The Post-Good Will Santa campaign began Wednesday to bring toys to tiny tots whose poverty otherwise would cause them to lose faith in Santa Claus. Things were looking glum for a while when renovations at Central fire station made it impossible for firemen to assist the Post in perpetuating the custom of repairing old toys that began six years ago. And then came H. E. Williams, Good Will club secretary, who had ideas.

The firemen are going to aid by accepting toys at all the fire stations and forwarding them to the club for renovation. In expressing regret that firemen would not be able to do the toy repair work this year, Fire Chief John T. Sullivan asked that firemen be allowed to help as much as possible by aiding in collection of toys.

He also offered use of a truck in hauling the toys from the fire stations to the Santa headquarters on Magoffin. Down in the basement at the club they will fix all wooden articles in the woodworking room already established. Other items will be mended in the gym and boxing ring. The Good Will Boys' club was founded two years ago in an effort to increase employment for boys and reduce juvenile delinquency, first the headquarters was a playground at Seventh and Florence in South El Paso. But in October they moved into their new clubrooms, the gift of the First Baptist church, equipped with game rooms and possibilities for useful recreation.

Shortly before Christmas, they will begin distribution of old but mended toys. Some 2000 poor children will benefit from their work. different with explained Williams. other people charity.
