South, Saskatoon occurred In a Saskatoon Nursing Home on July 21st, 1978. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 25th, 1978 at 1:30 p.m. from Westwood Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. R. L.

McAdam. Surviving are: her loving husband, Donald, 2 sons, William and his wife Alynn of Prince George, B.C. and Curtis of Saskatoon, 4 daughters. Sharon Chapman of Grandora, Donna Chapman of Saskatoon, Mrs. Gene (Jean) Duplessls of Saskatoon and Vicky Chapman of Saskatoon, also five grandchildren.

Sherry and Christopher Chapman, Chrlslnder Cole and Cody Chapman. Mrs Chapman was bom In Georgetown. Ont. and lived her early life at Can-field, Ont. In 1942 she married Donald Chapman and lived at several points In Canada, Including 13 years In Winnipeg, Man.

In 1906 she moved to make her home In Saskatoon, where she has resided until her passing. Mrs. Chapman was a member of the O. R. P.

and the Army Navy and Airforce Veterans Association. Mrs. Chapman had been employed by the Saskatoon City Hospital. Interment will be made In Hlllcrest Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are In care of Wes-twood Funeral Chapel.

Surviving are: two sons, Clifford of Victoria and John of Plenty; 3 grandchildren; Shelly Rogers of Saskatoon, Richard Rogers of Plenty and Susan Jeglum of Sault Ste. Marie; three greatgrandchildren, Derrek, Ted and John Rogers. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Elian (Dolly) In 1974 and by a son, Stafford In 1969.

Mr. Rogers was born in Alllston, Ontario and came west to Plenty, Saskatchewan In 1912. He homesteaded there and continued to farm In the district until coming to Saskatoon 24 years ago. Mr. Rogers was a Life Member of St.

Luke's Lodge No. 165 A.F. A.M. at Plenty. He was an active member of the Plenty United Church and of Knox United Church In Saskatoon.

Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. (Courtesy parking south of the Chapel on 4th Avenue at 25th Street). REMUS The death of Mrs. Elfriede Johanne Remus age 48 years of 1617 Avenue North, Saskatoon occurred In a local hospital on July 21st 1978. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 24th, at 2:00 p.m.

Darrell (Astrid)'Pura, of Saskatoon, one son, Arnold Remus, of Saskatoon, grandchildren Susan and Mark, her mother, Mrs. Alma Timmermann, In Germany, one sister, Mrs. Helga Cordes, in Germany, and one brother, Helmut Timmermann, in Germany. Mrs. Remus was predeceased by her father, George Timmermann.

Mrs. Remus was born in Germany. She Immigrated to Canada in 1953 8t resided in Cavell, before moving Into Saskatoon In 1957. She was an active member of Mayfair. United Church, and was a member' of the U.C.W.

Her love will be cherished forever by her devotion to her loving family. Interment will be made In the Woodlawn Cemetery. He came to Canada with his parents in 1921 and settled near Eston, Sask. He took his schooling in the Eston and Rlchiea Districts. In 1936 he married Violet Calder, qnd together they moved to the farm in the Quill Lake area In 1941.

He was an active sportsman and he had been an enthusiastic participant in baseball, softball, boxing and curling. His family fondly remembers him for his love of the land and of animals and his keen wit and sense of humor. The Funeral Service was held on July 21, 1978 conducted by Rev. Alex Russell from the Wesley United Church Quill Lake. Honorary Pallbearers were: Don Camp, Douglas Cooper, Dave Duguid, Norman Graham John Longmulr, and Rodge Walker.
