott) Billett, Jerry (Audrey), Lyle (Etta), Roger (Pam), Bev (Ed) Loopkey and Dennis (Agnes); fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister, Lillian Wiebe of Acme, AB; four brothers, Roy (Anna), Harold (Lorraine) and Jim (Eve), all of Saskatoon and Gordon (Dorothy) of Sudbury, ON and the mother of his children, Sarah Evans. He was predeceased by his parents, Ellen Jane (Arnold) and James Lee Evans, and by one brother, Howard Evans. Bob enjoyed his dogs and spending time in his garden. Many will remember his willingness to help: to pour a sidewalk, renovate a room or repair a car.

Interment to take place at the Ukr. Orthodox cemetery at Hafford. Survived by one sister Sally and brother-irhlaw Peter J. Harach; one nephew, Art (Mary) Harach and children, Joleen, Danny and Jennifer; two nieces, Diana (Doug) Hull and children, Suzanne and Cordel; Denise (Bruce) Kowalchuk. He was predeceased by his parents, John in 1962 and Wa-sylyna in 1971.

Peter was born on September 19, 1911 in a two room clay plastered house on a farm near Hafford. After receiving his High School Education in Hafford, he attended Normal School in Regina and received his teaching Diploma. His first teaching job was at Krevoshein (Oscar Lake) where the students were bigger than him. He taught in numerous places in Saskatchewan, such as Strong Pine, Wynyard, Cando, Whitkow, Redfield, Mayfair and in the Hafford District. He then took a municipal administration course and worked at a local municipal office.

He was one of the founding members of the Hafford Credit Union and in 1957 became manager. In 1976 he retired as manager of the Credit Union and became Town Administrator for another 4 years, until finally retiring at the age of 69. Peter was an avid reader with a library of his own. He was a Life Member of St. Andrews College in Winnipeg, and also worked with the youth organization S.U.M.K.

He was on the committee for the Hafford History Book, did a lot of proof reading and typing. He received a Saskatchewan Culture and Recreation Volunteer Award. Peter was a strong believer in supporting the Mohyla Institute, Ukr. Museum of Saskatoon, SL Andrews College and his own church with monetary donations. He will be sadly missed by friends and family who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers the Family requested donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 562, North Battleford, SK, S9A 2Y7 or to a charity of the donor's Choice. He retired in 1982 and settled down in the town of Rosthern where he lived at the time of his death. Bill is survived by his wife Rosaline, resident at the Duck Lake nursing Home. His sister Mary, resident at Extendi-Care Home in Saskatoon and his sister Josephine Billey of Rosthern. Also his nieces Mrs. Ann Manika of Saskatoon, Mrs.

Jean Pryma of Saskatoon, Mrs. Slawka (Mary) of Hafford, Mrs. Francis Sherban of Saskatoon and Mrs. Jean Hrytsak (Niece-in-law) of Napanee, Ontario. Also his nephews, Mr: Mike Chalazan of Saskatoon, Mr.

Peter Hrytsak of Saskatoon, Mr. Rudy Hrytsak of Spruce Grove, Alberta and Mr. Arthur Ritchie of Saskatoon. Bill was predeceased by his father Michael, his mother Martha and brothers Mat, John, and Steve as well as sister Ann. Interment will be in the Sts.

Peter Paul Ukrainian Catholic cemetery, Rosthern. Arrangements are in care of FUNK'S FUNERAL HOME Rosthern. THOMA Erwin Thoma passed away at St. Paul's Hospital on September 15th. 1994, at the age of 65.

Erwin was born, July 3rd, 1929 in Hockwiesen Germany. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, and one sister. Erwin is survived by, one sister and nieces and nephews in Germany, as well as nieces and nephews in Saskatoon, Alberta, and Chicago. Erwin was looking forward to retirement. He was known for his good humor and would always lend a helping hand to someone in need.

He loved farming, animals and sports. Prayer services will be held on Thursday September 22nd at 8:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Saskatoon Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, September 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home with interment to follow in Woodlawn Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Gunther Kunze, John Kvamme, Henry Butler, Jack Zlatner, Wayne Webber, and Gary Theriault will serve as pallbearers. Erwin will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. SWTTZER The death of Nelson Switzer occurred peacefully at his residence in the Saskatoon Convalescent Home on Saturday, September 17, 1994 at the age of 78 years.

