A Private Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, August 18th, at 3:45 p.m, conducted bv the Rev. N. Stewart Dingwall.

Surviving are a nephew, Shawn Klngsland of Saskatoon; two sisters: Mrs. Lorena Heath of Saskatoon and Mrs. Dorothy Forsyth of Toronto; and a brother, Tom Peat of Abbotsford, B.C. She was predeceased by her parents, David and Alice Peat, two sisters, Nell Thomas and Betty Peat. Miss Peat was born at Asquith, Saskatchewan.

She attended business college In Saskatoon and continued to live here until her death. (Cremation). Interment took place In Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Surviving are: His loving wife, Katharina; his children, George and Leena Rempel, Refer Rempel, Henrv Sandra Rempel, Donald and Magdonala (Dudu) Rempel all of Briflsh Columbia; fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. MAKULOWICH The passing of Mrs. Nettie Makulowich age 88 years of 358 Avenue South, Saskatoon occurred in a local hospital on Tuesday, August 17th, 1982. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 20th at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Very Rev. M.S.

Sophie Sielski of Hanna, Alta. She was predeceased by her husband Wasyl, In 1969, one son Dmytro, in 1941, one grandson, Philman Makulowich, four sisters and one brother. The late Mrs. Makulowich was born in Ukraine and came to Canada in 1903 to Fish Creek, Saskatchewan. She married Wasyl Makulowich in 1910 and moved to the Prudhomme district where they farmed until their retirement.

In 1955 when they retired Mr. and Mrs. Makulowich came to Saskatoon where she had resided until her passing. Mrs. Makulowich was a member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral.

Interment will take place in the family plot In Woodlawn Orthodox Cemetery. Arrangements are In care of Park Fu-neral Chapel. FLACH The death of Mrs. Clara Flach, age 85 years of St. Anns Home, 2910 Louise Street occurred at her residence on August 18th, 1982.

Prayers will be offerred In St. Francis Roman Catholic Church at 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, August 20th, 1982 at 10:30 a.m. in St.

Francis Roman Catholic Church. Celebrant of the Mass will be Father R. Senger. McKague's Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Surviving are: three sons, Raymond of Saskatoon, Manferd of Ana-helm, California, and Roderick of Calgary, and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Flach was predeceased by her husband, Alexi-ous In 1961, bv a daughter, Rosaleen, and by a son, Carl Thomas, while serving in the R.C.A.F. In World War II. The Family requests donations to the Heart Fund or Mass Cards In lieu of flowers, in Honor of Mother. Interment will be made in the Roman Catholic section of Woodlawn Cemetery.

VANDERLEER The death of Mrs. Bella VanderLeer age 77 years of 802 Avenue South, Saskatoon occurred in a local hospital on August 18th, 1982. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 20th, 1982 at 1 :30 p.m. in the Chapel of McKague's Funeral Home conducted by Archdeacon H.W. Brandrick.

Surviving are: four daughters, Mrs. Belle Grosv of Saskatoon, Mrs. Mel (Fran) Heath of Edmonton, Alberta, Mrs. Don (Maggie) Robertson of Saskatoon and Mrs. Robert (Wllhelmlna) Marshall of Saskatoon, one son, Stan Leith of Saskatoon, eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two sisters In Scotland, one brother, Bill Taylor of Saskatoon and three brothers in Scotland.

Mrs. VanderLeer was predeceased by her first husband, Alex Leith In 1934, by her second husband, William VanderLeer in 1979, and by a son, Albert Leith in 1938. Mrs. VanderLeer was born In Scotland. She came to Saskatoon to make her home In 1925.

Father Sylvester Lewans (Provincial Superior) and con-celebrating members of the Oblate Community. Surviving are: nieces and nephews In Germany. The late Brother Weiss was born in Germany. He took his Oblate Profession on July 16th, 1913 in St. Charles, Manitoba.

He worked on the St. Charles farm in Battleford, the Marian Press in Battleford and prior to retirement Brother Weiss was the custodian at the Oblate Provincial House in Saskatoon. Interment will take place in the St. Charles Oblate Cemetery, Battleford, Saskatchewan on Friday, August 20th at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Park Funeral Chapel.
