Leonard was bom on September 30th, 1923 at Elbow, Sask.

where he grew up and took his schooling. He then joined the Army. After the war he worked at various jobs ending up at Cominco Potash Mines, where he worked for 1 9 years and then retired. Surviving are his loving family; four daughters, 'Rose (Randy) Molofee of St. Albert, Dianne (Bentley) Coben of Tessier, Sheila (Jim) Zavlanos of North Battleford, and Deb (Neil) Purdy of Saskatoon, six grandchildren, Jeff and Sean Molofee, Jason and Blake Coben and Chris and T.J.

Zavlanos; five sisters; three brothers; brother and sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Ger-maine; his father Anton and mother, Stella and a sister Mary Lawson. Leonard will be sadly missed for his quick wit and great fishing stones. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at the Delisle Town Hall with Rev.

Blaire Whyte officiating. Interment will follow at Delisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be deeply appreciated. OUTLOOK FUNERAL CHAPEL are in care of arrangements. BOND The death of Francis (Frank) B.

Bond age 65 years of Saskatoon occurred in a local hospital on Wednesday, June 27th, 1990. The Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, July 3rd at 2:00 p.m. from Third Avenue United Church conducted by Rev. Dr. A.

Minarcik. (In lieu of flowers, donations to the Third Avenue United Church "Wheelchair Lift 304 Third Avenue Saskatoon, would be appreciated by the family). Surviving are his loving wite, Ruth; daughters, Kathy (Ed) Spratt, Egypt; grandchildren, Colin and Nicola Tabb and their father, Robin Tabb; Fran (Bob) Porat and their children, Jason and Christine; Ruth (Don) Parenteau and their children, Marc and Andrea; Barb Bond of Winnipeg and Bonnie (Otto) Rachor and their son, Derrick; brothers, John (Betty) Bond of Saskatoon and Tom (Dorothy) Bond ot Richmond, B.C. and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Emlyn Bond and a son, Kenneth Bond.

Frank was born in Readlyn, grew up in Leask and in 1 944 at the age of 20 enlisted in the R.C.N.V.R. In Halifax he met Ruth Cousins and they were married on July 2nd, 1 945. They moved to Saskatoon where Frank attended the University of Saskatchewan in the College of Agriculture. He spent 1 7 years in the poultry business and 25 years with Sherritt Fertilizer Marketing until his retirement in January, 1989. Frank was instrumental in setting up a Safety Program for "Anhydrous Ammonia" through the Western Canada Fertilizer Association and was the recipient of the President Award for his support of the Western Fertilizer and Chemical Dealers Association.

As a reflection of his commitment to the community, Frank was Past President of the Junior Chamber of Commerce; Past President of the Navy League of Canada, Saskatchewan Division; served on the Board of Directors of both the Board of Trade and the Exhibition Board; a member of the Log Cabin Investment Club, the Nutana Legion and the A.C.T. Frank was a "Big Brother" for eight years to John McAulay who continues to be close to the family. Religion was a very important part of his life and for 35 years was a member of Third Avenue United Church where he was active on the board of Stewards. Because he loved the outdoors, he received much pleasure trom time spent at Emerald Lake. His family was always his first priority and Frank will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Service arrangements have been entrusted to the SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME. LANG The death of John Lang, age 72 years, of Saskatoon, occurred suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, June 27th, 1 990. Surviving are his daughter, Dale (Barry) Napier of Saskatoon; two grand-daughters, Lisa and Shen; sister, Ruby (John) Capstick of Saskatoon; brother, Albert (Georgie) Lang of Kelowna, B.C. and sister-in-law, Edna Lang of Biggar, Sask. He was predeceased by his parents.

Nellie and Thomas; his wife Dorothy in 1 982 and one brother, Thomas in 1 972. Mr. Lang was born, raised and educated in Biggar, Sask. John enpyed the sport of hockey. He started working with SaskTel in 1940.

