Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Breithaupt). Dear father of Catherine Wilson and husband Ernie, Janet Gordon, and James Gordon and wife Joyce Logie. Grandfather of Sarah Wilson Jennifer Wilson, Susan Blackwell and Emily Gordon, Born in Watrous, Saskatchewan, August 2, 1911. Rod's distinguished medical career included service in the Canadian Army Medical Corps, 15th General Hospital, Basingstoke, England 1939-1945; Anesthetist in Chief at Toronto General Hospital and Professor of Anaesthesia, of 1961-1977; President of the Canadian Anaesthetists' Society 1 963 and Editor of the Society's Journal 1954-1982. Founder of C.A M.A F.

A dedicated teacher, he lectured in many countries including United Kingdom, India, Thailand and Nigeria. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Research Funds, Department of Anaesthesia, Faculty of Medicine University of Toronto. BELL Beryl (Rose) Passed away peacefully on March 19, 1998 after a lengthy battle with diabetes and leukemia. Born August 4, 1921, Dredeceased by husband, Richard; sister, 3hyllis; brothers. Gary and Clifford; and parents, Percy and Marie Survived by daughters, Laurie McDonald of Regina, Colleen (Bill) Summers of Canora.

Patricia (Phil) Galon of Saskatoon; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren, Mom was born in Kamsack, SK, where she spent her growing up years, While serving In the RCAF in 1953 she met dad a dashing young Irish pilot. The two were married and had a family of three daughters. Mom's life was devoted to being a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed oil painting, round and square dancing, camping and photographing wild flowers with dad, until he passed on In 1993, For the past five months since the diagnosis of Leukemia, mom resided comfortably at the Saskatoon Convalescent Home. Thanks to the staff for their kindness in her final days.

FYSON John William, age 76 of Perdue, SK, passed away on the morning of Thursday, March 19, 1998. He was predeceased by his father, William; hls mother, Florence; and hls brother, Dick. Left to mourn are his wife, Frelda, brother, Tom (Bernice); brothers-in-law, Fred (Irma) Wilcox, Don (Vera) Wilcox: sisters-in-law. Hazel (George) Vogelsang Frances (Jim) Strafe; daughter, Sheryl (Charlie) Dreyer: son, Rick (Terry), six grandchildren, Darren (Joan) Dreyer, Dawn (Jim) Klassen, Kristal, Kevin, Kandice and Rachel Fyson; four great-grandchildren, Carly Dreyer, Aleassa, Aimee and Johnathon Klassen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John was born in Asquith, SK on February 10, 1922 to William and Florence Fyson.

He grew up on the form and attended Raspberry Creek School He married Olive Freida Wilcox on October 7, 1943 and continued farming the homestead located on Raspberry Creek In the RM of Eagle Creek until 1992 when they moved to the town of Perdue. Though not living there any longer, John was very involved In the activities of the farm and hls nelp was much appreciated right up until the time of his passing throughout his life Bop" had a keen Interest in horses and took In many rodeos. He enjoyed many winters of curling and summers of fishing and playing horseshoes, In later years he Took up reading western novels, bowling and thoroughly enjoyed watching television, especially sports. John was surely a country gentleman. Though a man of few words, his were sincere and well-meaning He loved his family as they loved him ana he will certainly by missed by many.

Paul's Palliative Care Unit March 19, 1998 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born the second of three daughters to Hugh and Margaret Cameron on June 10, 1918, she grew up on the farm at Leslie, SK. Telling many stories of life on the prairies at that time and how people coped with what seemed insurmountable challenges typical of pioneer existence. Such exposure built strength of character that "things could always be After completing high school she attended Saskatoon Normal School, graduating in the class of 1938. She taught for several years but her heart was always with nursing It was in this vocation with which she identified and could put to good use her qualities ot empathy, compassion, patience and putting the needs ot others before herself.