He was born on January 27, 1916 to William and Sarah Switzer on his father's homestead, northwest of Radisson. He was predeceased by his parents, William Henry in 1955 and Sarah in 1961. Nelson is survived by: his three sisters, Mary (Graver) Heavin of Melfort, Ella (Len) Dows of Vernon, BC, and Lillian Switzer of Saskatoon; one brother, William (Greta) Switzer also of Saskatoon; nephews, Harvey (Marion) Heavin, Larry (Sharon) Heavin and Milton Heavin all of Melfort, and Robert (Es-telle) Dows of Shellbrook; and by several great nieces and nephews. He moved to Saskatoon in the fall of 1946 with his parents when they retired from farming, Nelson worked on the CPR Extra Gang and later was a janitor at Kres-ges for 15 years. He belonged to the 60 Plus Club at Bethel United Church, where he was an ardent carpet bowler.

Nelson also enjoyed hunting and fishing. George is survived by: his wife Gladys; sons, Brent (Sharon) of Dellsle, Greg (Eva) of Delisle, Calvin of Saskatoon; four very special Grandsons, Curtis, Lee-Jay, Jesse and Clinton; and sister, Irene (Harold) Oakes of Lloydminister; and sister-in-law, Irene (Roger) Heseltine of Saskatoon. He was predeceased by: his daughter Judy in 1949; his parents, Bill and Jane; and four brothers, Herb, Gilbert. Leon and John. George was born and raised in the Lincoln district Southeast of Delisle. He married Gladys Doig in 1944 and began farnv ing In the Avondale District Northwest of Delisle.

George's passion was his family and -his farm, his greatest virtue was his kindness. He truly enjoyed what some of us often take for granted, a new born calf, a rainy day in spring, a brisk Northwest wind at harvest time. In 1974 he and Gladys moved to Delisle, and although he seldom admitted he was retired he had more time to enjoy his family, particularly his grandsons which meant so much to him. In his later years, George developed a keen interest in playing bridge with his friends-so much so that bridge night would even take priority over a night on the combine. We will miss you Dad but will always appreciate what you have given and done for us.

He was predeceased by his father, Joseph in 1962. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Edna Haider; his three children Brian of Edmonton, Randy (Shelley), and Jocelyn (David) Pampu; his three grandsons, Daniel and Mathew Haider and Mitchell Pampu; his special friend, Lorraine Lalonde; one sister, Fran (Ray) Engel of Edmonton; and one brother, Lawrence of Portugal. John was born on May 24, 1931 in Saskatoon. After finishing Grade School at SL Mary's, he went to Campion College in Regina. After graduating he pursued a career in purchasing.

He started his career at the Bessborough Hotel, he then moved his family to Prince Albert where he worked at the Holy Family Hospital. In 1965 he moved back to Saskatoon to become Director of Materials Management at the University Hospital where he worked until his retirement In 1991. John's other Interests were wide and varied, besides fishing and golfing he was involved in all aspects of Minor Hockey in Saskatoon: coaching, managing, and commissioner. John spent over 30 years as a Softball umpire, locally, nationally and internationally. He was especially proud of being the first umpire to receive the Lapinski Award of Service to Softball In Saskatoon.

John was very involved with the Purchasing Management Association of Canada at both local and National Levels. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 10:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Fr. Francis Kolla at St.

MITCHELL Robert A. Mitchell passed away peacefully at Extendicare on September 18, 1994 at the age of 73 years. As a loving husband, wise father, and generous friend, he will be remembered always with love and affection. Bob will be sadly missed by: his loving wife, Anne; and sons: Jack of Saskatoon and Brian (Judy) of Banff, Alberta. He was a life member of the Harlesden Chapter 33 of the Royal Arch Mason and Mystic Tie Lodge.

Paul's Hospital on Saturday, September 17, 1994. Larry Pederson is survived by his devoted daughter-in-law. Fay Pederson and his loving granddaughter, Elena Anna Pederson, both of Montreal, PQ; as well as, many close friends and acquaintances. He was predeceased by his first wife, Anna (Latsch) Pederson; his second wife, Marie Virgina Pederson; and his one beloved son, Erik C.B. Pederson.

