She leaves to mourn her loving husband Albert (Bert); one son Raymond (Barb) of Edmonton; threegrandchildren, Charity, Rae Ann, Aaron her brother Marshal I Berna Johnson of Perdue; brother-in-law, Ogden (Helen) Porter; sister-in-law Gwladys (Edward) Huard both of Haileybury.Ont; andnumerousnlecesand nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Aimer In 1967 and Alice in 1978 Johnson of Kinley, Sask. The Funeral Services will be held in Kinley United Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26th, 1989 with interment in Wheat Field Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Cancer Funds would be appreciated.

WESEEN The death of Marvin Ellsworth Weseen, age 76 yearsof Naicam, occurred on May 23rd, 1989 at Melfort Union Hospital. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 27th at 2:00 p.m. a Bethany United Church in Naicam, conducted by Mr. George Edmonds. Surviving are: his son, James; daughter-in-law, Wendy; three grandchildren, Kathleen, Robin and Simon; brothers, Harris, Lester, Bill and George; sisters, Hazel (Anderson) Anna May (Engedahl).

Marvin was predeceased by: his wife, Isabel (1973); sister, Adelaide; and brothers, Forrest and Arnold. Marvin was born on November 3rd, 191 2 and spent all of his life in the Naicam district. BEGINS ON PAGE 07 MY PHONE NUMBER IS 30 ANNOUNCEMENTS THIESSEN The death of Peter J. Thiessen, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, occurred in St. Paul's hospital on Wednesday, May 24th, 1989. Surviving are his wife, Lillian of Saskatoon; three daughters, Mrs. Dianne Lloyd) Scaddanof Saskatoon and their children, Dave and Kelty, Mrs.

Janice (Jim) Feeder of Athabasca, Alta, and their children Matt, Susan and Claire and Mrs. Wendy (Michael) Wieder of Regina, three sisters-in-law, Mrs, Ann Thiessen of St. Catherines, Mrs. Sue Thiessen of Steinbach, Man. and Mrs.

Esther Thiessenof Vauxhall, one brother George (Elizabeth) of Kelowna, B.C. and one tyother-in-law Cornelius Unger of Chilliwack, B.C. Predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Mary Dauther, Sharon in 1953, sister Mary Unger and brothers, Henry, Jacob and John. Mr. Thiessen was born in Kistande, Russia on June 3rd, 1912.

He immigrated with his parents to Canada in 1926 and settled in the Borden area. As a young man Peter was engaged in the field of agriculture until he was employed by Weiler and Williams Livestock Commission Co. until 1943. Pete joined the Army in 1943 and wasdischarged in 1947 as Sergeant Maior in the Canadian Army IntelligenceCorps. Peter married Lillian Benton on September 7th, 1943.

Peter operated a feedlot in Saskatoon from 1947-1963. In 1963 he graduated brom the Reisch School of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa. He operated his own auction company in Northern Saskatchewan until 1980 when he became semi-retired. He was always available to auction for charities and especially for the Association for the Mentally Retarded. Peter was a member of the Sask.

Auctioneers Association, a long standing member of the United Commercial Travellers and a member of Bethel United Church. In his earlier years he enioved hunting big game and game birds. He was an avid fisherman and especially emoyed his fall trips to fish for salmon inthe Fraser River at Chilliwack, B.C. Peter was always an enthusiastic gardener. In the last 12 years Peter and Lillian enioyed a number of overseas trips and winter hoi idays to warmer cl i mates.

Peter was a charter member of the Hub City Wonderers ratter Club in Saskatoon and got a great deal ot enjoyment from their summer outings. BALDWIN The death of Louis Victor Baldwin, age 87 years of Saskatoon occurred in a local hospital on Friday, May 19th, 1989. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 26th at 3:30 p.m.

from the Chapel of Saskatoon Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Duncan McLean. Memorial donations of the donor's choice will be appreciated in lieu of flowers. Mr. Baldwin was born to Arthur Ernest and Charlotte Mary Baldwin on March 29th, 1902 in Weston-Super-Mare, England.

