Surviving are her loving husband Al; three daughters, Marion Bock and her friend Randy Borisenko of Calgary, Joan (Eldon) Tilk and Susan (Calvin) Mann both of Saskatoon; two sons Ralph and his fiancee Lisa Schira of Saskatoon and Lyle at home; four grandchildren Lowell, Brenna, Charity and Lindsay. Also three sisters, Marion (Charlie) Burkell ot Saskatoon, Ida (Harold) Craven ot North Battleford and Cecile (Raleigh) Gibson of Kyle, Sask; one brother Campbell (Phyllis) Casswell of Kindersley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Sybil was predeceased by her parents Henry and Marion Casswell; one sister Kathleen; and three brothers Henry, Fred and Richard.

Sybil was bom, raised and educated at Ituna, Saskatchewan. She was an active community worker and a founding member ot Saskatchewan Awareness ot Post Polio. Oil Company, he spent many years operating his own service stations in Prince Albert and Saskatoon. He was predeceased by his first wife, Anne in 1968; and also his sisters, Nora Pipe and Luella Dunlop. Percy Is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his daughter, Linda and son-in-law, Hugh and his special joy, his granddaughter, Margot Wright of Regina; his son, Jim and daughter-in-law, Karen Davis ot Saskatoon; his step-son, Jim Sawers ot Lethbridge, his sisters, Grace Paulin of Victoria, B.C., Ethel Felton (Dick) ot Kelowna, C. and Jean Burch (Gerry) of Vancouver, B.C., and many nieces, nephews, and triends. The family would most gratefully like to thank Doctors, Landa, Bartett, Sharma and the wonderful nursing staff of 3E Saskatoon City Hospital.

Michael was bom on July 15th, 1983. He was currently a Grade 2 student at Caswell School. Michael was a very bright and intelligent boy who always amazed everyone with his knowledge and liveliness. He made friends easily and enjoyed school Immensely. Michael had many hobbies including woodworking, reading, astronomy and others too numerous to mention.

He loved going to the lake, fishing and driving the boat. He was constantly making little crafts for those around him. In following Michaels own desire to help kids less fortunate we suggest donations to the Children's Wish Foundation, Box 309, Saskatoon, Sask. S7K 9Z9 in lieu of flowers. Interment will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the SASKATOON FUNEFtAL HOME. HUBER The death of Harold Allen Huber age 52 years ot Sas jcatoon occurred suddenly on December 2nd, 1 990. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 6th, 1 990 at 3:30 p.m. from the Chapel ot the SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME conducted by Rev. Harold Thannhauser.

He is survived by his loving wife, Norma; his children, David and Bonnie; mother, Mrs. Nora Huber of Regina; sister, Ella Stewart of Regina; many sisters and brothers-in-law; and nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Huber. Harold always had a love for animals, life and people. He was an ardent sport enthusiast.

His first taste of sports was softball, in which he excelled; then he took up curling, and enjoyed fishing and then became an avid hockey fan and player. Harold also enjoyed playing his banjo and guitar. He worked for 22 years for Federated Co-op and the last five for the City of Saskatoon. Interment will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Saskatoon Minor Hockey Assoc.

occurred in the Milden Union Hospital on November 30th, 1 990 at the age of 79 years. Matt was bom in Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 29th, 1911 and moved to Windthorst, Sask. shortly thereafter. He married Matilda Coppicus in 1944. They moved to Milden in 1 947.

He ran the Dray in Milden until 1954. He then went to work for fhe Pioneer Grain Company as a Grain Buyer until his retifement in 1 969. Matt was predeceased by his lather in 1915; his mother in 1920; his brothers. Frank and Joe; and sisters, Mary and Annie; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Lenius and granddaughter, ammie Lenius. Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife Matilda; his children, Frances Traff, Annette Sinden, Eileen (Bfll) Anderson, Donald, Ronald (Heather), Conrad, and Dennis (Gloria); one brother Henry (Stella) Lenius; 1 8 grandchildren; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 4th, 1990 at 3:00 p.m, at the St. Pius Catholic Church In Windthorst, Sask. The interment will be in the St. Pius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Saskatchewan Lung Association or the Milden Hospital Auxiliary.

Arrangements are in care of the Outlook Funeral DEATHS 7 ABBOTT It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Edward Abbott of Saskatoon, on December 1 st, 1 990 in a local hospital. Surviving are his loving wife Marion; three brothers John (Susan) of Surrey, B.C., Sam (Adele) of Melfort, George (Beryl) of Saskatoon, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Abbott was predeceased by his mother and father and a sister Anne Quackenbush.

