1 Activities Sally Roberts And James Roman Married Today Miss Sally Joanne Roberts became the bride of James R. Roman in a ceremony performed at St. Church at 9 a. today by Father Stephen Schneider. O.

pa.stor. The parents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Roberts. 320 Ludington and Mr.

and Mrs. Herman Shea of 1513 N. 16th St. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore an original gown of Chantilly lace with a delicately molded lace bodice, high jewel neckline and a flaring skirt of lace tulle over net and satin. Her crown of satin was with pearls and rhinestones.

She carried a bouquet of pink sweetheart roses with cascading white feathered carnations edged with maline. Her maid of honor, Miss Marilyn Wellman of Eseanaba, was attired in pastel green net over taffeta. The strapless gown was worn with a jacket. Her picture hat was pastel green net. Yellow' roses centered her colonial style bouquet with yellow snapdragons and an edging of yellow maline.

Darlene Ann Wegner. a niece of the bride, was flowei girl and Robert Lauscher, a nephew of the bride, carried the rings used in the double ceremony. The flowei frock styled with a hoop skirt was pastel orchid and her hat was the same shade. She carried a miniature colonial bouquet centered with yellow roses and snapdragons. Afternoon Reception Sullivan of Gladstone was Mr.

best man. The guests were seated by Ernest LaVigne of Eseanaba and Paul Provo of Gladstone. A two piece suit of navy blue rayon gabardine with pink ac cessories was worn by Mrs. Robert's for her daughter's wedding. Her corsage was pink roses and carnations.

Mrs. Shea wore a navy- blue nylon and rayon dress with white accessories and a corsage ol white roses and carnations. St. Choir sang the music of the Nuptial High Mass. Two gold vases on the altar held white gladiolus and snapdragons and tall standards with arrangements of like flowers were at either side of the sanctuary.

The family breakfast at the home of the bride's parents will be followed by a reception for 2U0 guests from 3 to 7 at the Eagle- Club Rooms. Centering the table is the traditional three-tiered wedding cake, adorned with yellow' roses. Miss Patricia Roman, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Gladys Van Effen are pouring and Mrs. Jack Condon of Chicago serving the wedding cake. Honeymoon Trip The couple will honeymoon on Mackinac Island and in the Cupper Country.

For traveling the bnde will wear a grey summer flannel suit with yellow accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. They will live at 1321 1st Ave. in Eseanaba. Both attended Eseanaba High School. The bride is with the Photo Art Shop and hei husband is employed by Bottle Gas and Alliant Co.

Lace Bodice The lace bodice of hei gown was designed with a V-necked yoke of tulle with the drop shoulder line I banded by a cuff of scalloped lace Mrs. and pleated nylon tulle. The long, fitted sleeves extended to points over the wrist.

The lace overskirt. scalloped and slightly longer was detailed wutn a front panel i of pleated nylon tulle. Her very i full veil of Italian illusion was fingertip length, gathered to a ne (-brim of pleated tulle. White velvet lilacs were on either side of the bonnet-brim. She carried a hand bouquet of gardenias and stephanotis with ivy and white satin streamers.

Mrs. Thomas W. Maloney of Milwaukee, a cousin of the bride, who was matron of honor, wore a ballerina length gown of pink silk organza over taffeta. Soft wide folds of self material formed the bodice. The bouffant skirt was very full.

A head garland of white feathered carnations and ivy with a tiny pink velvet bow and short streamers in back completed her attire. She carried and all-white bouquet. Pink nylon organdy over pink taffeta as worn by little Janie Gaffney of New York, the flower girl. Her frock with a wide sash, had a round neckline accented I with ruffling edged with white lat and a full skirt with an apron effect formed of ruffles. She wore a garland similar to the matron of in her hair and she tarried a nosegay of white flowers cen it i id with pink blossoms.
