W. Rapson, of 916 Beckford street observed their twenty-fifth silver wedding anniversary. Sunday, November 14, at which time their family gathered to help them celebrate. A delicious dinner was served by their three daughters, Marjorie, who resides at home; Mrs. Jeanne Weisbaker and Mrs.

Joanne Donley. The table was prettily appointed, with a lovely cake as the centerpiece. Fall flowers completed the decorations. The evening was then spent informally. The entire family was present at the gathering except one son, Donald, who is serving with the U.

S. Air Corp in San Antonio, Texas. He phoned his parents to extend his best wishes. Mr. and Mrs.

Rapson were married November 14, 1923 in the old Third U.P. church and have resided at 916 Beckford for their entire married life. They are the parents of seven children, the four mentioned above and Judy Karen and Richard, all at home. They have one grandchild. Mr.

Charles Campbell, of Pine street, was a charming hostess Monday evening, when the Merry Mams club met in her home, and the election of officers was held. President, Mrs. Frank Davelli, treasurer, Mrs. Dom Christofer, and reporter, Mrs. Walter Morgan.

Card playing was the pastime, and the card prize and club token was won by Mrs. Dom Christofer. Names were drawn for the Christ' mas meeting, scheduled for December 14, with Mrs. Nick Tuscano, of Pollock avenue. At the close of play, a dainty lunch was served, with Mrs.

nonnoe CELEBRATION OF 25TH ANNIVERSARY A delightful event that took place during the week-end. was the silver wedding anniversary celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Evan D. Wilkins, 412 Edgewood avenue, when they entertained informally at commemorating their silver wedding anniversafy.

The occasion was attended by more than 100 friends, relativos and neighbors of the couple. Guests arrived from 7 on until a late hour Friday evening and the house was decorated throughout with a colorful arrangement of flowers, all gifts of the honored couple. From a large table beafltifully appointed with a centerpiece of fall flowers in a crystal gondola flanked by branching candelabrum holding white tapers, tasty refreshments were served. Pouring was Mrs. Robert Adams, who attended the bride at her wedding 25 years ago.

Aides throughout the evening included Mrs. Joseph Wilkins, Mrs. Paul Lannert and Miss Shirley Wilkins, the latter, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilkins.

On November 12, 1923, Margaret Adams, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Adams, Smithfield street, became the bride of Evan D. Wilkins, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Joseph Wilkins, Park avenue, this city. The ceremony was quietly performed in Trinity Episcopal church of New Castle, with the presiding minister, the Rev. Philip C. Pearson, officiating. Mr.

and Mrs. Robert Adams, also New Castleites, wer their only attendants. The honored couple have been lifelong residents of this locality, and have a wide circle of friends. Further commemorating the occasion, the guest of honor were recipients of an array of beautiful gifts, attractively displayed. Monday afternoon with Mrs. Frank Hanna as hostess. In answer to roll call ay Bible character was named. Two papers formed the main portion of the program. One on American Churches," prepared by Mrs.

H. C. Mitchell, was read by Mrs. Robert L. Meermans and one on the Bible, an outline and historical data, was read by Mrs.

O. F. hall Monday evening, Mrs. Blanche Raught of Allquippa, managing deputy; Mrs. Anne Patterson of Allquippa and Mrs.

Ethel Thomas, past managing deputy, were special guests. Dinner was served shortly after six at a table prettily decorated in yellow and white. Later Mrs. Cora Fisher called the business meeting to order and then turned the program over to Mrs. Eva Drumheller, who in turn introduced Mrs.

Raught. Her talk on the work of the review was one of special interest to the members. It was announced that oh December 20 there will be a mas dinner program and exchange Mrs. Cora Fisher, Mm. Eva Drumheller, Mrs.

Helen McKinley. Mrs Charlotte McCullough and Mrs. Viola Nelson are in charge of arrangements. Next regular meeting will be December 6. when election of officers will take place.