The late Larry Pederson was born in Denmark on March 23, 1903. He was a long-time and faithful craftsman of Hy-Grade Millwork Ltd. Some of his Woodwork can be seen at the Ra-mada Renaissance Hotel. THe Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Dr.

Sally will be greatly missed and mourned by her loving husband, George, and her children Luella (Henry) Becher, Bryan (Gayle), Adrien (Linda), Brenda (Greg), Mel (Colleen), Cheryl (Dave) Fanon, Michelle, Rick (Manon) and herbeloved grandchildren: Lauranna, Todd, Derek, Scott (Lorl), Kirby (Tracy), Jason, Ryan, and Blair Becher; Jennifer and Jeff Farion; Trisha, Trevor, and Tracie Skalicky; Dallas and Lindsay Donahue and Jackson and Rachel Skalicky. She also leaves to mourn her passing one brother Vincent (Imelda) Mamer, and two sisters: Mar-cella Braun and Delores (Roman) Sarauer, along with numerous brothers and sisters inlaws, nieces, nephews and friends. Sally was born In Humboldt, SK on July 4th, 1920 and spent her early years in Lake Lenore. On February 25th, 1943 she married George I.

Skalicky, also of Lake Lenore and they recently celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary. She lived for a brief time in Hamilton, Ontario while George was serving overseas in the Armed Forces. The family returned to Lake Lenore, and spent short periods in Naicam, Melville and Regina before settling in Saskatoon in 1957. She was a long time member of St. Paul's Catholic Parish and the Catholic Women's League.

A loving and devoted home-maker, Sally took great pride in her sewing, cooking and craftworks. Her family remembers her unselfish caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, friends and neighbours. She was always there for those who needed her, and no favour was too great to ask of her. The Vigil of Prayer will take place on Monday, September 19th at 7:00 p.m. at St.

BECKER The death of Mr. Wilfred (Wllf) Becker of Saskatoon, SK, occurred at St. Paul's Hospital on Saturday, September 17th, 1994 at the age of 79 years. Wilfred was born on December 30, 1914 in Clavet, SK. He worked with various construction companies in Saskatoon.

Wilfred was married on October 8, 1938 to Christina Wollman. Surviving are his loving family: wife, Christina; his children, Doreen Duchnitski (George Kovacs) of North Battleford, Richard (Peggy) Becker of Naicam; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters; four brothers and by numerous nieces and nephews. The Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 1994 at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Mr. Jake Waldner.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, at 2:00 p.m. from the Bergtha-ler Mennonite Church, Gruenthal, SK, conducted by Rev. Ed Martens and Rev.

George Buhler. Surviving are: his wife, Tena of 52 years; two sons, Elmer (Charlene) Doell, Regina, Norman (Sandy) Doell, Saskatoon; five grandchildren, Seane and Tanya Doell, Banff, AB, Ward Doell, Edmonton, AB, Perry Doell, Toronto, ON, Tracy Doell, Saskatoon; two brothers, George (Leah) Doell, Hague, Frank Doell, Terrace, BC; two sisters, Tena (Maurice) Lapointe, Victoria, BC, Helen (George) Bergen, Terrace, BC; three brothers-in-law, Frank Hildebrandt, Vancouver, BC, John Campbell, Surrey, BC, Gus Heinbigner, Saskatoon; three sisters-in-law, Esther Doell, Lansing, Michigan, U.S.A., Justina Doell, Saskatoon, Elizabeth Doell, Hague; also numerous nieces and nephews. Lloyd was born on October 5, 1913 at Vanscoy, SK. He farmed in the Asquith district from 1951 until his passing.

Uoyd was predeceased by his wife Irene in 1991 and by his parents, five brothers, one sister and his daughter-in-law, Hope. Uoyd is survived by his son Les (Pat) of Asquith, his daughter, Gloria (Rod) Ramsay of Regina and his son Ken (Janet) of Saskatoon, eleven grandchildren, three brothers; Henry (Myla) of Grandora and Harold and George (Ann) both of Saskatoon, two sisters; Martha Chappell of North Battleford and Francis Chap-pell of Asquith and several nieces and nephews.
