Bertha Clifford was born on August 28, 1925 on jie farm at Beechy, SK. She attended school while Irving with her grandmother at Hill and Hollow and later switched to Rob Roy School. In 1941 Bertha moved to Lucky Lake and completed her grade 12 education. Bertha then worked at the Lucky Lake Hospital.

In May, 1946 she married Erwin UnRuh. Bertha then worked in two different stores in Lucky Lake and went on to a full time job as mother, homemaker and grain truck driver. Bertha was an avid supporter of her community involved in many functions and fund raisers. She was also a member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Bertha is survived by her husband, Erwin; three children, Wenda (Don) Mcintosh of Abottsford, BC, Scott (Joanne) UnRuh of Lethbridge, Alberta, Laurie (Donna) UnRuh of Dundurn, SK; six grandchildren, Tenille and Terra UnRuh, Robin and Bryan UnRuh and Kyle and Christopher Mcintosh; three sisters, June (Art) Holmes of Pen-hold, Alberta, Frances Hand of Ottawa, ON and Sylvia (Terry) Telford of Saskatoon, SK.

She was predeceased by her parents, Reginald and Sylvia Clifford and by two brothers, Marvin and Donald. Bertha was lovingly attended until leaving this world by her loving family and the caringmembers of the Palliative Care Team of the Lucky Lake Health Centre. The Funeral Centre. EMSON Mary Elizabeth Emson (nee Lewis) was born at Ponty Pool, South Wales, in September 1929. She died on October 4th, 1994 after a short final illness. Surviving are: his loving wife, Ina, of 52 years; and their five children, Gerald (Viki) of Boise, Idaho, Arlene (Ken) Wuschke of Moose Jaw, Howard (Yvonne Peters) of Winnipeg. Christine (Brian Dowling) of Saskatoon, Jim (Lorraine) of Perdue; grandchildren, Ryan (Tina) of Douglasville, Georgia, Rena, Doug (Jill) Wuschke, Seth, Aden, Lee Shay Dowling; and great-grandchildren, Grant, Janelle Sarah Miller, Hayley Wuschke; Sister, Glad (Frank) Stevenson of Nepean, Ontario; and sister-in-law, Ruby Miller; niece. He was predeceased by: his father and mother; brother, Jack; and sister, Dorothy Arnold. Grant was the first of four children, born and raised on the homestead in Leney District.

Upon graduating in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan, he served in the Air-Force from 1942 to 1946 and then returned to his first love the land for his remaining years. He was one of the founders of the Medicare, the Hog Marketing Board. The Saskatchewan Farmers Union and The National Farmers Union. He was also very active in the Royal Canadian Legion, United Church, the CCFNNew Democrats, Perdue Agricultural Society, Wheat Pool, and Biggar Hospital Board. He will always be remembered for his humor, generosity travelling cross-country selling raffle tickets.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan would be appreciated. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor at he Perdue Community Complex, Thursday October 6, 1994, 2:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Bill Kiesman. Sadlowski was born in Krydor, SK, on November 17, 1906 and attended Orolow School. After completion of her schooling, she worked on the family farm. Olga Shewchuk married Joseph Sadlowski, later moving to Saskatoon, where she resided until her passing. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much and was very proud of them. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Chester was born on the family farm in the Wartime district on March 25, 1917.

After receiving his education at Ypres School he then worked as a farm labourer for surrounding farmers. In 1937 he married Clara Dentith and they lived in Edmonton until the fall of 1938 when they returned to the Elrose district. In 1946 they moved to farm in the Wartime district and later moved to Elrose in 1981. Chester was a member of the Elrose Lions Club, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, curling and being with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Clara of Saskatoon; daughter, Teresa (Walter) Reynolds of Saskatoon; sons, Keith (Joan) Maguire of Saskatoon, and Mickey (Dianne) Maguire of Elrose; daughter, Wendy Maguire of Kindersley; fifteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren; and sister, Edith (Edgar) Saunderson of Saskatoon; and brother, Alvin (Edna) Maguire of Elrose; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Lily Maguire of Wartime. Funeral Services will be held from the Elrose United Church on Thursday, October 6, 1994 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Kenney officiating. Organist for the service will be David Hunter, Soloist will be Glen Walker.

Ushers in the church will be Carmen Marcerand Ed Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers are all who shared in Chefs life. Gordpn was born, raised and educated in Saskatoon. He entered his father's business, Lambert Electric, Ltd. at age fourteen and worked there until his retirement in 1977. The family business is now owned and operated by his nephew Doug Logan. Mr.

Lambert was a life member of the Masonic Lodge and a active member in the Association of Diesel Specialists and also the Riversdale Businessman's Association. He leaves to mourn, one daughter, Debbie (Pat) Nebozenko of Saskatoon; two sons, Dale of Ottawa and Lorry (Norine) of Saskatoon; grandchildren, Billy, Mark, Dayna, Charlyn and Dakota; one sister, Louise (Hugh) Robson of Saskatoon; as well as sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Dad grew up in Saskatoon where he attended Wilson and Victoria Public Schools and Saskatoon Technical Collegiate before going on to a life-long career with Canadian Pacific Express, spanning over forty years. He retired as a highway transport driver with CP Transport and was proud of his exemplary driving record. CP Express also led to his meeting of Rosie and set in motion an undying devotion to her and later their family. From husband, father to grandfather, Dad put everyone before himself.

