It was her practice to share a cup of coffee, a snack and whatever she happened to have in her cupboards. Marie's special hospitality did more than just meet one's physical needs, it nourished one's soul as she shared Tier love for her Lord through her caring, her comforting, her encouragement and her prayer. The moment a person entered her door they became the most important person on earth. Mane loved people! "Love is patient and kind, it is not jealous or conceited or proud: love is not ill mannered or selfish or irntable: love does not keep a record of wrongs; love in not happy with evil but is happy with truth. Love never gives up and its faith, hope and patience never Marie never let life's circumstances defeat her.

Her life was not easy yet she never complained. This frail whisp of a woman lived each day with the full strength of the Creator of the universe. The cancer which took her life and even death itself were victories for Marie's faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mane was dearly loved by her family, friends and neighbors. She was "mom" and "grandma" to many.
