The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 9th, 1988 at 1 :00 p.m. from the Asquith United Church, conducted by Rev.

W. Kelsman. Born Grace Hitchings, February 13th, 1901 in England, Mrs. Ewen came to Canada with her parents, five brothers, and two sisters. In 1919 she married Jack Ewen and five sons and one daughter were born of that union.

Mrs. Ewen lived onafarm InthePoplarCrescent district until moving to Asquith. She loved flowers and took pride in all growing things. Mrs. Ewen was predeceased by her parents, five brothers and two sisters, her husband, four sons, and one great-grandson.

Left to mourn isoneson Angus and his wife Irene, a daughter Gladys and her husband Clark Burwell, six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Mrs. Ewen had two special granddaughters that brought her a lot of ioy and in her declining years gave her all the love and care possible. Memorial gifts to the Asquith United Church would be appreciated by the family. Interment will be made in the Asquith Cemetery.

Dick married Nora Marie Bowren on December 23, 1944 and they farmed in Eldersley and Carrot River until his retirement and moved to Saskatoon in 1980. Dick was an active member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows and was Involved in Boy Scouts of Canada. DAVIS The death of Ellen Mae Davis age 38 yearsof Saskatoon, Saskatchewan occurred suddenly In Saskatoon, on Sunday, June 5, 1988. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. from the Perdue Cemetery, Perdue, Saskatchewan conducted by Rev. W. Kelsman (In lieu of flowers donations to the Saskatchewan Association for the Mentally Retarded, 3031 Louise Saskatoon would be appreciated).

Surviving are her loving brother, Murray (Jean) Davis of Perdue and loving sisters, Joanne (Allan) Husband of Harris and Gail (Gordon) Duhaime of and nephews, Michelle, Laurie, Keith, Gordon and Tanya; Derek, Jason, and Jordan as well as many other relatlvesand friends. I len was born on October 26, 1949 at Saskatoon. She lived In Perdue until 1972 at which time she moved to Saskatoon where she worked for I mwood Lodge until the time of her passing. KARR Lucy Daisy (nee Malloch) passed away at Stensrud Lodge In Saskatoon on June 6th, 1988 at the age of 86 years. Mrs. Karr was born in Treherne, Manitoba on April 12th, 1902.

She was educated in Treherne and went to Teacher's College in Winnipeg. She then taught school in various places InManltobaand Saskatchewan. Daisy married RovC. Karr on Decemeber9th, 1931 at Tlsdale, and they lived in Archerwill until 1943. They moved to Stewart Valley and lived there until i960 when they moved to Pioneer Lodge in Swift Current.

Roy passed away in March 1966. Daisy remained in Swift Current until April 1982 when she moved to Earner Court In Saskatoon. Msr. Karr was an active member of Grace United Church in Swift Current. She waspredeceased by her parents, Walter and Lucy Malloch; two brothers, Ralph and Fred; four sisters, Ethel, Elizabeth, Clara, and Gertrude.

Daisy is survived by her step-daughter, Omle (Wally) Lay-bourne of Calgary, her son, Ronald (Donnle) of Saskatoon; her grandchildren, Donalda, Carol, Elaine, Kevin and Leslie; six great grandchildren; and by several nieces and nephews. MIDDLETON Bonnie Thistle Middleton age 26 years of Star Trailer Court, Saskatoon died suddenly on Sunday, June 5th, 1988. Surviving are her parents, Orvlleand Jean Middleton of Saskatoon; her sister, Dawn (Rev. After the war, the introduction of Alice to John resulted in their marriage and later they came to farm in the Colonsay district of Saskatchewan. A son, Gerry, was brought into this world In 1947.

Another son was born in 1958 but died In infancy. They continued to farm and recently built a retirement residence In the town of Colonsay. Mrs. Klebaum was born jn March 12th, 1913 in the Bergheimdistrlct did it was here that she received her education. During the 1930's she worked at whatever lobs were aval lable. On May 30th, 1942 she married Gustav Klebaumand they made their home In Saskatoon. In her younger years she was a member of St.

Paul's Lutheran Church, was involved with the ladies Auxiliary and was a volunteer at the Lutheran Sunset Home. Mrs. Klebaum's greatest ioy was her family and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enloyed gardening and was an avid reader. Mrs.

Klebaum was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who has been greatly appreciated, and will be sadly missed by her family. Intermentwillfollowinthe Berghelm Community Cemetery.