Graduating in the class of 1945 at Yorkton General Hospital, she pursued her nursing career at various locations. Foam Lake, Rose Valley and Winnipeg to name a few until her marriage in 1957 to waiter Newman, She spent the rest of her life at Viscount raising her daughters, tending to her yards and enjoying annual summer trips to the lake, most recent of which was Dore Lake. It wasn't until January of 1997 when she was diagnosed with her Illness that she moved to Saskatoon. She Is survived by her two daughters, Lorna (Tim) Boechler and grandchildren, Ryan and Nicole: Linda (Murray) Roney and grandchildren, Karen, Sean, Samantha and Coyle two sisters. Anna Cameron and Maxine (Herb) Gjosund.

She was predeceased by her father, Hugh; mother, Margaret; husband, Walter (January 1997); and sister-in-law, Maureen Newman, Mom was a continual optimist and made the best of whatever came her way. We are going to miss very much her sense ot humour, (which she retained until the end), perseverance, consideration and our girls lunches The family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul's Palliative Care Unit for the excellent care our mother received there, also to the caregivers and friends that have been so very supportive during this last year. It Is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Joseph Malec on March 20 following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Ron was born in Port Alberni, BC on February 8, 1947. He Is survived by hls loving wife and best friend, Susan (nee Dear); his daughter, Bonny (Lance); and granddaughter, Caley; hls son, David and fiance, Leanne Schwab; his parents.

Edward and Julia Malec; two sisters, Gail (Glen) Love; and nieces, Kimberlee (Victoria, BC) and Randl, Linda (Clayton) Mazurkewich; and nephews, Dallas and Darnel; one brother, Don, all of Saskatoon. He Is also survived by his mother-in-law, Myrt Dear and the rest of the Dear families, Ron spent most ot hls life living In Saskatoon and attended Haultain and Churchill Public Schools, He graduated from Aden Bowman Collegiate In 1965, Ron had previously worked for Sask Tel and then became co-proprietor of United Electric with his dad. He later obtained hls Electronics papers. At the time ot his passing he was self-employed. Ron was an Intelligent Individual who retained a wealth and depth of Information that he eagerly shared He had a quick mind and memory for trivia.

Without hesitation he was always willing to come to the assistance of others whenever needed. His lively sense of humour and wit gained him many friends, several ot whom he remained In close association with from the days when they played marbles and baseball together, Laurie Currie, Mark Lindblad, Dave Freeman, and Bernle Wilkinson wherever he is we know he'll be thinking of you especially on your birthdays, Hls quiet dignity had a great Impact on those who shared hls life. He loved the outdoors and spent many peacefully hours In hls backyard enjoying the fragrance of nature and the rippling water from hls water fountain. In 1985 Esther and Glen moved to King Edward Place where they made many new friends. She kept busy with crafts even In her last days. Esther slipped peacefully away In St.

Paul's Hospital Thursday morning with her sister. Sadie by her side, A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 23, 1998 at 10,00 a m. at the Chapel of The Saskatoon Funeral Home, with Rev. Murray Boldt officiating. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, LG.

Arrangements have been entrusted to 1HE SASKAIOON FUNLRAL HOME. 244-5577 GREEN The passing of Mrs. Clara Green, of Rosetown, SK, occurred In the Rosetown Wheatbelt Centennial Lodge on March 19 1998 at the age ot 88 years. Clara was born on August 7, 1909 at Renfrew, ON and it was here she received her education. Clara came west In the mid 1920's to Alberta and then later to Moose Jaw, SK.

While In Moose Jaw she met David Green and they were married on February 17, 1930. They then moved and began farming In the Gunworth District In 1954 they moved to Rosetown, SK and Clara was employed at Graham's and later Steadman's. Clara greatest toy In life was being with her family and friends. She Is survived by her children, Lois (Bob) Anderson of Rosetown, SK, Emily (Will) Lllllqulst ot Arborg MB, Joy (Max) Nickell ot Brock, SK and Bob (Donna) Green ot Regina; thirteen grandchildren: 17 greatgrandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren: two sisters Grace Kridler of Sacramento, CA and Ruby Parsons of Timmons, ON; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband in 196 and ten brothers and sisters, Private Family Services will be held from the Chapel ot Clements Rosetown Funeral Home, Memoiial donations In Clara memory may be directed to the Arthritis Society.