In 1942 he served overseas with R.C.A.F. until 1945 when he returned to work with SaskTel. John retired from SaskTel in 1 980. He was a member of the Saskatoon Gotf and Country Club and Bethel United Church. In 1977 John was awarded the Commemorative Medal to mark the Queen's Silver Jubilee lor longstanding service at SaskTel.

John's greatest pride and joy were his two grand-daughters. He was a man who had a great love of animals and nature. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 392 103rd Street East, Saskatoon, S7N 1Y9 or Heart and Stroke Fund, 279 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, S7K 9Z9. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 30th, 1990 at 10:00 a.m. from Bethel United Church, 1145 5th Street East, conducted by Rev.

She was predeceased by her parents, Gordon 1 985 and Edna 1 989 Carol was born ucto- ber 5th, 1944 and grew up on a farm near Viscount. She took her early schooling there in Viscount and then continued at the Lutheran Collegiate Bible Institute at Outlook, Sask.

Shortly after graduating she worked in the X-Ray Department at the Medical Arts Building. After several years, she started a new position in October of 1974 at Saskatchewan Government Insurance where she worked until her passing. During her work at SGI, Carol lived in both Saskatoon and Yorkton. At each city, she accumulated many friends through both her work and church. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m.

on Saturday, June301h, 1990 with Pastor Richard Zimmerman officiating from the St. John Lutheran Church, Viscount located 4 and a half miles north of Junction 2 and 1 6 and then 3 miles east. The Funeral Service will be held from the Wakaw United Church on Monday, July 2nd, 1 990 at 2:00 p.m., with Miss Pat Dyson officiating. The late Mrs.

Rudiechuk was born to Michael and Agnes Beskal on February 16th, 1909 in Prud'homme, Sask. Lett to mourn her passing are her loving husband, Nick; one brother, Metro Beskal, Cud-Worth, five sisters, Mary Dutchak Wakaw, Ann Sisetski, Hamilton, Ontario; Nickey Keen, Hamilton, Ontario, Tina (Mike) Olexon, Wakaw, and Barbara (Alex) Slobodian, Cudworth, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, one sister-in-law, Rose Beskal. Pallbearers will be Daryl Jackson, Bryce Jackson, Ronald Slobodian, Michael Slobodian, Paul Dutchak, and Bill Dutchak. Interment will take place in the Wakaw United Church Cemetery.

KUSHNERYK FUNERAL HOME of Wakaw is in care of arrangements. PETTY Sarah-Ann (Sadie) (nee Nash), age 72 years, entered the Heavenly Realm on Wednesday, June 27th, 1990, ending a prolonged and valiant battle against emphysema. Predeceased by husband, Francis (Frank) II Michael Petty, April 26th, 1 976; father, Joseph Nash; mother, Violet Gray (Stead); and mother-in-law, Mabel Georgena (Rabbitts); and father-in-law, Francis (Frank) I Petty of Paynton, Sask. Survived by daughters, Ken-dra Violet Petty and Georgena Sarah Petty (Sil); son, Francis (Frank) III Patrick Petty; grandchildren, Joel Dylan Frank IV Petty and Natasha Marie Bianca Petty; ex-daughter-in-law, Sandra Lynn Vernon, all of Saskatoon; sister, Thelma Florence KayHesketh; niece and nephew-in-law, Florence (Kay) and Vernon Grossmueller; and great-nephews, Ronald and Christopher; and great-niece, Karen Grossmueller, all of Winnipeg; ex-brother-in-law, Geoffrey Hesketh of Vernon, B.C.; niece and nephew-in-law, Iris (Hesketh) and Douglas Boles, and great-nephews, Michael and Cory Boles, all of Martensville; nephew, Andrew Hesketh of Medicine Hat, Alberta; brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Muriel Nash and th'eir children and grandchildren; and numerous other relatives. Born August 12th, 1917 in Winnipeg, she travelled to Britain on a warship at age six weeks, spending some childhood in London, Manchester, and Hull, England.

