Sentencing was deferred to Jail 31 after lawyers Winston McCalla, representing Richardson, McDonald and Red, and Dick Leibel, representing Paetsch, requested the preparation of presentence reports. Trie four were arrested after juveniles questioned by city police Dec. 27 indicated they were involved in house burglaries and car thefts. He four are free on bail.

Meanwhile, a 19-year-old is facing trial on a charge police believe is related to the burglaries and thefts. Gerald George Janzen of Four local youths charged in connection with a rash of SaAatoon burglaries and thefts pleaded guilty in magistrate's court Monday to charges of break, enter and theft and possession of stolen goods. Larry Kelly Paetsch, 17, of 508 10th St. East and Richard Dean McDonald, 16, of 908 Main St. admitted in court to committing four Nutana-area burglaries in which money and stereo equipment valued at Si.OOO was taken.

Andrew Charles Richardson. 16, of 90Carleton Dr.and Randall Gordon Reid, 19, of 1-W6 22nd St. West, arrested with Paetsch and McDonald about two weeks Tenders Court briefs DANGEROUS DRIVER FINED 18-year-old who was charged after a speedy drive April 1 through Saskatoon rush-hour traffic received a S3 50 fine when he appeared in magistrate's court Monday for sentencing on a charge of dangerous driving. Stuart Michael Pearson of 218 vVinnipeg Ave. North was originally charged with criminal negligence but in an earlier court appearance pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of dangerous driving.

According to Crown evidence, the chase began about 5:30 p.m. April 1 when Pearson ignored a stop sign at RubliobTie Road and Avenue vV. He tlien proceeded north on Avenue and a succession of streets at excessive speeds, through four school zones, and was arrested after abandoning his vehicle in the 300 block of Vancouver Avenue North. BROTHERS CHARGED WITH BURGLARY Two men charged with a weekend burglary in Saskatoon were scheduled to reappear in magistrate's court today for a bail hearing on break, enter and theft charges. Darren James Ewenin, 16, and his brother Wilfred Joseph Ewenin, 24, both of 2710 33rd St.

West were arrested during the weekend in connection with a Saturday night break-in at 16 Marlborough Cres. Occupant Victor Weisgerber reported to police that $250 was missing from the house. Darren Ewenin was also charged with possessing a prohibited weapon when police found nunchaku sticks two sticks connected with a flexible cord or chain while arresting him on the other charge. In court Monday the two men were remanded in custody until today. 515 Milliard St.

West is cliarged with contributing to juvenile delinquency relating to at least 10 Nutana-area burglaries in November and December which police belief involved juveniles. Ife was charged after four jtntniles told police a man was enticing them to break into houses and was buying the stolen goods. Janzen is to be tried before a magistrate's court judge under the Juvenile Delinquency Act charge on Feb. 14. He is free on $100 recogni-zaite and is also free on bail on a false pretence charge.

Inquest set into hanging PRINCE ALBERT (CP) -Coroner Percy Hiltz said Monday an inquest will be held Jan. 28 into the hanging death of Edward Morris Johnson, 20, of North Battleford. Johnson was found dead in his cell at the Prince Albert Correctional Centre Dec. U. He was serving a 12-month sentence for theft and a six-mcnth sentence for escaping from the prison work camp.

11th at 2:00 pm. Interment Woodland Cemetery. McBRIDE The passing of Mr. Norman Evans McBride. age 43, occurred In his home in Llovdmln-ster, Sask.

Grace McBride of Kinlstino, one brother, Sgt. David W. McBride, RCAF, Yellowknife, N.W.T., two siste-s, Mrs. Delmar (Shirley) Cleveland, Saskatoon and Mrs. Reid (Muriel) Munro of Saskatoon.

He was predeceased by his father, Norman David McBride in 1949. The late Mr. McBride was bom, raised ana received his education in He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army in 1951 and served in active combat with the P.P.C.I.L. In Korea until 1954, when he returned to Canada In civilian life. After leaving the army, he worked for several years in Alberta and returned to Saskatchewan to work for the CPR Railway In 1961, he moved to Ontario where he worked until 1968.

He returned to work in Saskatchewan and Alberta until the time of his death. Interment took place in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Legion Members, Len Lafoy, George Bolton, Norman Clarkson, George Henry, Bill Comlon, Norman Wiite. SQIEWAGA The late Mrs. Lira Schewaga, born at Alvena, May 13, 1907 passed away January 7, 1978.

(Anne) Mazurik of Saskatoon, Mrs. Emily Rankin of Toronto, Mrs. Ruby Abarmoff, of Toronto, Mrs. B. (Lillian) Poole of Toronto and Mrs.

