204 5th Ave. N. Saskatoon, Sask. S7K 2P1 1000 REDL Steve Joseph Redl, age 76, late Saskatoon, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 13, 1995. The Vigil of Prayer will be held from Holy Spirit Parish (114 Kingsmere Place) on Tuesday, January 17th at 7:00 p.m.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated from Holy Spirit Parish Wednesday, January 18th at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Father Ralph L. Welter as the the celebrant. The late Steve Redl is lovingly remembered by: his dear wife Kay; one son Lawrence Redl of Saskatoon; two daughters: Denise Krusrielinski of Saskatoon and Vivian Derdall of Saskatoon; eight grandchildren: Glen (Diane).

Gary (MaryEllen), Grant, Rick, Kelly, Karen (John), Kerry (Brian) and Debbie (Luke); 16 great grandchildren: Melisa, Amber, Steven, Stacey, Kelly Rae, Jeannine, Ki-era, Chantelle, Kayla, Keenan, Bobby, Jennifer, Chris, Candace, Joshua and Joseph; one brother Frank (Michelene) Redl of Wakaw; one sister Mary LaChappelle of Saskatoon; mother-in-law, Mrs. Mary Ko-styk of Saskatoon; sisters-in-law: Christ tina Redl of Wakaw and Angeline Redl of Saskatoon; also numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Barbara Redl; two sisters: Annie and Barbara; two brothers: George and John. Memorials would be appreciated if directed to Sask. Steve worked very hard subcontracting for years with Boychuk Construction. He loved his cottage and the time spent outside, socializing and fishing at Wakaw Lake. He will be sadly missed by his wife and family. Rite of Committal will follow in Woodlawn Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to ACADIA DRIVE FUNERAL CHAPEL (955-1600).

SAGI Marjorie Agnes died peacefully at home January 13, 1995 at the age of 94 years. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 17 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Saskatoon Funeral Home, cor ner of 4th Avenue and 25th Street. (Cour tesy parking south of the Chapel.) Sagi was born August 7, 1900, the eldest child of Hugh Ferguson and Alberta Louisa Scott who homesteaded near Gilbert Plains, MN. She was married in 1933 to the late John Sagl of Wakaw and lived and raised her family in Wakaw, Prince Albert, and Saskatoon. She and her husband celebrated their 50th Anniversary prior to his death in 1984. She was predeceased by her brothers, Walter Scott of Ashville, MN, Robert and Thomas Scott of Chilliwack, BC; and a sister, Laura (Mrs. George McLean) of Parksville, BC.

She is survived by her son, Douglas (Betty) of Ab-botsford, BC; and daughters, Marilyn Sagi and Mrs. Jean (Bob) Holdner of Saskatoon; a sister, Edna (Mrs. Harrison Wright) of Ottawa; and grandchildren, Janos Sagi of Toronto, Lauren Sagi of Vancouver, Devin and Roberta Holdner of Saskatoon, Laurel (Doug) Chomyshen of Carivale, SK, and Lance Holdner of Alberta; four greatgrandchildren, Kristopher, Lacey, Thea and Jonathan. Arrangements have been entrusted to SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME. GONICK The death of Rose Gonick occurred on January 13, 1995 at her residence.

The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 15, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jewish Community Centre 71b McKin- non Ave.) conducted by Rabbi Roger Pavey. Rose Gonick was born in Poland on March 8, 1908. She immigrated to Can ada in 1931, settling in Winnipeg, MB. There she met and married Joseph Wil liam Gonick in March of 1934.

They moved to Saskatoon in 1938. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in Febru ary 1983 and a baby girl who died at birth. Rose enjoyed her family, gardening and cooking. Surviving her are her children, Matthew Gonick, Toronto, Patricia (Mai- com) Sobie, Toronto, Harold (Bette-Ellen) Gonick, Saskatoon, Oscar Gonick and Alec Gonick, both of Saskatoon, Toby Gonick of New Westminister; her grandchildren, Brian (Inez) Sobie, Toronto, Sherryll (Robert) Sobie-Cook, Toronto, Cynthia So bie, Toronto, Jeffrey Brian Gonick, Saska toon, David Samuel Gonick, Saskatoon and Aleyna Robin Gonick, Calgary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sherbrooke Community Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Sherbrooke Community Centre for the care and support given to Mrs. Gonick dur ing her stay there. passed away peacefully on January 14, 1995 at Saskatoon City Hospital, at the age of 90 years, following a brief illness. John was born on March 6, 1904 in tne town or Muensterberg, Russia. He came to Canada in 1926 and farmed in the Clavet Dis trict for over 50 years. John is survived by: his wife Hildegard (Claassen); three sons, Paul (Eileen) of Cochrane, AB, John (Donna) of Saskatoon, Rudy (Edith) of Clavet; and by Hildegard's three sons, Walter of Saskatoon, Reinhart of Calgary, Guenther (Betty) of Edmonton; and 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Louise (Koop) In 1954 and daughter-in-law Lorle (Walter) Claassen in 1993.

He was interested in everyone and everything. He particularly enjoyed gardening, the Ballet, music and sports. (The Roughriders have lost one of their most loyal fans). He was a life long student of world history, and the many hours spent discussing world affairs will be sorely missed. We will miss you Grandpa.