ANTON-GILBEY The death of Mrs. Alma Anton-Gilbey, age 76 years, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, occurred at St. Paul's Hospital, Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, December 1 st, 1 990. Surviving are her loving family, her husband, Wilt; one sister, Irene (Don) Smith of Genelle, two brothers, Wesley (Gwen) Cobum of Emma Lake, Sask. and Mervin Cobum of Vancouver, B.C.; special cousin, Moma Perrin of Saskatoon and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Anton in 1 978 and three brothers, belbert and Victo-both of Saskatoon and Clarence of Bolton, nt. Mrs. Anton-Gilbey was bom on March 4th, 1914 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She moved to Saskatoon in 1925 and has lived here ever since. She was actively engaged in the Tailoring Trade.

Alma was married to Wilt Gilbey on January 10, 1981. She was a member of the Flebekah Lodge and the Royal Purple. Mrs. Anton-Gilbey was also a volunteer driver tor Meals on Wheels and the Canadian Cancer Society. CISECKI The passing of Mr. Donald Peter Cisecki, age 29 years of Saskatoon, occurred accidentally near Radisson, on Sunday, December 2nd, 1 990.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 6th, 1990 at 10.00 a m. celebrated by Rev. Father Brad Bodnarchuk from St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, 18 33rd Street East, Saskatoon, Sask. Prayers will be held on Wednesday evening, December 5th, 1 990 at 7:00 p.m, from St.

Michael's Roman Catholic Church. Surviving are his loving parents, Morris and Helen Cisecki ot Saskatoon, Sask. one sister, Grace (Roy) Dussault and their children, Jason and Jamie of Warman, two brothers, Denis ot Saskatoon, Dale (Anita) and their son, Justin of Calgary, his grandparents, Mr. Mike and Mrs. Mary Sereda of Rosthem, Sask.

and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Mr. Karpo and Mrs. Eva Cisecki. Donald was bom in Saskatoon, on October 12th, 1961.

He received his elementary schooling at Henry Kelsey School and his high school education at Mount Royal Collegiate. During high school and after graduation he was employed at Ack-lands in tne Parts Department. He then was employed as a Salesman (or Raider Truck Caps of Dnnkwater, Sask. and most recently was a laborer with the C.N.R. He loved the outdoors especially fishing and hunting.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the M.R.I. Campaign, Foundation Office, Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, S7N OXO. Interment will take place in Wood-lawn Catholic Cemetery, Saskatoon, Sask. Arrangements are in care of PARK FUNERAL CHAPEL. NORUM The death of Wilda Ruth Norum, age 63, of Saskatoon occurred on December 1st, 1990.

The Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 8th, 1990 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Paul United Church, 454 Egbert Avenue, Saskatoon, conducted by Rev. Margaret McKechney. Cremation.

Arrangements entrusted to the SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME. KROCHAK Mary (Madarash) passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Home, Saskatoon, on November 30th, 1990 at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Matthew and Thodosia Madarash; her brother, John; her sisters, Anne and Helen; her husband. Harry (1 972); son, Frank (1 941 daughter, Mary (1985); son-in-law, Walter Gamracy (1977); and daught6r-in-law, Nettie (1990).

She is survived by daughters, Olga Gamracy of Rosthem, and Anne (Keith) Porter of Saskatoon; and by sons, Joe (Kae) of Toronto, Steve of Swift Current, Bill of Wynyard, Michael (Marilyn) of Winnipeg, Walter (Lavo-na) ol Brooks, and Nick ot Yorkton; and son-in-law, Joseph Hadabiak of Yorkton; 24 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Mary Krochak was born in the village of Olesha in Buchach in the Ukraine on September 22nd, 1 900. She came to Canada in 1 903 with her parents who homesteaded in the Olesha district north of Buchanan, Sask. Since formal schooling was limited in those years, she received much of her education tram her father, As a young girl, Mary enjoyed helping her father with farm chores. In 1 920 she married Harry Krochak who was employed by the C.

N.R. They lived in the Saskatchewan communities of Tate, Beadle and Leross. After Harrys retirement they continued to live in Leross until 1969 when they moved to Yorkton. After her husbands death, Mary confined to live in Yorkton until the fall ol 1 988 when she moved to St. Volodymyr Villa in Saskatoon.

