She was predeceased by her mother, Marilyn Dick In 1968; her grandfather, John Dick; and grandparents, Bernadette and Charles Lommer, Susan Marie was born In Blggar June 19, 1958 to Marilyn and Merv Dick of Landis, At an early age she was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, but her slight disability never stopped her In her pursuits In life. She attended school In Landis and St.

Charles In Saskatoon. When her family moved to Thompson, MB she completed her Grade XII there. She was employed by the Manltobo Health and Family Services In Brandon and was married there In 1986. She loter MILLER Jessie of Luther Tower, 60S-1223 Temperance Street, age 90, passed away jeacefully on May 24, 1999 at St, Paul's Hospl-al. Surviving are son, Ian (Margaret); grand-' sons, Todd (Janet) and Scot; great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Mark; and sister-in-law, Gunda Miller.

Jessie was predeceased by husband, Herb, 1966; sister, Nellie, 1984; lather, John, 1926; mother, Eva, 1965; brother-in-law, Art, 1972; and long-time friend, Rose Kerr, 1993. Jessie was born In Scotland and came to Can-1 ada In 1911. She moved to Viscount, SK In 1 9 1 4 and resided there for many years where she was active In community and church activities. Jessie particularly enjoyed the M.I.S.S, club. Her recent pleasure was travelling with her friends and time spent with her pal, Thelma McCann.

SK, the third child ot William and Falgo Landa, Ida's parents had arrived In Saskatchewan as homesteaders from Russia. Her father William, a blacksmith and skilled Ironworker came first In 1904, then he sent tor his wife and two children, Rose and Harry, Shortly after Ida was born, the family moved permanently to Saskatoon where her father set up the blacksmith's shop which eventually became Landa Auto Body Works. Ida attended Princess Alexandra Elementary school, Nutana Collegiate and graduated from Bedford Road Collegiate Institute. She was already dn experienced businesswoman; she had worked for her father from an early age and got her first Job at 1 6 as a salesperson at the Boy's Shop on Second Avenue. Two eors later, she was offered position at a well dress shop called My Lddy's Fashions, There she learned the business and built up following of satisfied customers.

That was the beginning of her long and successful career In ladles fashion. She met her future husband, Abe Bobroff In Vancouver. Their daughter Shelia was bom there In 1937 but they returned to Saskatoon In 1939. At first she worked at Morton's Ladles Wear, then she ran the medical offices of two of her younger brothers. East-wood Landa and Sam Landa.

She had helpec them with their medical educations. In 1941 they helped her start her own ladles wear business. She called her first store Ida's and always said she knew It would be a success two hours after the doors opened. She opened another King George 22nd Street, followed In the late 1950's. Staklw and Kendall, the doctors and nurses at the Cancer Clinic, the nurses on 6th Floor and the nurses on the Palliative Care Unit at St, Paul's Hospital and for the care Rick received. Isabelle was born March 16, than 60 years. She was president of the local ladles wear association, and dn active volunteer In the community. She was a member of the Saskatoon Chapter of the Council ot Women, and from the time she was a teenager, she was also Involved In various organizations within the Jewish community. She was a treasurer of the youth group Young Judea and the president of Junior Hadassah.

For many years she also worked long and hard for the Cancer Society. Her husband Abe died In 1981. She married Al Domey ot Winnipeg In 1984. Al passed away In 1997. Her daughter Sheila gave her three grandchildren before she died In 1994.

Ida devoted her remaining years to giving love and astute guidance to ner grandsons Gary, Stephen and Brian Bobroff; Ida Is survived by her brother, Dr. Sam Landa; her sister, Berenice Abramson; sister-In-law Petty Landa; brother-in-law Josh Abramson and her three grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by aimer many friends, but most particularly by her grandsons, brother, sister, nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews living In Canada the United States and Israel. She spent her life cheering on and lifting up others. May she rest In peace.

He spent the best part of hi life farming on the family farm near Asquith, Although he had resided In Soskatoon for the past several years, he always considered his farm at Asquith os home. He returned there for visits at every opportunity, Fred was blessed with a great love tor life, All through his life, he looked forward to visits with friends and neighbors and even though he had no children ot his own all of the young people that he came to know had special place In his heart.

He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him well. Fred was predeceased by his first wife Jessie early In their life together and then later In life by hie second wife Irene. Isabelle was predeceased by her husband, Archie Willie (1982); her loving companion, Robert Smith (1998); three brothers, Byron, Maynard and Elwood Glauser. In recent years Isabelle gina; and by 17 grandchildren and 23 greatgrandchildren. A Prayer Service will be held for Anna at Schuler-Lefebvre Funeral Chapel, and Bob enjoyed winters In Hawaii, summers at Fox Lake ON, and travel to visit family Canada, the U.S.A., and Scotland. She leaves her daughter, Tannls; son-in-law, Tom lan-none; four grandchildren, Gyles, Tara (Tim), Dana (Clayton), Ryan; and three great-grandchildren, Lynsev, Erin and Abby with wonderful memories.
