She will be missed by her family, Gary Cook, Doug (Donna) Foster. Deaths Deaths 1000 1000 William John Gordon King November 1, 1900 December 13, 1999 William John Gordon King died peacefully in the Kindersley Hospital affer a short the hospital. Gordon was born in Mountain, Dundas County, ON, the son of James Brock King and Mary Isobel (Broder) King. Gordon came west with his family in 1908 to homestead in Juniata, where they also ran a store and lumberyard. Gordon attended school in Juniata and Nutana Collegiate in Saskatoon. He went to Normal School in Saskatoon and later taught at schools in Tessier and near Kinley.

After this brief stint teaching, he started a career as a grain buyer, working in Western Manitoba and Alberta as well as Juniata, Broadacres, Shellbrook and Codette. He was promoted to Superintendent for Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, working in Biggar and then Kerrobert. In 1927, he married Jean McNaughton, to whom he was married for 58 years when she predeceased him in 1985. In 1946, while in Kerrobert, Gordon purchased the GM dealership and John Deere Agency. In Kerrobert, he also served as a Town Councilor and School Board Trustee.

He operated the GM dealership until 1956 when he moved to Kindersley and bought Mylrea Motors, which he operated his retirement in 1975. He was a very active member of the BPO Elks, serving in 1941 as the Grand Exalted Ruler for Canada and Newfoundland. He was recently honored for 65 years of service to the Elks organization. He was instrumental in organizing the annual Elk's baseball tournament and in upgrading Kindersley's baseball facilities. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Director of Klipper baseball and hockey organizations and an active and supportive member of his community.

Gordon was blessed with good health, able to maintain his independence and living in his own home until his death and continuing to drive. He was well known for his fondness of Boston Terriers, over the years owning several named Mickey, who were his faithful companions. He was predeceased by his sisters, Helen and Keitha; and brother, Broder. He is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law. Shirley (Kelly) Rowland of Chase, BC, Wilda (Jim) Gardner of Kindersley, Mary Belyea of Lloydminster, AB and Verna (lan) Ferguson of Ottawa, ON; grandchildren, Jeff (Carolyn) Rowland, Mary (Gerry) Peppler, John Rowland, Dave (Jan) Gardner, Bob (Jennifer) Gardner, Kathy (Roger) Strutt, Pam (Mickey) Armstrong, Ken (Janice) Belyea, lan (Karen) Belyea, Keith (Cheryl) Belyea, Glen (Donna) Belyea and Karen and Maura Ferguson; great-grandchildren, Chris and Alexis Rowland, Sarah Rowland, Kelsey Peppler.

Macleod, of Rosetown, SK, occurred in the Rosetown Health Center on December 17, 1999 at the age of 83 years. Margaret is survived by her son, Rob (Julie) MacLeod and their children, Ryan, Jackie and Jesse of Stranraer, SK; and daughter, Kathie (Al) Delowsky, and their children, Scott, Marlie and Sheri of Rosetown, SK; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Macleod of Saskatoon, SK and her children, Jody (Alix), Cory (Jenna) and Jamie; and by two great-grandchildren, Casey and Connor: one sister-in-law, Phyllis Macleod of Saskatoon. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence on December 3, 1999; and by two sons, Glen in 1990 and Jim in 1985. Memorial Services will be held from the Rosetown United Church on Monday, December 20, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. with Jeannette officiating.

MacLEOD The passing of Mrs. Margaret Mae Deaths 1000 ZOERB Marion Mae died peacefully at her residence at Sasko Park Lodge, Tisdale on December 16, 1999. Marion was born in Beach, N.

Dakota, June 29, 1910 to Warren and Mae Montgomery. She was predeceased by her husband, Eli; son, Warren; three brothers, Gerald, Vernon and Jack; grandson, Derek. She is survived by sons, Dale (Maureen), Saskatoon, Melvin (Helen) Newcastle, WA and Larry (Val) Brandon; sisters, Rosalie Rogers, Whitehorse, Yukon and Dorothy (Dan) Rogowski, Preeceville; brother, Lloyd (Mae) Montgomery, Dryden, ON. Also survived by sisters-inlaw, Judy Montgomery, Prince George, Bernice Montgomery, Hudson Bay, Hazel Zoerb, Victoria, Evelyn Zoerb, Charlie Lake, BC, Sylvia Zoerb, Pouce Coupe, BC. Lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special family friend, Leona Little.

Marion and Eli were married in 1928 and farmed near Delisle for a few years before moving to Lucky Lake to run a Bakery. From there they had a bakery in Birch Hills and then subsequently moved to Tisdale in 1937 to establish a Bakery Shop that they operated until retirement in 1979. Marion enjoyed her family and there were many visits to her home that included a delicious meal. She enjoyed growing plants and flowers and was a very capable seamstress. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant alot to her.

She loved music and singing and over the years enjoyed doing many different crafts. She was an avid reader. Visitation 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Barron's Funeral Home in Tisdale, Monday, December 20. Funeral will be held Monday, December 20th at 2:00 p.m.

