Mr. Crews was bom In Devonshire, England and came to Canada In 1910 returning In 1914 to serve In the first world WSr with the British army for 5 years, returning to Saskatoon to his old lob with the city until 1930 when he Joined Saskatchewan Power Corporation, until his retirement In 1947. He married his wife, the former Helen Charko, In 1910 and homesteaded In the Hafford district and had resided there until his passing. He had served on the RM Council, the La Plalne local school board, founding member of the Rosthern Hospital Board, founding member of Rosthern Co-op, original member of Sask. IMieat Pool, Knights of Columbus, member of Duck Lake Senior Citizens. Predeceased by first wife Marle-Martha Klelne In 1942, his second wife Martha Klelne-Perret In 1953 and brother Rene In 1959.

McKERCHER-The death of the Honorable Stewart McKercher, Q.C., age eighty four, occurred at Saskatoon on the twelfth day of November, 1977. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 1977, at 2:00 p.m. from St.

Andrew's Presbyterian Church (20th Street East and Spa-dina Crescent) Saskatoon, conducted by Dr. R. A. Davidson. Surviving are: his loving wife, Marie, two sons and their wives, Robert H.

and Peggy; Donald S. and Shirley; four grandchildren, Mrs. R. Bell (Nancy), Marie, Duncanand Malcolm McKercher; and one brother, Robert G. McKercher of Victoria, B.C.

He was predeceased by his sister Agnes. Mr. McKercher was born in Wroxeter, Ontario, and came to Saskatchewan in 1913. He taught school at Young, Saskatchewan until enlistment on the fourth of October, 1914, going overseas as a lieutenant with the 65th battallion. While overseas he transferred to the Seaforth Highlanders and In July of 1916, joined the Royal Flying Corp and was posted to Number One Squadron France, flying with that squadron until April 1917 when, wounded, he was returned to Canada.

He attended and graduated from Queens University in 1919, and the University of Saskatchewan In 1922. He practised law at Saskatoon until February, 1948 when he was appointed a Justice of the Court of Queen's Bench, romwhich apppolntment he retired In June of 1965. He returned to the practice of Law, and was given an Honorary Life Membership in the Saskatchewan Law Society in May of 1972. During the period of World War II, from 1940 to 1944, he was associated with the Commonwealth Air Training Plan and managed air training schools for the R.C.A.F. and the R.A.F.

at Prince Albert and Caron, Saskatchewan; and Abbotsford, B.C. Mr. McKercher was a member of the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, serving on both the Board of Managers, and the Session of the church. He was a director of the R.C-A.F.

Benevolent Fund, and Honorary Lieutenant Colonel of the Saskatoon Light Infantry Regiment. He served for a number of years on the Boards of St. Paul's Hospital and the Saskatoon City Hospital. He was a charter member of Nutana Curling Club and a member of the Riverside Curling Club, The Canadian Legion and Masonic Lodge. Interment will take plaoein Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Pllon was bom at Pipestone Creek, Manitoba, where her father and mother had migrated from Scotland.

She with her family returned to Scotland, where she was educated. The family returned to Canada In the early part of this century after which she married Archibald Forbes Arnold of Yorkton, Sask. Mr. predeceased her in 1910. There were two children from this marriage, Helen and Fred.

Mrs. Pllon married J. D. (Don) Pllon of Melville, Sask. In 1914.

There were four children from the marralge, Beatrice, Faith, Allan and Betty May. Mrs. Pllon was predeceased by Mr. Pllon in 1975 and by her -daughter Faith In 1951. Surviving are; her children, Helen of Vancouver, Fred of Saskatoon, Beatrice of Vancouver, Allan of Victoria and Betty May Speed of Saskatoon.

She also leaves six grandsons, four granddaughters, eleven great grandchildren, two sisters, Lena of Ottawa and Ottie of Yorkton, Sask. and one brother, Thomas Wight of Prince Albert. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Novanber 15th at 2 p.m. at Wood-lawn Cemetery, Saskatoon. Rev.

The late Mr. Weber was born and raised in Rosenthal, Ontario and married his wife, Wilma, on June 23rd, 1926. 1 1928 he came west to the Avondale district where he farmed until 1938 when he moved to Delisle, Sask. where he was employed as a carpenter with one of the Grain Companies.

Mr. Weber retired in 1961 and moved to Saskatoon and had resided here since Mr. Weber had served during both the First World War and the Second World War. Hlckerson was predeceased by one son Allen In 1973 and one sister Edith Hlckerson In 1974. Mr. Hlckerson was born In Elmvale, Ontarioand came west with his family to homestead in the Biggar District in 1911. He lived at various places in Saskatchewan and Alberta before coming to Saskatoon In 1961. Mr.

Hlckerson was with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaries for a number of years until retiring in 1968. (Bill) Hazell in 1965 and by a son, Phillip Gordon Hunt in 1969. Mrs. Hazell was born In Worcestershire, England on August 6, 1887 and came to Toronto in 1908. In 1910 she came to Saskatoon and married George Hunt in that year. In 1922 she was married to Bill Hazell and continued to make her home in Saskatoon.

Mrs. Hazell was a member of Christ Church and later of St. Luke's Anglican Church and was also a member of the Daughters of England. Interment will take place In Woodlawn Cemetery. Saskatoon Funeral Home is In charge of arrangments.
