McPHEE Marina (nee Robinson) passed away peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital on Mon- day, November 20, 2000. Marina leaves to, mourn, her loving husband, Al; two sons, Kevin "(irsten) of Saskatoon and Rob (Diane) of. haska, Minnesota; three daughters, Kristine (Colin) McIntyre of Calgary, Ann (Brett) Hen- schel of Dawson Creek, BC and Lisa (Bob)' Brisebols of Saskatoon; thirteen three brothers, Des (Sheila), Allie (Colleen)" and Jack (Mary); one sister, Betty (Ron) Seguln; one sister-in-law, Doris; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Leslie and Marguerite Robinson; four brothers, Loyola, Bernard, Denis and Gerard; and by her sister, Catherine.

Marina was born June 9, 1 937 and married Al In July of 1960. They lived In the Ottawa-Montreal area before moving with her family to Saskatoon In December ot 1979. Marina worked as secretary of St. Mary's Parish and St. Paul's Cathedral and retired from the Marriage Tribunal In 1998.

Jo was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Mary Tomlenovich; husband, Matthew; son, Norbert; sisters, Katie Milne, Annie Sarlch and Lucy Sarich; and brother, Joseph Tomlenovich. Josephine graduated from Normal School In Saskatoon In 1933.

She taught In rural Saskatchewan until marrying Matthew In 1939. Residing In Kenas-ton, Matthew passed dway in 1961 Jo moved her family to Saskatoon In 1966. She will be missed by her friends at Scott-Forget Senior Residence. Her postal worker friends called her "a most authentic Lady" and we all agree The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2000 at 1 2:00 noon from St. Philip Nerl Roman Catholic Church with Rev.

ZUBIAK Joanna (nee Nedbaluk), age 94 years, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2000. Born In Wereshnikici, Borchczlw, Ukraine on September 18. 1906 she Immigrated to Canada on a wintry day In 1924 ana settled In Shellbrook with people she didnt know, In a new country, with no family nearby. In 1925 she married Alexander Zublak and they lived In Hawkeye, Ituna, Sliver Park and Melfort. She came to Saskatoon In 1998 to live at St.

George's Senior Citizens' Residence until her last ten days which were spent In St. Joseph's Home. As a pioneer, she was wife, mother, homemaker, doctor, businesswoman, seamstress, gardener and cook. When she wasnt doing one of those things, she loved to play cards, crochet and knit. Just last year she completed three large crocheted tablecloths.

Joanna was predeceased by her parents In Ukraine; one sister and one brother In Canada; her husband, Alex; son-in-law, Al Miller; granddaughter, Brenda Hoffart; and grandson, Ken Zacher. She leaves to mourn, her children, Carol Zublak (Bert Dean), Elsie (Larry) Brazer, Walter (Elizabeth) Zublak, Mike (Erlcka) Zublak, Anne (George) Zacher' and Ellen Miller; ten grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Special thanks are due to Drs. R. Balakrlshna and B.

Krochak and the Ukrainian Sisters of St. Joseph, nurses and staff at St. Joseph's Home. Memorial donations made to St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral.

ANDERSON The passing of Vera Amelia Anderson of Saskatoon, occurred at City Hospital on Monday, November 20, 2000. Dr. Ivan Wilson from Knox United Church, 838 Spadlna Crescent East. Vera Amelia was born In Red-vers, SK on August 7, 1915. She received her B.A. degree In T938 from Wesley College (now the oT Winnipeg) and began teaching.

She had the opportunity to move to Ottawa durlnc the war to work for the Federal Government and later went on to earn a diploma In Social Work for McGill University In Montreal. She moved bdek to Saskatchewan to begin a career In Social Work In Prince Albert, where she met and married Edwin Zacharlas Anderson. They moved to Saskatoon In 1967 where she continued her career. Vera was very generous to everyone she knew. She was an active member of her community, giving countless hours to many causes.

