Park and his team of third Tony Germsheid, second Ron Engles and lead Rob Petersen earned $9,000. In the semi-finals, Martin beat Kevin Koe of Calgary 9u0 in five ends and Park defeated Bruce Korte of Saskatoon 6-5. Koe and Korte each won $6,000. Swenson downs Hritzuk Wayne Sw'enson defeated Eugene Hritzuk 4-1 Sunday in the championship final of the Senior Men's Bonspiel at the Hub City Curling Club. Swenson picked up $3,200 for the win.

Hritzuk won $1,600. Correction Monday's playbill announced the high school girls volleyball city championship being played Monday night. To clarify, it was the frosh girls city championship being held at Bishop Mahoney, not the senior championship. The senior girls and boys volleyball finals are scheduled for Nov. 8.

Pitchers clean up on league awards The Saskatoon Outlaws have a couple of clean-up men. After helping the Outlaws win the Saskatoon Senior Baseball League championship, pitchers Jason Lindberg and Sheldon Sawatzky cleaned up at the awards table, too. Lindberg was named league and play-olf MVP in addition to winning the home run title with nine dingers. Sawatzky won pitching aw'ards for posting the most wins (five) and the lowest ERA (0.75). Teammate Scott Forrest got the defensive award while Corey Borthwick of the Clams won the batting title with a .5 16 average.

Kellen Foreman of the Red Sox was nxfkie-of-the-year and Marianne Hladun won the dedication and desire award. The SSBL all-star team consists of pitchers Sawatzky and Kai McKinstry (Nationals), catcher Derek Houle of the pennant-winning Yellow Jackets, first baseman Dustin Emberley (Yellow Jackets), second baseman Wade Friesen (Yellow Jackets), third baseman Paul Mc-Tavish (Clams), shortstop Kevin Sawatzky (Nationals), and outfielders Borthwick, Jeff Stevenson (Outlaws) and Mark Hanson (Red Sox).
