She Is survived by her nieces, Donna (Cliff) Mien-hart, Arlene (Byron) Goodall. Betiy (Richard) Brooks. Joy Neale; and nephew, Doug (Beatrice) Neale; sister-in-law, Martha Neale; neph-ew-ln-law.

John Dlener; her lifetime friend. Enid (Hank) Skupa; and numerous great-nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Freda McDougall (1996); brothers. Ralph (1954). Bill (1974), Cliff (1978); and niece, Joyce Dlener (1978).

Ada and her twin brother. Bill were born February 3. 1909 at Pense, SK and moved at an early age to a farm near Dafoe, SK. Ada was the telephone operator In Dafoe for several years before returning to the farm when her Mom's health began ra fall. Ada loved children and her nephew and nieces benefitted from that love.

Ada moved to Saskatoon In 1973 and lived near or with her sister. Freda until 1996 when she moved to Stensrud Lodge where she received excellent care. Although dementia stole Aunt Ada from us some time ago, she was always pleasant, polite and glad to see us when we visited her. A Graveside Service will be conducted by Rev. David Turvey at the Copeland Cemetery on Saturday, June 6 at 2:30 p.m.

She met and married Mervln In Scotland during WWII and came to Canada In 1 946 as a war bride. She and Mervln made Asquith their home where they raised their family.

Terry was an active member of many organizations Including the Asquith Baptist Cnurch. IODE, The Royal Purple, The Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Sask. War Brides. She enjoyed curling, bowling and golfing. She loved to sew and bake for her family and shut In friends and seniors.

as well she was particularly skilled at the art of paper toll picture making, Terry worked for many years with her husband. Mervln In the Co-op store In Asquith until theyboth retired In 1983. She enjoyed travel and otter retirement she and Mervin were able to make many trips to different parts of the world Including Scotland. Australia and Hawaii. Terry will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family and many friends.

STENSRUD Lilian was bom at Meacham, SK, February 1915 where she took all her schooling. She then entered St. Paul's School of Nursing In Saskatoon graduating In 1939. She nursed In SK, BC and ON before furthering her education at Toronto and London Universities receiving her degree of B.Sc.N. She moved to Hamilton.

ON to teach nursing at Chedoke Hospital where she remained until retirement. After retirement she did volunteer work at Che-doke-McMasters Hospitals. She was an avid golfer, curler, bridge player and liked travelling. She was also a very active church member. Survived by sisters, Uly Kellar, Ruth Gillespie, Fern (Harvey) Potts and Olive Aldor-fer; brothers.

Wally. Cliff (Pedle) and Lome; sis-ters-ln-law, Evy and LaVema; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by mother, Marie: father, Peder: step-mother, Grace; sisters. She emigrated to Canada In 1930, married Steve In 1932 and settled In the York-ton area, only moving to Saskatoon In the later years.

DERBOWKA Demetrius (Dick), age 96 years, passed away peacefully at his Stensrud Lodge home In Saskatoon on June 3, 1998. Dick was the oldest child of John and Anna Derbowka, pioneer farmers In the Borden, SK community. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Bill and is survived by his sisters, Pearl Braldek (Andrusko). Saskatoon, Dorothy Studebaker, Saratoga, California, Mary Jensen, Surrey, BC; brothers Nick (Frelda), Langley, BC and Harry (Nella), Borden, SK.

Dick graduated with a blploma In Agriculture from the of in 1929, then farmed near Saskatoon where he also pursued his keen artistic Interest with pencil, water colors and oils. A grave side service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon at 1 :00 p.m. on Monday, June 8 (arrangements by Park Funeral Chapel), followed by a Memorial service at the Chapel at Stensrud Lodge, 2202 McEown Avenue, at 2:00 p.m. Floral tributes gratefully declined. June 6, 1998, 10:00 a.m. Sean was active In many sports, especially hockey. Whatever he played, he played hard. His love of science fiction and games of all types was also a big part of his life. Another of Sean's Interests was computers.

By pursuing this Interest, Sean became a Canadian Scholar and an accomplished computer programmer for Autodraft, Inc. Sean will be lovingly remembered by his family, relatives and friends. Sean Is survived by his parents, Mary and Aimer Welsensel; his siblings. Ward Welsensel, Sherry and Ken Schulzke, Dean and Lori Welsensel and Usa Welsensel as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be deeply missed by all.

244-2103. HOOK Edward Joseph, bom July 14, 1923, died June 1, 1996. Son of Joseph and Catherine Hook, Survived by his wife, Audrey: sons, Brian (Jayne) and Gregg (Dorothy); and his daughter, Barbara (Doug Smith); six grandchildren, Michael, David, Paul, Tanya, Christie and Erin. Eddie was bom In Watrous, SK and lived his life there. He joined the CNR In 1939 and worked for the railroad until his retirement In 1984.

He served In the RCAF during World War 2. He devoted a great deal of his time In service to his community. Eddie was elected to Town Council and served as Councillor from 1959-1966 and again In 1970. In 1971 he became Mayor of Watrous and held office until 1980 when he declined to run again. Eddie was an avid sportsman throughout his life.

He was an accomplished cutler and golfer who was also respected for his good sportsmanship and camaraderl i. He haa a passion for hunting, especially his Canada Geese. He also loved the Saskatchewan Roughrlders. Eddie will be deeply missed by his family, his friends and his community. Following cremation his ashes were strewn In some of his favorite spots.

In accordance with his wishes, In lieu of flowers, he asked that donations be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund. ISACKSON Clifford R. Isackson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 1998 at the age of 73 years.
