BACH The passing of Mrs. Marie Katherine Bach age 68 years of Sunnyslde Nursing Home, Saskatoon occurred in a local hospital on Thursday, December 30th, 1982. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 4th at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor William Flath from St.

Paul's Lutheran Church In Melville, Sask. Surviving are: two daughters: Mrs. Liz (Raymond) Kltch of Qu'Appelle, Sask. and Rose (Mike) Bacsu of Melville, Sask.) two grandchildren: Tom (Bev) Kltch and Sandra (Mike) Scott and one great-grandson, Travis Kitch; two sisters: Mrs. Barbara Parker of Regina, Sask.

and Mrs. Elizabeth Hains of Virden, Man. and one brother: Albert. Holl-Inger of Regina, Sask. She was predeceased by her husband, August in 1976, her daughter, Mrs.

Ruby Schick in 1982, her parents and three brothers. The late Mrs. Bach was born in the Lemberg district of Saskatchewan and In the early 1950's moved to Waldron, Sask. In 1972 she moved to Melville and in 1980 Mrs. Bach came to Saskatoon where she had since resided.

Interment will take place In the family plot in the Melville Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Park Funeral Chapel. GILDERS Elsie who passed away peacefully in Cranbrook Hospital December 24th, 1982 In her 91st year. She was predeceased bv her husband Cyril in December 1932. Survived by her two sons: Jim in Calgary, Alta, and Bill in Saskatoon, two daughters: Mrs.

Clarice Abbott In Wynndal, B.C. and Mrs. Phyllis Baldwin of Saskatoon, two sisters In England; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A private family memorial service will be held in Bradwell, Sask. MCLEAY The death of Wil-llam J.

(Jim) McLeav age 69 years of 401 28th St. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan occurred at his residence on Thursday, December 30th, 1982. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 4th at 1 :30 p.m. from the Chapel of Saskatoon Funeral Home conducted Jv Rev. N.

Stewart Dingwall. (In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind would be appreciated.) Surviving are: his brother, Sandy McLeay and his wife Irene of Vancouver, B.C.) sisters-ln-law, Winnlfred McLeav and Mina McLeay of Saskatoon, Sask. and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Verna In 1973, his parents, three brothers and two sisters. Mr.

McLeav was born In Fettercairn, Scotland and came to Saskatoon in 1928. He married Verna Young in 1937. He was employed with the John East Iron Works for 43 years prior to becommlng associated with Remai Management until his retirement in 1979. Mr. McLeay was a member of the Masonic Order and a life member of Twin City Lodge No.

LAWSON The death of Lome A. Lawson occurred in a local hospital on Thursday, December 30th, 1982 after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Grandview, Manitoba on March 10. 1904, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Lawson. In 1930 he married Lenore Denby of Wln-nlpegosis, where they resided for tens years.

During this peiod Lome was employed by Armstrong Glmll Fisheries. In the summers he worked as Marine Engineer on the freighting boats, In the winters he operated a Trading Post In the north for the Booth Fisheries. In 1940 they moved to Biggar, Sask. where he operated a Dairy farm until retirement age in 1963. They moved to town that year and Lome was employed bv A.

W. Mooney Hardware. Six years later they moved to Saskatoon where he was building superintendent at Dorchester Towers then with West-wood Funeral Chapel, performing answering service duties for six years. Lome sup ported the church all his life and was active in the choir in both Winnipegosls and Biggar, Surviving are: his loving wife Lenore, two daughters; Nonle and her husband Don Wright, Lee and her husband Jerry Bereza all of Saskatoon, three grandchildren; Lex Wright and his wife Barb of Biggar, Sherry Wright of Robsart, and Kris Bereza of Saskatoon, two great grandchildren, three sis ters; Bertha, Mrs. Bert Slator of Winnipeg, Mabel, Mrs.

O.C. Martin of Bend, Oregon, Laura, Mrs. Jack Campbell of New Lowell, Ontario, three brothers; Jack and his wife Ethel of Grandview, Fred and his wife Kav also of Grand view, Roy of Fort Saskathcewan, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased bv his parents and three brothers: Gordon, Harold and Don. Memorial ser vices will be held on Monday, January 3rd, 1983 at 2:00 p.m from the Luther Sunset Chapel with Pastor Gene Grant off icl atlng.

Mr. Carlson was born in Bralnard, Minnesota. He came with his family to Canada In March 1917 to settle in the Viscount, Saskatchewan district. Mr. Carlson farmed and resided in the Viscount area for a number of years moving to make his home In Meacham, Sask.

Mr. Ewachiw was a member of the church choir, assisted In teaching of student choirs and was custodian of the church. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. and Mrs. Fawcett came to reside In Saskatoon In 1952 and continued their farming Interests until retiring in 1972. For many years they spent the winter months at Mission, Texas and had resided in Kelowna, B.C. from 1972 until returning to Saskatoon in 1976. Mrs.

MORITZ Lillian Moritz, 98 years, passed away on December 30th, 1982 In a Saskatoon Nursing Home. She was born in Humboldt, Nebraska, U.S.A.

on April 28th, 1884. She married Frank Moritz of Humboldt and they came to Canada In 1914 to farm at Simpson, Sask. In 1925 they moved to Leroy where she lived until moving to Delisle in 1953. She leaves to mourn, her son Sam and his wife Mae of Tisdale, Ted and his wife Margaret of Sturgis, her daughter Edith and her husband Lawrence Brownell of Delisle, also eight grandchildren, eleven great-granchil-dren and one sister, Mrs. Sarah Ptaffly of Burlington, Colorado, U.S.A.

She was predeceased by her husband Frank In 1935. Mrs. Moritz was a member of the United Church in Leroy and Delisle, and an active member, who enioyed the activities of the Senior Citizens Club in Delisle tor many vears. She was a much loved mother and grandmother and we, her family have many happy memories of the years we had her with us. 24. She was a Life member and Past Honored Royal Lady of the O.O.R.P. Lodge 46. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Candlan Legion Branch No. 63 and was a faithful worker with the Saskatoon Pensioners and Pioneers organization for many years.

Predeceased by: his wife, Anne In 1976; mother, Julie in 1955; father, Ole In 1967; his brother, Edwin in 1979, Torger is survived bv: a daughter, Mrs. Howard Wall (Jessie) of Vancouver; and a son, Jim of Williams Lake, B.C.; a sister, Mrs. Frank Perry (Olga) of Dubuc and a brother Harold (Harry) of Nipawln, Sask. and six grandchildren. Torger farmed for many years in the Dubuc area until his wife's Illness made it necessary for them to move to Saskatoon.

He worked for some 15 vears at the Salvation Army Eventide Home for men. During the last two vears he lived at Scott Towers where he was part-time caretaker. His compassion for others and his self sacrifice for the needs of other people, especially senior citizens, endeared him to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed. His love for music made him a welcome asset to any social gathering.
