Esther (Alvm) Casley; brother-in-law, Ralph Johnson. Joe was born on October 12. 1917 at Asquith, SK, In 1941 he married Evelyn Johnson of Asquith, SK. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces and served with Signals-4th Armed Div. from 1942 1945 in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany until V.E.

Day, As Sgt, he received the Bronze Oak Leaf for Military Commendation. Upon his return he resumed his work with Sask-Tel, and became Foreman, City Foreman in 1957 and in 1963 Supervisor for Northern Sask. He retired in 1976. Joe enjoyed curling in his early years, and being actively Involved in hockey and ball for his sons' teams. When the family grew up Joe spent countless hours with his grandchildren.

After retiring from Sask-Tel he took up farming and actively farmed until 1988, Many good times were spent with family at this place he loved and hecontinued to go there until his health failed. Joe will be sadly missed and dearly remembered by his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 1 1998 at 10:00 A.M. at Park Funeral Chapel, 3 1 1 -3rd Ave.