Later, her family re-immigrated to Canada, settling on a Prairie farm near Neepawa, Man. While single in Winnipeg, she had gloriously sung ecclesiastical oratorios in cathedral choirs and operettas in public productions, and played classical piano and pipe-organ music. She married March 15th, 1948 in Cochenour, Unt. subsequently moving with her family to Unity (October, 1952), La Ronge (March, 1960), and Hudson Bay (February, 1961), finally arriving in Saskatoon, (August 8th, 1965). She had been an active member of the Eastern Star Order, Unity Chapter, companion to her beloved husband in the Grand Masonic Lodge.

A talented tailorseamstress and an ardent reader she had cordially bestowed rainbows of affection, generosity, and compassion upon countless lives. Instead of flowers, memorial donations to the City Hospital Foundation, Lung Fund, Heart and stroke Fund, or to a charity ofchoice would be appreciated. Cremation. A. (Nettie) Douma of Cal gary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Wednesday, June 27th, 1 990 at the age ot 84 years. She is survived oy one son and daughter-in-law, Dewey and Pauline Douma of Calgary, four grandchildren: Yvonne Lynne of Vancouver, B.C., Raymond Michael of Calgary, Allan and Adele both of Saskatoon and one great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, John in 1988; one son, Wayne in 1964; her daughter, Thelma in 1942 and by one sister and three brothers all in the U.S.A. Mrs.

Douma was bom in Galesburg, Iowa, U.S.A. in 1905 and attended school in Munroe, Iowa. She moved to Saskatchewan and married John in 1 930. They farmed in the Wiseton and Conquest areas in Saskatchewan until they moved to Saskatoon in 194b. in iss sne moved to Calqarv where she resided at the Amytorne Trailer Park until 1989 when she moved to the tibow valley Loage.

HAM WOOD The passing of Garth Allinson Hartiwood age 78 years of Kerrobert, Saskatchewan occurred on June 14, 1990 at Kerrobert Union Hospital. He leaves to mourn his brother-in-law George Cunnings of Kerrobert; two nieces Bonnie Krenz and husband George of Eston, Saskatchewan and Kay Petch and husband Larry ot Nepean, Ontario; one great niece Loralie Sturgess and husband Jim and family, Dustin and Chantel of Na-panee, Ontario; four great nephews, Brian Krenz of Eston, Saskatchewan, Mark Kyle and Blake Petch of Nepean, Ontario. He was predeceased by his father Arthur Hamwood in 1934, his mother Sophia Hamwood in 1975, his brother Beverley Hamwood in 1 982 and his sister Inez Cunnings in 1989. Garth was born April 14, 1912 in Grey County, Township of Collingwood, Ontario and came west as an infant and grew up with the country. He attended Algoma school and helped with the farming.

In 1934 Garth started working for Kerrobert Rural Telephones and retired in 1 974. He lived on the farm until 1954 at which time he moved into Kerrobert and continued to farm until this spring. Garth was a member of the Kerrobert Masonic Lodge 90 A.F. A.M. and Past District Deputy of District 1 3.

He enjoyed hunting, trap shooting and square dancing. Funeral Service for Garth Hamwood was held June 19. 1990 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kerrobert United Church with Pastor Derek Gregory officiating. Honorary Pallbearers were Ray Doll, Gordon Etsell.

The late Mr. Missura was bom in St. Julten, on June 29th, 1912 and took his schooling at St. Julian. He married Emily Mtchayluk on October 21 st, 1 934 and they farmed in the St.

Jullen district until their retirement in 1967 at which time they moved to Saskatoon and have resided here since. He was treasurer ot tt, Julien Ukrainian Orthodox Church for many years and was an agent for Mennonite Hail Insurance for over forty years. Mr. Missura had also been an active member ot Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral since moving to Saskatoon.