WILSON The passing of Robert (Bob) Francis Wilson occurred January 14, 1995 at Royal University Hospital. He was born May 4, 1912 in the Indi District of Dun- durn. He received his education at Whoosier School, Dundurn school and the University of Saskatchewan.

He devoted his entire life to farming in the Dundurn district with his partner and wife Maxine who were married April 17, 1940. He was a strong supporter of his community, serving the rink and United church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Hanley Elks Lodge and a charter member of the Dundurn Lions Club. Bob also served as chairman of the local Saskatchewan Wheat pool for many years. He served 24 years as councillor in Div.

2 of the R.M. of Dundurn and was Secretary Treasurer of Brightwater Lake Conservation and Development area form 1957-1991. In his youth he enjoyed playing hockey, baseball and was a good curler, and kept in tune with present sports. Bob was an enthusiastic square dancer, enjoyed music, the great outdoors, and especially reading. With his wife Maxine and their family.

Bob donated 30 years of an antique collection to the Dundurn Community in 1991. Bob had a great sense of humour, even up to the time of his passing. Left to mourn are: his wife of 55 years, Maxine; two sons George (Ada) Wilson of Saskatoon and children Carta and David, Fred (Joan) Wilson of Dundurn and children Kathryn, Paul, Barbara and Ben; daughter Dorothy (Don) Williams of Surrey, BC; two brothers, Dr. Logan (Nevah) Wilson of Bloomington, Illinois and Paul (Jean) Wilson of Toronto, ON; and sister-in-law Edna Wilson of Sas katoon, SK; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his par ents W.J.

and Lillian Wilson and a brother Joyce. Memorial Service will be held at the Dundurn United Church on Tuesday, Janu ary 17, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathy Hogman officiating. The Dundurn Masonic Lodge AM Dundurn 117 will attend and perform the last ntes.

Predeceased by her husband of 32 years, J.P. (Jack) Cronin; infant son Patrick; son Michael; and son-in-law Larry Wilcox, she is survived by one son, Gerry (Penny) of'Saskatoon; and two daughters Sheila (Barry) Foster of Calgary, Kathy Wil cox of Regina; daughter-in-law Tressie of Kelowna; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Born in Minnedosa, Manitoba, May 3, 1904.

Moved to Winnipeg where she married in 1933. Moved to Saskatoon in 1936 where she raised her children and after Jack's retirement, moved to Kelowna in 1961. Following Jack's death she moved to various locations enjoying her family. She returned to Saskatoon in 1985 residing at King Edward Place on 25th Street. She will be missed by all whose lives and hearts she touched.

Donald is survived by: a nephew Jack McTavish of Calgary and five nieces, Blanche (Clarence) Bewell of Calgary, Mae Doell of Surrey, BC, Beryl Kelly of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Mary (Lloyd) Frostad of Lacombe, AB, Wanda Ploss of Saska toon and numerous cousins. Donald was predeceased by: his father John and mother Maria; four brothers, Alec, Duncan, Roy and Allan; and two sisters, Mabel Amson and Ruby Savage. Donald was born in Renfrew, Ontario and came to the Environ district when he was five years old.

His parents and other settlers built the McTavish school where he received his ed ucation. Several years later he moved to Sonningdale and farmed there for a num ber of years. His next home was in his fa vorite cabin west of Asquith where he farmed until his retirement and then moved to Asquith. In 1990 he became a resident of Diamond Lodge in Biggar where he received very special care and made many new friends. Donald was gifted with a keen sense of humor and en joyed sharing it with all who knew him.

Born en August 23, 1903, in Fessenden, North Dakota to Knute S. Lee and Birgit (Betsy) Thorvilson. Moved with his family to Saskatchewan in 1908 where he lived until moving to Cedar Springs, ON in 1983. Devoted to the Cooperative Movement, he was with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool for over 40 years in Viscount, Estevan, Shaunavon, and Biggar until he retired to Saskatoon in 1968. He was a member of Viscount Lodge No.

151 A.F. and A.M. for 60 years and a life member of the B.P.O. of Elks. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying golf and curling and coaching baseball and hockey.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 16, at the Ford Funeral Home in Blenheim, ON. BARNES It Is with great sorrow that the family of Beatrice Grace Garrison Barnes announces her sudden passing at her home on January 10, 1995 at the age of 66 years. Bea was born in Saskatoon to Blake and Eva Garrison. She went to school, worked and married Ken Barnes of Saskatoon where they raised five children.

Bea's home and family were always most important to her and in later years sheen-joyed the company of her dear friend, Maureen. Mom had a special gift that made everyone she met endeared to her. In the last few years of her life she found happiness and contentment and for that her family is very thankful. Mom will be sadly missed by Brenda (Cecil) Hunter of Elrose, Norman (Janet) Barnes of Saskatoon, Robert (Aline) Barnes of Edmonton, AB, Shelly (Danny) Grimley of Saskatoon, Ken Barnes of Viscount; sister-in-law, Shirley Garrison and family of Edmonton, AB; five grandchildren, Crystal, Michael (Norm), Holly, Jim (Brenda) and Nicole (Shelly); and numerous aunts and uncles. Bea was predeceased by her son, Ronald; her parents, Blake and Eva; and her brothers, Edward and Donald.