She loved her famll unconditionally and enjoyed her grandchil dren Immensely. She was an active, capable woman until her passing. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin In 1971; son, Brian In 1997; and brother, Ben In 1997. She will be missed by her sons, Robert (Tracey) and Bruce; grandchildren, Sarah, Ryan and Klerstln Anderson and Trevor Code; sisters, Kay Bright of Mlnnedosa, MB, June Tweten of Minot, SOLAR Dora passed away peacefully No--vember 21 at Heritage Manor In Kindersley. the age of 92 years.

Predeceased by her husband, Paul In August, 1 998; and her brother, Charlie Kowbllck In April 2000. She Is survived by her daughter, Marie (Wayne) Muyres, Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Angela (Darcy) Lucyk, Anthony and Allan Muyres; greatgrandchildren, Erin, Cdssandra and Brittany Lucyk; brothers, Nick (Maude) Kowbllck, Mel-1 fort, SK, Mike (Lorraine) Kowbllck, Saskatoon, SK; sisters, Maggie Almacht, Saskatoon, SK and Ann Prime, Saskatoon, SK; sister-in-law, Sylvia Kowbllck, Saskatoon, SK; as well as many nieces and nephews. SEARIGHT Margaret Ann Searlght of Mllden piassed away peacefully at Western Senior Citizen Home In Leader on November 20, 2000 at the age of 92. Margaret was born In Rothes Scotland on September 23, 1908. Her father came to Canada to make a better life for his family. In April of 1 91 6, her mother, with Margaret and her two brothers, John and Alex came across on a troop ship.

They Joined her father and settled In Saskatoon. After graduating from business school, she went to work for the Arctic Ice Company. In 1937 she married Gilbert Searlght and helped him raise Galle and Erik. She Joined the Angllcdn Church and was an active ACW member. She and Gil care lor Margaret's mother until her death.

Gilbert and Margaret celebrated 51 years of marriage. Most of her life In Mllden was devoted to caring for Gilbert. She was a collector and kept many mementos, clippings, pictures and the like tor events that Involved her, her family, her friends dnd her community Illness forced Margaret to leave her home In Mllden and move to Leader to the Western Senior Home where her granddaughter cared (or her. Margaret Is predeceased by her husband, Gilbert; stepson, Galle; and brothers, Alex and Geordle. She Is survived by her brother, John of Moose Jaw; daughter-in-law Peggy Searlght ot Saskatoon; stepson, Erik Searlght of Burnaby, BC; her granddaughters, Beth (Don) Millar of Edmonton, Diane (Ron) Palmer of Eatonla, Mary Jean (Peter) Whiteman of Regina; her great-grandchildren, Carrie Gates of Saskatoon, Lisa Palmer of Meadow Lake, Trlcla Palmer of Edinburgh, Scotland, Naomi Gates ot Kindersley, Shaun Palmer of Saskatoon, Keith Whiteman of Regina.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 24 at 2 00 p.m. In St. John's Anglican Church In Mllden. Interment to follow ot Mllden Cemetery. In lieu ot flowers, donations may be made to Mllden Cemetery Fund or Western Senior Citizen Home In Leoder.

STEBBINGS Mary Isabelle (nee Elder) of Delta, BC, passed away after a brave and courageous battle with cancer on November 1 7, 2000. Malsle was born on December 30, 1915 In Asquith, SK. Moving to Saskatoon at an early age. She was predeceased by her husband, Sidney: dnd brothers, Jim, Cliff, Charlie and Harold, Malsle Is survived by her loving family, brother, Jack; sons. Bob (Linda) and Bill (Barb); grandsons, Bruce, Scott, Mark, Jeff, Kevin and ryan; great-grandson, Jacob; as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Malsle will be remembered ds an outstanding softball pitcher In her younger years, a devoted wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. Her love of sports continued throughout her life and Mqisle could dlways be found cheering on her children and grandchildren at ball parks, hockey rinks, basketball courts, or golf courses. Sne will be dearly missed by all.