T. (Mavis) Black of Toronto, five sons. John of St. Catherines, Peter of Virgil, Ontario, Joe of Regina, Walter of Vegreville, and Edward of Virgil, twentyfour grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren, one sister, Sonia and one brother Peter both in the Ukraine. Mrs.

Chernishenko was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1147. Mrs. Chernishenkowasbom in the Ukraine. She came to Canada in 1910 and settled in the Blaine Lake district. Mrs.

Chenishenko moved into Saskatoon to make her home in 1948. She was a member of the Ukrainian Baptist Church since moving to Saskatoon. Interment will be made In the family plot in the Woodlawn Cemetery. GREEN The death of Mr. H.

Harold Sifton (Hi) Green was the youngest son of Susana (Loews) and Joseph E. Green who horhesteaded In Wawanesa, Manitoba. HiGreenwas born In 1899 at Wawanesa and served King and country In the Royal Flying Corps 1917-1918. He bought grain In theGovan, Sask. district before transferring to Glen Ewen where he met and married a young school teacher, Bertha Hoi-llngsworth, from Athens, Ontario.

Insurance underwriting business took him and his growing family to Areola, Weyburn and Prince Albert and finally to Saskatoon in mi to manage Concrete Drainage Pipe Ltd. 1947 saw him connected with t-vans Construction prior to purchasing and managing Builders Supply and Fuel Co. Ltd. from which he retired in 1971. An enthusiastic sportsman HI Creen left hismark In the field of sports as a boxer In the Royal Flying Corps, baseball player in Wawanesa and Areola and as a curler throughout his years.

In 1944 he plaved on the Saskatchewan Briar Team, won many bonspiels across northern Saskatchewan and visited Scotland as a member of cam Canada in I960. Active Incnnv munltv affairs Mr. Green had been associated with the Saskatoon Board of rade and Rotary Club. Hit was an honorary lite member and past president of the Nutana Curling Club, past president ot the Veterans Curling lub. the Saskatoon Old Timers Association, the Old Boy's Club and the Saskatchewan Lawn Bowling Association.

He was a past President ot the United Commercial rovelers Council No. 445. Mr. Green was currently a member of the Pioneer of the Ysar Committee of Saskachlmo Exposition Ltd, a member nf the provincial board ul Senior Cltlens "Action Now" and a member of Saskatoon Branch No. 63 Royal Canadian Legion.

A member ot the Masonic order, he was a member of Areola Lodge No, 21 A F. ft A.M., Saskatoon Ihapfer No. 4 R.A Saskatoon Preccplory No. Sit the Wa-Wa Shrine Temple and the Saskatoon Shrine flub. Regush was bom and raised at Vonda, Sask. She married her husband, John, in 1934 and they farmed in the district until retiring in 1975 when they moved to the town of Vonda and had resided there since. (Continued) RAWLYK On Wednesday, January 4, 1978 at 2:30 a.m., at the Health Science Centre, Sister M. Agatha (Mary) Rawlyk died peacefully in the Lord at the ageof eighty. Sister Agatha was born on July 28, 1897, in Horodenka, Stanislawowa, Poland.

In May 1898, she iourned to Canida with her parents and settled In Rosthern, Saskatchewan. On August 3, 1916, Sr. Agatha entered the Benedictine Community in Win-nip and committed herself to the Benedictine way of life by religious profession on February 11, 1918. During most of her life of dedicated service, Sister was farm manager whai the community was located at Arborg, Manitoba. Sister also had a special way with bees.

She was a beekeeper from 1926 until 1975 and with the years of experience becme an authority. Many school children and adults, fascinated by her apiary skills, sought out her wisdom and experience. For many years, the community enjoyed both the honey and the candles which camefrom the hives she kept. When failhg health forced her to give up the apiary, candlemaking and gardening, Sr. Agatha took up craf-twerk, especially liquid embrodiery andquilt-making.

Shealwavs maintained a love tor the outdoors and grew daily in her love for the Creator. Sister Agatha added beauty to the lives of those she touched. We will remember her for her gentle and loving presence. Sister was predeceased by her father in 1KJ0, her motier in 1952, and six brothers and sisters. She is survived by one sister, Mrs.

He later farmed at Jansen, Viscount and Leroy until retiring to Nipawin where he lived until coming to make his home in Saskatoon two years ago. Mr. Barclay was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 309 at Leroy and a Lite Member of Lamgan Lodge No. 84 A.F.