Because of failing health, she moved to a private care home and later to St. Joseph's Home. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She always had time for her family, friends, neighbors and community. Her church was always an important part of her life.

Her garden and flowers were admired by many and her cross stich and crocheting pieces are treasured by her family and many friends. She enjoyed cooking and baking and setting the table for company, especially when her family came home. Her keen sense ot humour spmted many a family gathering. Other pleasures were playing cards and bingo. While in Yorkton whe was an active member of the U.C.W.L.

Branch 1 and the Yorkton Golden Agers. A Prayer Service, conducted by Father M. Kolodey and Mgsr. R. Luzney, was held at the chapel of St.

volodymyr Villa on December 1st. A Prayer Service was also held at Baileys Funeral Home, Yorkton, on Monday, December 3rd and the Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 4th at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Yorkton, with Fr. John Syrota, CSsR. officiating, assisted by Deacon Michael Krochak, son of the deceased.

Pallbearers will be her sons, Joe, Steve, Bill, Walter, and Nick, and son-in-law, Keith Porter. Cross-bearer will be son-in-law. Joseph Hadubiak. Interment will be In the Yorkton City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Baileys Funeral Home, Yorkton.

"VEECHNAYA PAMYAT" STRUEB The passing of Edward F. Strue-by of St. Mary 's Villa in Humboldt, SK occurred suddenly on December 2, 1990 in the St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Humboldt, SK at the age ot 77 years. Edward was bom on June 22, 1 91 3 on the family farm in Marysburg.

SK to his parents, Frank and Mary Strueby. He took all of his schooling at Marysburg. On November 6, 1935 Edward married Petronella Stroeder. To this union, they were blessed with nine children. Edward started to farm at the early age of 14 years.

He began by pulling his sawing or grinding machines from (arm to farm doing custom work. Farming was his great love and he eventually purchased the family farm and more land nearby and farmed until his retirement in 1988, when they moved to Humboldt, SK. Edward was a resident of St. Mary's Villa for the past two years. He enjoyed old-time music and played the accordion and the mouth organ.

He loved to have visitors, playing cards and playing checkers. He also had a great love for animals especially cattle and dogs. Edward is lovingly remembered by his wife, Petronella ot Humboldt, SK and by their eight children, Reyneldis (Edmund) Hendriks ot Humboldt, SK, Joseph (Cecilia) Strueby of Choiceland, SK, Genevieve (Wilfred) Maier of Yorkton, SK; Maurice (Rose Marie) Strueby of Muenster, SK, Harold (Darlene) Strueby of Marysburg, SK; Allan (Sandra) Strueby of Saskatoon, SK, Gladys (John) Benning of Burr, SK and Edward L. He came to Canada when he was nine months old and the family homestead in the Leask, Saskatchewan area. Bob attended Bramshot Elementary School and later took his High School in Prince Albert.

He joined the Royal Canadian Airforce in 1 939 and was the first Canadian Airman to set foot in England. In 1944, Bob met and married Elizabeth Jane Gilroy while still senring in England. Upon returning home following the War, Bob was employed as an accountant for the Veterans Land Act, later was employed by Piggott construction, Remai Construction and was recently a partner in Wescan Underground Services. He was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, a Life Member of the Hub City Cosmopolitan Club. Bob was an avid sports tan and enjoyed golfing and watching hockey.

Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and true friend to all who knew and loved him. Cremation will take place following the Funeral Liturgy. Mike was bom in Fish Creek, in 1 908 and moved with his parents to the Hafford District in 1910. After completing his high school, he attended the Moose Jaw Normal School in 1 927 and spent ten years in the teaching profession. With the exception ot his four years with the Saskatchewan Assessment Commission, Mike was employed as a R.M.

Secretary Treasurer ot Redberry (Hafford, Saskatchewan) for six years, and King George (Dinsmore, Saskatchewan) for 22 years, also Mike was one of the founders of the Credit Union in both communities. Mike and his wife Ann (nee Sulaty-sky) of 57 years, retired in 1972 and were snowbirds to Arizona tor the past eighteen years. He was an avid sportsman and continued to enjoy golfing and schuffleboard. He was always a "people person, gave generously of himself to his family and community. Mike was on the Roselown Health Region Board for many years and served several terms as Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star (Dinsmore, Saskatchewan) He had dedicated himself to the work of Alcoholic's Anonymous for over thirty years, and in his retirement contluned to extend a helping hand to others.
