SK passed away peacefully Into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Sunday. February 10, 2002 at the age of 73 years He is survived by his loving wife, Josephine, two daughters, Charmaine (Brent) Houghton of Wetasklwln, AB and Patty (Dave) Thiessen of Watrous, SK, four grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristen, Kyle and Kendra, two brothers and two sisters. Ron (Carol), Allan (Esther), Stella Rempel and Dorothy Peters all of Lang-ham, two step-brothers and two step-sisters, David (Frieda) Olfert of Outlook, SK, Clarence (Esther) Olfert of Wolf Point, Montana, Marie (Paul) Dahlenburg of Mountain Lake, Minnesota and Edna (Ed) Enzl of Bismark, North Dakota, numerous nieces and nephews, and many long-time friends Ed was predeceased by his parents Abram and Anna Peters, his step-father David Olfert, one brother-in-law, Henry Rempel, and one step-sister, Sarah Dyck Ed grew up In the Langham, SK area He married Josephine Dirks on July 25, 1958 and together they built a home and a family over the past 43 years He farmed in the Dalmeny area for several years before finding his niche as a mechanic, working first at the John Deere dealership In Radlsson and then at Merlin Motors In Saskatoon for just over 15 years Ed's health began to deteriorate in 1990, first with a serious heart attack and then a severe stroke He moved into Central Haven Nursing Home shortly after, where he lived until his passing Ed enjoyed living at Central Haven and was a favorite resident with many of the staff Our sincere thanks and appreciation to each one who lovingly cared for him over the past 10 years Ed was a gentle and caring man He always maintained a positive attitude and approach to life He will be forever missed and remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend The legacy Ed leaves Is his love and commitment to the Lord and to those he loved A Celebration of Ed's life will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at 2 00 at Westmount Evangelical Church, 802 Ave North, Saskatoon, SK Interment will follow at Hlllcrest Memorial Gardens In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideon's Arrangements entrusted to SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME 244-5577 THUNSTROM The passing of Pauline Thun-strom, formerly of Macrorie, SK occurred on Sunday, February 10, 2002 at the Outlook and District Pioneer Home, at the age ot 90 years Pauline Is survived by her family, Lyle (Ellen) Thunstrom and Floyd (Dee) Thunstrom, both of Macrorie, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Doris Thunstrom of Macrorie, sister, Arlene (Milo) Boxrud of Chase, BC, and numerous nieces and nephews She was predeceased by her husband, Elmo, her son, Eldon, her parents, Charles and Haddie Thompson; and sister, Darlene Proels. Elizabeth Tracy was born March 7, 1922 In Bruno to George and Rose Gerling Her working career Included cooking In restaurants and on road construction crews, then onto cashier at Economy and lastly as receptionist at City Hall where she remained until her retirement Elsie enjoyed dancing, gardening, cooking, and baking They travelled extensively and spent numerous winters In Victoria For many years their summers were spent at Turtle Lake where they made many lifelong friends Many thanks to Dr, Nauglar, the nursing staff, the RN, LPN aids, housecleaning and cooks for their kind- ness, patience and unlimited time spent with Elsie while at Stensrud Lodge. ORCHARD Mr Keith Orchard, a lifetime Borden farmer and family man passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 10, 2002 after a long and very courageous battle with Illness Keith was born October 22, 1940 In Borden, SK to Gorden and Kathleen Orchard. In 1962 he married Irene Breltkreltz and they farmed and raised chinchillas for thirty-two years.

Keith was an avid hunter and gun collector. He enjoyed boating, water skiing, snowmobillng, and building toys and gadgets Keith enjoyed time spent with his four horses and two Golden Retrievers Keith showed us great courage, patience and strength over the years, especially the last few year as he battled cancer. Keith's laugh and good sense of humor will be dearly missed Keith will be lovingly remembered ana forever cherished by his children, Kevin (Karla) Orchard, Carlle (Bobby) Lesko, Tracey (Kevin) Hendriks; grandchildren, Evan, Rebekah, Hallie Lesko, Kyle and Krysten Hendriks; Austin Orchard; two sisters Lorraine (Jim) Olynik, Pat (Mel) Orchard, one sister-in-law Elaine (Dale) Bennet, aunts Mable Pederson and Pearl McKenzie, also several nieces and nephews Keith was predeceased by his wife Irene, parents Gorden and Kathleen Orchard and a sister Lynn Orchard The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2002 at 1 1 .00 a m. in the Community Centre, Borden, SK.
