It is with sadness, the family announces the sudden passing of Betty Can-nam on June 21 2001 at Royal University Hospital She is survived by her loving husband, Arnold, to whom she was happily married for flf-ty-five years; son Les (Irene); and their children Scott (Allison), Chelsea, Danielle, Marlin; daughter, Gail (Peter) Fehr, and their children, Jodi (Kevin) Abrey, April (Loren) Hagerty, and Amy, and two great-grandchildren; twin sister, Peggy McDougall and sister-in-law, Margaret Evans. She was predeceased by her eldest son, Ronald in 1968, and brothers Victor and Leonard Betty was born In Stony Plain, SK, on July 1 3, 1 922 She was raised and educated In Regina and served In the Canadian Women's Army Corps during World War II. She married Arnold on June 24, 1944, in Regina; she spent sixteen (16) years In Kenaston, then spent several years In Saskatoon, Bellville, ON, and Calgary before retiring to Saskatoon In 1983 where she resided until her passing on June 21, 2001 After raising her family, she held various jobs with the Federal Civil Service; she was a mem a. -cvaa WALKER Wilbur Shannon 1914-2001.

With peace, faith and courage, Wilbur passed away on June 22, 2001 at City Hospital In Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 87 years. He was born March 16, 1914 In the Langham area. He grew up with a passion for farming, family, hunting, fishing and friends. In 1939. he married Ruby lalng and they began building a life together on the farm where They raised six children.

Throughout the years, Wilbur enjoyed many activities travelling, playing cribbage, dancing, catching big fish, hunting, gardening, growing flowers, checking the crops, eating Ruby's homemade pies, playing violin, listening to old time music, and spending time with friends. As his kids grew up and had families of their own, Wilbur loved having them come to visit, and he adored his eleven grandchildren. Wilbur will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife Ruby; children Myrla (Jerry) Koenderlnk, Lorraine Walker (Al Hill), Ted (Sandra) Walker, Diane (Murray) Little, Doreen Walker, Murray Walker (Jill Turner); grandchildren Chris (Lorena) Frlesen, Jean nyler) Moore, Tim Frlesen; Craig, Scott and Cynthia Walker; Allison, Thomas and Shannon Walker; sister Ina (Ford) Perry and family; niece Beth (Jim) Klyne and family; and many friends. Funeral services will be held at First Saskatchewan Lutheran Church near Langham on Tuesday, June 26 at 3pm. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

I A ROBB Wallace (Wally). It Is with great sad- ness the family announces the deaTh of Walt Robb on Friday June 22, 2001 at his residence In Saskatoon. The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 26, 2001 at 2:00 pm at Trinity United Church In Montgomery Place conducted by Rev. Arlene Reynolds. Mr, Robb is survived by his loving family: his wife Lois, three daughters Judy (Ken) Dobchuk, Sandra Meyers, Wendy (Gene) Hartman, four grandchildren, Wally Dobchuk, Denny Meyers, Cassle Meyers and Mitchell Hartman.

He was predeceased by his parents Ken and Peggy Robb and two brothers Fred and Murray. Wally was born February 10, 1925 In Regina, attended School In Prince Albert, He served In the navy during WWII. Wally married Lois McConnell May 1 7, 1946. He retired from CNR after 39 years. He was an avid golfer and curler and enjoyed the cottage at Lower Fishing Lake.

Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery. Also survived by sisters Ruby Arnason of Penticton, BC, Pat (Frank) Hutchings of Regina, Helen Bronam (Ed) of Kamloops, BC, Jewel Nixon of Cobourg, Olive (Clarence) Jordon of Kamloops, BC, and Grace (Raymond) Jacobs of Redding, California; brother Bill (Ester) Ford of Saskatoon; as well as many nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by parents George and Anne Ford, twin sister Kathleen and sister Marl. Bud was born In 1 926 at Bures, SK. He spent his younger years on the farm helping his parents with the numerous chores to be done. From there he went to Weyburn, SK to work at the mental hostlpal. He then traveled to Trail, BC where he worked In the smelter and studied hedvy-duty mechanics through correspondence.

Bud and Olga were married at Trail, BC on June 1 1 948. The next five years were spent working at heavy-duty mechanics with R.J Fyfe. From there he went to work for Cummins Mid Canada qnd was transferred to Saskatoon to manage their new shop. Bud retired In 1970 due to III health and spent his time building various projects, working around the yard and flowers, donations will be gratefully received by the Arthritis Society, 105, 310 Idylwyld Drive North, Saskatoon, SK S7L 0Z2 (244-9922). The Funeral will be held at McClure United Church, Taylor and McKercher, on Monday, June 25, 2001, at 1 1 a.m.

It Is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Vlctorlno on Friday June 22, 2001 Vlctorlno Balros Reis was born on February 29, 1928 In Santa Barbara Santa Maria Acores, He Immigrated to Saskatoon In December of 1960 where he lived a full and dctive life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Victor lived for his children, always there when needed, his love knew no bounds, He was a humble man, knew simple ways but his knowledge of life and people was endless. He died peacefully at home as was his wish to be near his loved ones. He always said If you never cry you can never learn to He fought a good fight and he died with his dignity.
