Such dessert not only supplements the other food in the meal but causes the child to leave the table satisfied. The part sugar plays in making these desserts appealing should be considered in relation to other foods.

Those which are carriers of vitamins, minerals and roughage can be made as inviting as desserts by the use of sugar as a flavor. Cabbage, onions, cauliflower, turnips, tomatoes, peas and other vegetables canned or fresh are much improved in appetizing qualities when seasoned with a dash of sugar to a pinch of salt. INDIAN GIRL SUED THREE TIMES FOR STEALING A MAN Young Oil Heiress Loses Third Suit For Alienation of Affections MUSKOGEE.

Okla. JP A young Creek Indian woman has lost the third cult filed against her for alienation of affections since she was made wealthy by oil. Exie Fife, whose fortune has risen and declined with the flow of wells on the rocky acres of hef federal allotment, smiled as she heard a district court jury award Mrs. Jesse Adair a $20,000 verdict Tuesday night. I didnt want Jesse, she said.

I wouldnt have the best man on earth. Mrs. Adair, charging the Indian girl had stolen the love of her divorced husband, a former Muskogee patrolman, asked damages of $105,000. She asserted Exie had presented Adair gifts, including a motor car. Defense attorneys, charging conspiracy, announced they would appeal.

As Exie is a government ward, approval of the department of the interior would be necessary for payment. Government agents testified Ex-ies wealth shrunk to $180,000, due largely to dwindling of oil production. Her income now is $800 a month, they said. Exie once paid Mrs. Ollie Carr $7,500 to settle a $25,000 alienation suit.

She was sued by Leona McIntosh In 1928 for $200,000. Available records did not show disposition of the latter case. GAITSViULE. GALESVILLE. Wis.