In 1912, the Baldwins immigrated to Canada and Saskatoon where he completed his education. Mr. Baldwin was employed with the Star Phoenix as a Compositor and in 1932, he left the Star Phoenix and purchased a farm near Langham, Saskatchewan. He farmed until his retirement in 1968 when he came to make his home in Saskatoon. Left to mourn his passingare three nephews Gary (Shir'ey) Baldwin of White Rock, B.C., George Stewart of Vawn, Sask.

and Jack Stewart of Meota, Sask three nieces Shirley (John) Hoiland of Arborfield, Sask, Fay Ron) Baldwin of Swift Current, Sask. and Dorothy (Delbert) Mitchell of Edmonton, Alta, and several great nephews and nieces. Mr. Baldwin was predeceased by his parents, his brother Frederick Arthur and his sister Kathleen Mary Stewart. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Surviving are his two daughters, Bonnie (Barry) Engdahl of Lintlaw, Sask. and Bev. MacSorley of Saskatoon; three sons, Mel (Carmen) of Saskatoon, Bob (Connie) of Craven, Sask. and AI (Margaret) of Saskatoon; seven grandchildren; one sister Vera (Lawrence) Jones of Saskatoon and two brothers, Edwin Ef-fie) of Saskatoon and Ivan (Mae) of Saskatoon. Predeceased bv parents, John and Carrie; wife, Edith and brother, Bill.

Mr. MacSorley wasborn and raised in the Eagle Creek District. He was married at Viscount and moved to Unity where he opened a Plumbing Shop. He moved to Saskatoon and Viscount in his later years. Gordon's greatest ioys came from his grandchildren.

He also enioyed the chuckwagon races. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Intensive Care Unit, co University Hospital, Saskatoon, 0X0. The Funeral Service will beheld on Friday, May 26th, 1989 at 1:30 p.m. from the Chapel of McKAGUE'S FUNERAL CHAPELS, conducted by Rev. JimMcKay.

The Prayer Service will be held on Friday, May 26th, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. from Scharf's Funeral Chapel, Humboldt, Sask. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 27th, 1 989 at 1 0 00 a.m. from St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Humboldt, Sask.

Rev. Fr. Leo Hinz O.S.B. will be Celebrant of the Mass. Cremation to follow.

A private family interment of cremains will follow at a later date. Harold is survived by his loving wife, Agnes of Saskatoon; his sister, Shirley (Allan) Geiger of Regina; two brothers, Gerald, (Fran) Beck of Regina, Earl Beck of Nanoose, B.C.; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Beck and one brother, Arnold.

Harold was with the C.N. for 39 years located at various Places and retired In Winnipeg. Harold and Agnes moved to Saskatoon after his retirement in 1982. Harold was a long time member of the Rotary Club, a life member of C.I.T.L., and a member of the C.N. Pension Club.

Harold also served on the Melfort Town Council. He was an avid golfer, and enioved all sports. Memorial Donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Heart Foundation or the St. Augustine R.C. Church Building Fund.

Francis Xavier University in Antigonish. The Government of Saskatchewan recognized his contributions to the Province by naming thegeo-graphical features of Gus Islandand MacDonald Channel at Otter Lake in 165. She was then associated with two local Business Colleges in Saskatoon. She married Rupert Mahood in Saskatoon and she continued working for the Business College for many years.

She retired in 1970. She had resided here until her passing. She was a long time member of Mayfair United Church. She enioved her family, her home, and her garden. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family and triends.

She was predeceased by her father, Louis McMahon in 1959. The late Mrs. Bomersbach was born and raised in Charlottetown, P.E.I. She received her educator! in Charlottetown and graduated from Notre Dame Convent there. She moved to Saskatoon in 1953 and had lived here since that time.

She married her husband Conrad in 1955. Mrs. Bomersbach was employed with the Federal Government until she began her work with the Saskatoon Catholic Schools in 1969. She spent many years at St, Edward School where she hod a wonderful relationship with the students until her retirement in 1988. She was a member of St.

Michaels Parish and later of St. Pauls Cathedral Parish and a member of the Catnolic Womens League. Mrs. Bomersbach was with her husband active in the Elks Lodge and the M.C S. Unicorn Chiefsand Petty Officers Association Memorial donations to the Candian Cancer Society, 1036 College Drive, Saskatoon, S7N 0W1 would beappreciated by the family.

In 1974 he started working at Robin Hood Mills and later that year he married Sandy Orlowski and continuted working at Robin Hood Millsuntil his illness from Anytrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
