Julene was born March 16, 1940, in Waupun, a daugh- ter of Orville and Esther (Bernhagen) Kohls. She lived in Waupun with her parents until residing at Bethesda in Watertown and later moving to ResCare Group Home in Brandon. Julene battled spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy all her life.

at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. Beatrice was born Sept. 27, 1953, to Edward and De- loris (Lovelace) Kreis in West Bend. She was a grad- uate of West Bend High School in 1972. Beatrice was employed by and retired from MEC of Mayville.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, hunting, archery and camping. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Beatrice is survived by her significant other, Bill Cot- ter of Mayville; her sons, Jason (Terri) Sivula of Mayville and Chad (Amy) Sivula of Waukesha; her sisters, Shir- ley (Don) Bechler, Jane (Richard) Bechler, and Barbra Kreis; her grandchildren, Brandon, Hailey and other dear grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and her sister. Memorials may be directed to family.

was born July 20, 1935, to William and Amanda (Kohn) Kahl in Marquette Township, Green Lake County. A.J. graduated as valedictorian from Princ- eton High School in 1953 where he was involved in all sports. On June 8, 1957, he married Donna Welk. A.J.

was a correctional of- ficer at for 30 years. He served as president and other offices for Local 18. His second vocation was the one he liked best. For 40 years he loved the smiling faces of the children as he drove school bus for Bill, Lee, and Jim of Edmunds Bus Service. He enjoyed umpiring softball in Wau- pun, watching Waupun High School sports, the Brewers and the Packers.

He belonged to various bowling teams and loved to play cards with friends. A.J. was a mem- ber of Union-Congregational Church where he served as trustee. He sang in the church choir and considered the other choir members family. When he was declared legally blind, he continued to sing or at least hum along.

A.J. is survived by his wife, Donna; a son, Michael Kahl of Oshkosh; a daughter, Amy (Will) Manier of Ran- dolph; a daughter, Kathleen (Howie) Gloff of Kenosha; a granddaughter, Adrienne (Peter) Kangas of Evans- ville; a granddaughter, Celeste (John) Deno of Mena- sha; a grandson, Greg (Dawn) Manier of Randolph; two great-grandsons, John Jacob Deno and Lucas William Manier; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeffrey Kahl; a sister, Joyce Ehrenberg and her husband, Thad; a brother, Arnold Kahl and his wife, Joanne; and a sister, Shelby Jean Giese. A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m.

Dale Schreiber Dale Arthur Schreiber, 71, Markesan, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Dale was born Dec. 17, 1946, son of Harold and Lorraine (Karau) Schreiber. He was united in marriage to Georgia Hannah on Jan.

31, 1970, at St. Johns Lu- theran Church in Markesan. Dale loved history, geneal- ogy, fishing, hunting and trapping. He loved to dance and teach contra and troika dances. Dale was on the Markesan School Board for sev- eral years and lifetime member of Markesan Historical Society.

He was a member of Grand River Valley 4-H Club and a poultry and rabbit 4-H leader. Dale was a superintendent of the poultry and rabbit building at the Green Lake County Fair for several years. Dale and his family hosted rabbit and poultry shows and holiday Christmas festivals for about 15 years and 14 years with folk dance workshops as well as volunteering at numer- ous holiday folk balls and festivals. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Beaver Dam. Dale is survived by his wife, Georgia; sons, Juan Sch- reiber of Waupun, Gustav Schreiber of Waupun, Jared Schreiber of Markesan and Aaron Amy and her daughter Zoei) Schreiber of Markesan; and daughter, Sarah (Mark) Crane of New Hampshire; grandchildren, Cynthia Zachary) of Indiana, Jared Jr.

of Texas, Ciara Schreiber of Watertown, and Matthew of New Hampshire; four cousins, Ben (Gail) Karau, Raymond (Debbie) Karau, Roger Karau, Helen (Tom) Karau all of Oshkosh; in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts, un- cles and in-laws. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Markesan Community Funeral Home, 868 N.

He was born July 24, 1923, in Mequon, the son of Reinhold and Lydia (nee Lemke), Friede. Elroy was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistadt. Elroy was married April 26, 1947, to Ruth Zarling at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ce- darburg. During their 71- year marriage he shared a strong Christian faith with his family. There were many camping trips while the kids were young.

After retiring from Dodge County Highway Department, he and Ruth traveled to Germany and many of the United States in- cluding Alaska and Hawaii. His interests varied from farming, gardening and card playing to investing and inventing. He loved to make improvements to anything he owned or purchased. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ruth; his loving children, David (Janet) Friede, Douglas Kenna Arvold) Friede, Jean (John) Terek, Lois (Steven) Leistico; nine grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchil- dren. Also, survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Friede and a sister, Doris Fick. Visitation is Thursday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Evangelical Lutheran Church in Juneau.

Funeral service will follow at church at noon. The Rev. David Brandt will officiate. Interment Juneau city cem- etery. The family extends thanks to Harbor Village of Greendale for providing a comfortable home and care since October 2017.

1, at her home. Lori was born the daugh- ter of Faye and Beulah (Johnson) Hodgkins on April 11, 1962, in Beaver Dam. She was married to Donald Yelk on Oct. 15, 1988, at St. Catho- lic Church in Beaver Dam.

Lori loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lori is survived by her husband, Donald of Lowell; her children, Edward (Amber) Yelk of Watertown and Karlene Yelk of Lowell; four grandchildren, Samantha, Eddie, Ben, and Damien; her siblings, Clarence, Pat, Darryl, Sharyl and Frank; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sib- lings. A memorial gathering will be held at Koepsell-Mur- ray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m.

Patricia graduated from Freemont Ross High School and then from Maumee Valley Hospital Nursing Program in Toledo, Ohio, where she received the Ann Houck Award for best all-around Her accomplishments were many. She served as the president of the Interna- tional Association of En- terostomal Therapy. Patri- cia helped to qualify and accredited teaching schools in Germany and London, established the International Association for Enterostomal Therapy in Milan, Italy, wrote a script for a teaching video, and authored three booklets for teaching nurses and patients. Patricia enjoyed curling, golfing, playing cards and skydiving. Patricia is survived by her children, Stephen C.

(Shir- ley) Zollars, Kimberly A. (Joseph) LiPuma, and Tamara L. (Dennis) Braaksma; grandchildren, Kyle (Kristin) Braaksma, and Derek (Nikki) Braaksma; great-grand- son, Greyson; great-granddaughter, Winnie. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin B. Zollars, the love of her life.

A Dutch court on Mon- day rejected re- quest to shave 20 years off his age in a case that drew worldwide attention. Ratelband is at lib- erty to feel 20 years younger than his real age and to act Arnhem court said in a press statement. amending his date of birth would cause 20 years of records to vanish from the register of births, deaths, marriages and reg- istered partnerships.
