BeDell of 1620 Clawson St. She had resided in Alton for 26 years, coming here from St. Louis Mo. She was a member of College Avenue Presbyterian Church, and of Eastern Star Lodge at Van Buren. Ark.

Mrs. BeDell WHS born May 8, 1872. at Pacific, and had trav- elled extensively with her husband as his duties as railroad master mechanic took him to various of the country. Surviving In addition to her son, are a daughter, Mrs. O.

F. Gulp, of East Alton, a brother, Henry Kolbaum Hutchinson, three sisters, Mrs. Emma Wright of San Marino, and Mrs. C. M.

Gudger and Mrs. Anna B. Reyburn of Osawatomie, and six grandchildren. Mrs. Gudger and Mrs.

Reyburn are en route to Alton for funeral rites which will be conducted 1:30 p. m. Saturday in Streeper funeral home by the Rev. Francis Henderson, pastor of College Avenue Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Bellefontaine cemetery, St.

Louis County. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30 p. m. today. nl dent of years.

5 Gottlieb Kaeser Red Official Sentenced MOSCOW The government newspaper Izvestla reported today that the director of Moscow's shoe factory No. 2 has been sentenced to five years In prison for faking production figurei. In the process he gained unearned bonuses for himself and his workers. The factory boss, D. F.

Burdln, was tried In acity court along with his technical foreman, M. R. As- rieli. The prosecution, Izvestla said, proved they forged warehouse documents to show they had turned out a full quota of shoes when production actually was only 74 per cent of what it should have been. They were cited also for producing poor quality footwear.

Kaeser, 63, of 31fi Spring an employe for 36 years at Western Cartridge and prior to that a glass-blower, died at 3 a. m. today in St. Joseph's 'Hospital. Kaeser had been ill since last August when he took a leave of absence from his work at the munitions plant.

Kaeser, he was born Aug. 7, 1889, in Alton, and had resided here all of his life.