COMEAULT Mary Margaret Comeault (nee Palfy) passed away suddenly at RUH Saskatoon on December 12, 1999. She was ceased by her husband, Edward in 1998: parents, Stephen and Kathleen Palfy; and brothers, Steve, Paul, Laddie, Mickey, Bill, Jim and Frank.

She leaves to mourn her loss four children, Fred (Yvonne), Bill (Mary), Barb and Paul (Loretta Rolles); six grandchildren, Chad, Nicole, Christina, Michelle, Cecile and Bailey; one sister, Bertha Schacktel of Quinton, SK; sisters-in-law, Annie Palfy, Anne Balazs, Bessie Palfy, Eva (Frank) Dubois, Antonia Comeault. and Georgie Comeault. Born November 5. 1916, Mary was raised and attended school in the Golden Hill district. She married Edward June 8, 1937 and they farmed in the Viscount district until retiring to Saskatoon in 1996.

enjoyed many hobbies, sketching, painting, gardening, sewing, quilting and needle crafts and many will remember enjoying a meal at her table. Over the years she was a member of the Ladies of the Alter and CWL. Funeral Services were held Thursday, December 16 at St. Alphonse R.C. Church in Viscount.

Deaths 1000 HUTCH The death of Paul Hutch, of Outlook, occurred on Thursday, December 16, 1999 at the age of 91.

His wife, Helen, passed away March 1991. He is survived by three sons, Jim (Jean) of Saskatoon, Ray (Amy) of Brooks, Gordon (Leone) of Regina; daughter, Marie (Bill) Stephan of Lanigan; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Paul was born February 28, 1908 in Gimli, MB and is the last of a family of ten brothers and sisters. Paul and Helen started their family in the early thirties. They raised their family during, those difficult times and inspired and their children to pursue interesting careers.

They took great joy from the lives and progress of their families. Paul enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved the outdoors hunting and fishing. He also loved sports soccer, bowling, and curling. Most of all, he loved being with people.

His kindness friendship will be missed by many. He worked for the CPR for 47 years. He had not one day off from sickness or injury during that time and was very proud of the work and safety record of his railroad maintenance crews. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 20, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Outlook, SK.

Interment will take place at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Broderick. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations to the Pioneer Home in care of Outlook and District Health' Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements are in care of the OUTLOOK FUNERAL CHAPEL. Peter J.

Andres Peter Andres was born to Jacob W. and Elizabeth (Petkau) Andres at Langham, SK on No- vember 9, 1905. Although he grew up on the farm and eventually managed his own farm, his interests went beyond farming to such activities as construction, community and church projects and the development in farm technology. On June 19, 1932 Peter married Elizabeth Willems. They settled on a farm southwest of Langham.

They were blessed with sons and three, daughters. Eventually the family moved the Hepburn area where Peter had the privilege of laying out a new farmstead just west of Hepburn. Peter and Elizabeth determined to give each of their children an opportunity for a solid secular and Biblical education and music training. In the fall of 1968 Peter and Elizabeth retired to the city of Saskatoon, where they continued to entertain both family and countless friends. In 1994 they relocated to Elim Lodge on Moss Ave.

Peter joyed good health until the last several weeks when he was hospitalized at St. Paul's Hospital. On December 14, 1999 he was admitted to Parkridge Center, where he peacefully passed away at 7:30 p.m. December 15, 1999. The family wishes to thank for the compassionate care given to Dad at both facilities.

Peter was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth, December 31, 1998; four grandchildren: Chris Andres, Audrey Andres, two infant grandsons, and one great grandson Evan Epp. He is mourned by eight children and their spouses, Elmer (Hedy), Orla (Clarence) Block, Clara (Art) Priebe, Margaret (Jake) Janzen, Waldo (Helen), David (Diana), Donald (Elsie), Art (Lenora); 39 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, ber 20, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. from Forest Grove Community Church, 502 Webster Street, Saskatoon, SK, officiated by Pastor Abe Klassen and Pastor Harry Strauss. Interment at Hepburn Mennonite Brethren Church Cemetery, In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to Bethany Bible Institute, Box 160, Hepburn, SK.

GERBRANDT Dorothy passed away on LEWIS The death of Margaret (Maggie) Lewis, age 87 years of Oliver Lodge, Saskatoon, SK, occurred at her residence on Thursday, December 16, 1999. A Memorial Service will be held at McKague's Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 21, 1999 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment of Cremated Remains will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon, SK. Surviving are her two sons, Harry (Viv) Lewis of Toronto, Mack (Kate) Lewis of San Diego, CA; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rachel Hope of Port Coquitiam, BC. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret Mowat; her sister, Mary Simpson; and one grandson. Maggie was born on August 8, 1912 at Aberdeen, SK, where she was raised and educated. She married George Lewis in 1931.

They moved to Saskatoon in 1941. Maggie and George lived in Montgomery Place for 26 years. Maggie worked as an Administration Assistant at C.N.I.B., retiring in 1997. It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Art Czarnecki at his residence on Tuesday, December 14, 1999 at age of 67 years. Art was born and raised in the Alticane area, where he chose to live out his entire life. He will be remembered for his kindness and lighthearted humour and will be greatly missed by family friends.
