MMaarriillyynn SSuuee BBeellllaaiirree July 4, 1948 Sept. 13, 2007 ELKHART Marilyn Sue Bellaire, 59, of Elkhart, after a battle with cancer went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 1:55 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2007, in her residence. Marilyn was born on July 4, 1948, in Washington, IN. On October 19, 1968, as Marilyn Sue Hackler, she married Jack Willard Bellaire at First Baptist Church in Mishawaka, IN.

Jack survives along with a son, Jack Bellaire Jr. and Mark (Tonya) Bellaire of Easley, grandson, Caleb of Lyman, grandchildren, Marissa, Matthew and brothers, John Hackler, Chuck Hackler, Ron Hackler and Tom two sisters, Vera Swaney and Bev Miller. Marilyn was born to John and Frances Hackler who passed away when Marilyn was very young.Marilyn was raised by Martha and Wilburn Everett.Martha and children are Bill Everett, Ken Everett and Jan Squires. Marilyn was preceded in death by Wilburn Everett and three half brothers, Harvey Hackler, Robert Hackler and Tony Hackler. Marilyn was a member of First Baptist Church of Mishawaka, where she was very active in Awana for 33 years and volunteered in Sunday School and VBS.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N.Main Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services for Marilyn will be at 11 a.m.Monday, September 17, 2007, in First Baptist Church Mishawaka, 724 N.Main Street, Mishawaka, IN 46545, where visitation will also be from 10 until 11 a.m.Pastor David Miller will officiate the services with burial to follow at Olive Cemetery, Elkhart, IN. DeGraff, 69, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2007, in Fountainview Place, Mishawaka. Larry retired from South Bend Plastic.He was born on February 14, 1938, in South Bend, IN, to Grant and Bessie (Mead) DeGraff, and was a lifelong resident. He is survived by his sister- in-law, Virginia DeGraff of South sister, Virginia (T.J.) Bruce of three daughters, Peggy (Lester) Singleton, Janet DeGraff and Patty Jo (Tracy) Somers, all of South Bend. Also surviving are six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Damp and Kay brothers, Earl, Ralph and Carney by a granddaughter.

He was an avid country music fan, played the spoons and enjoyed riding horses. Felix Stump and Adm.William Halsey in the Pacific during World War II.After leaving the service he worked as an advertising executive for Montgomery Wards, Encyclopedia Britannica, Mrs. Stevens Candies and Coronet Films, eventually retiring with his wife Jane to South Bend, IN.Ed will be missed by all who knew him for his unique and wonderful sense of humor.A private service was held by family members. TThhoommaass FFoogggg May 4, 1916 Sept. 11, 2007 CASSOPOLIS Thomas Fenton Fogg 91, died peacefully at home surrounded by loving family members. He was born in Decatur, Michigan, on May 4, 1916.He died September 11, 2007, in Largo, Florida.Tom was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Virginia Salvin, who died in 1955 at age 36, and his second wife, the former Gertrude J.Shriver, who died August 10, 2005, at the age of 85.Tom’s only sibling, his brother, Simon W.Fogg, died in 1979, Tom owned a farm in Cassopolis, Michigan, and a winter residence in Largo, Florida.He was a graduate of Cassopolis High School and Western Michigan University, where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.

He served honorably in World War II with the Army Corps of Engineers in France and the Philippines. Tom will be remembered with love by his five children, Claire Marlow of Sarasota, FL, Thomas Fogg Jr.of California, Christine Beach (James Shea) of Big Pine Key, FL, and Dorset, VT, Dallas Fogg of Clearwater, FL, and Mary (Richard) Alfrisseo of stepson, Donald (Michlyn) Schriver of Palm Harbor, Kenneth Marlow, Virginia Queri, Sterling Fogg, Sweetwater Fogg, Nani Vavul, Gila Wigton, Sonny Fogg, Kelly Beach, Eric Arnold, Abby Jones, Alfred Shriver and Monica numerous great-grandchildren. The family is extremely grateful for the devotion of his many caregivers, especially Dallas Fogg, Claire Marlow, Gila Wigton, Jessie Mink and Hospice of the Suncoast. Services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at 2:00 p.m.in Connelly Funeral Home in Cassopolis, Michigan, with interment to follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery. He will be buried in the family plot between his two loving wives.The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour before the services in the funeral home.

Galbreath, 65, of Marcellus, formerly of Dowagiac, began life on July 18, 1942, in Dowagiac, the son of William H.and Marjorie (Allison) Galbreath. He was a 1961 graduate of Dowagiac High School.From July 24, 1961, until July 24, 1967, Bill served his country in the United States Army as a signal corps lineman. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, the former Carol Haley, on December 24, 1982, in Dowagiac.Bill worked for Jessup Door, GB Plastics and Glaval Van Conversions.

He loved to restore old cars and had recently finished his beautiful Ford Falcon Ranchero. In his retirement he enjoyed woodworking and leather crafts to occupy his time.He was well-known for his holiday decorating and would make scenes for every holiday, especially Christmas.He house would be the most decorated on the block. Bill treasured his family and his reason for staying on this earth was his grandson, Karl Lockhart. His loving family includes his daughter, Susan Lockhart of son, Scott W. Galbreath of his grandson, Karl Lockhart of Marcellus.

Bill passed away in his home on Friday, September 14, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his beloved wife, Carol Galbreath. His family is holding a private memorial service and burial of his cremains at Dewey Cemetery. Memorial contributions in name may be made to his family in care of Susan. She is survived by her niece, Joan Newland, Nicholas (Anne) Gough, OH, and Richard Gough, a sister-in-law, Evelyn Gough, OH.Sister will be missed by cousins and many friends. Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1931 and made final profession in 1937.

Sister began as an elementary teacher and in 1937 studied nursing at Mount Carmel, Columbus, OH.After graduation she was made night supervisor at Mount Carmel. She attended Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., and received a BS in nursing edu- cation.Sister returned to Mount Carmel as assistant director and instructor in the school of nursing.In 1956 Sister was made director of Holy Cross School of Nursing, Saint Hospital, South Bend, and held in 1963 the same position in the school of nursing and following study at Dunbarton College, Washington, D.C., was made director of in-service education at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, MD.In 1967 she was an associate professor, Penn State University, Pittsburgh, and in 1969 associate professor, Catholic University, Washington, D.C. Sister Nicholas returned to Mount Carmel Hospital as research consultant, nursing service, until she retired 1984 to Saint Convent, Notre Dame, IN, and was active in community service, visiting the elderly and the ministry of prayer until her death. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of the Holy Cross Ministry with the Poor Fund, Saint Notre Dame, IN 46556. Willie was born to Fred and Bertha (Miller) Hankerson on August 18, 1940, in Augusta, GA.He was the fifth of seven children.He was preceded in death by his parents, and by two brothers and one sister.

Willie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Buchanan, MI.On July 20, 1963, he was united in holy matrimony to Mary (Berry) Hankerson.To this union two children were born, Veronica (Hankerson) Williams and Vanessa (Hankerson) Timpson. In 1965 the family moved to South Bend, IN, where he resided until he was called home.