He will be remembered as a quiet, loving and gentle man. In recent years he renewed earlier interests in golf and bowling which parenting had postponed. Walking his dog or tending to his home and yard kept him busy when health would allow. Love for his grandchildren, who range in age from a few months to young adults, was great. You could find him at minor sporting events cheering one day and playing blocks the next Dad was very thankful for the help of his neighbors during the times illness prevented him from carrying on at home.

We will not soon forget the strong sense of family and devotion Dad demonstrated to all of us. Honorary Pallbearers: Don Bodrug, Nick Bilanski, Stan Hill. KRYSOWATY Gina passed away peacefully at her home in Saskatoon on October 3, 1994 at the age of 74 years. AService of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, October 6 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Saskatoon Funeral Home, corner of 4th Avenue and 25th Street with Rev. Arlene Reynolds officiating. Gina is survived by her husband, Michael; daughters, Darlene (Darryl) Sopher and Sherry Krysowaty; all of Saskatoon; three grandchildren, Dear and Darren Sopher and Tara Krysowaty; brothers, Edward (Victoria) Lukashyk of St. Catherines, ON and Maryon (Katie) lukashyk of Leduc, AB. She was predeceased by her father, John Lukashyk in 1958 and her mother, Catherine Lukashyk in 1986. Gina immigrated to Canada from Poland in 1928 with her parents, settled into the farming community of Athabasca, Alberta, completed her high school in Athabasca and graduated as a Registered Nurse at the Edmonton General Hospital in 1953. She worked at the Camsel Veteran Hospital in Edmonton, Fort Nelson General Hospital, Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Porteous Lodge and her last nursing position held was as Director of Care at St.

Joseph's Home for the Aged, Saskatoon. Her retirement in 1986 was followed by her involvement with voluntary work at Trinity United Church, assisting the physically disabled at Oliver Lodge, St. Paul's Hospital and Porteous Lodge. Gina married Michael in 1954. She enjoyed many hobbies, including cooking and gardening, and looked forward to the times spent with her grandchildren.

She enjoyed spending time with her friends, quilting, square dancing and sewing. Gina was a very compassionate and loving person who loved to take care of people and was a great support to many, and will be missed by all. The family sincerely thank all the family and friends for their compassionate support during her period of illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Interment will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Surviving are: his loving wife of 35 years, Betty; his children, Lee (James) Gorunsrud, Lindsay (Dawn and her children, Michelle and Robin), Andra (Brian) Thorstad; his grandchildren, Jonathon and Brianna; his brother, Norm (Verna) Stevenson; his aunts, Vera Astell, Thelma Price and Grace Turner.

He was predeceased by: his mother, Mary; his father, Bert and his step-father, Merlin. Gary was born in Saskatoon, September 11, 1936 and had lived most of his life here. He attended the Technical Collegiate where he was Senior Ring in his graduating class. He developed a love of sports in high school, especially Curling and was a member of the team that won the Dominion High School Curling Championship in 1955. Gary went on to have a very successful curling career, the highlight of which was being a part of the team that was runner up in the 1965 Briar in Saskatoon.

He was a long time employee of St. Paul's Hospital and latterly was the Director of Engineering Services. He was previously employed by Cominco Potash. Gary's personality attracted many lifelong friends, especially in the curling fraternity. He placed great importance on family and his family members relied greatly on him.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 438 2nd Avenue North or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. Cremation will follow the Funeral Service. Paul 's Hospital on Monday, October 3, 1994. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Charles MacNutt from Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North. Courtesy parking is available directly south of the Chapel. George is survived by; his wife, Lily (Miller) of 50 years marriage; son, Jack (special friend Colleen) of Saskatoon; son, Donald (Cathy) and theirchildren, Jacqueline, Andrew, Rita and Ian of Alberta; daughter, Marilyn (Michael) Hosaluk and their children, Christie, Jason, Laura and Mark of Saskatoon; sister-in-law, Florence of Saskatoon and her son, Dennis (Janet) and their children, Karen and Cheryl of St.

Catherines, ON; cousins, May Willis and Jessie (Bill) Tinkess of Alberta, inclusive are many relatives in Sussex, England. George was predeceased by; his father, George F. Glazebrook; his mother, Elizabeth Glazebrook; his brothers. Jack Glazebrook in 1943 serving with the R.C.A.F., Eric Glazebrook in 1962; and his sister, Winnie Mar-cotte in June 1994. The late George Glazebrook was born in Burgess Hills, Sussex, England on August 22, 1910.

He and his family immigrated to Canada in 1912, settling in Saskatoon where he and four generations have resided since. George graduated from Bedford Road Collegiate and then worked for the Carting O'Keefe Brewery for 44 years. He retired in August of 1973 as Superintendent of Bottling, to enjoy 21 years of retirement. George had many interests; music, as a participant of brass instruments and an avid listener of Big Band Sounds; curling, sports, current events and his love of reading. George was a life member of the Masonic Lodge Progress 92 and the Order of The Eastern Star.

George will be sadly missed by all his family and numerous friends who have shared in his life. His integrity, honesty and loyalty has been an example to those who knew him. He lived and died in dignity. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Palliative Care, co St. Paul's Hospital, 1702 20th Street West, Saskatoon, SK S7M 0Z9 or to Cancer Research, co Cancer Clinic, Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, SK S7N 0W8.
