M. Glatfelter and Maurice Wehler. Formwalt Reunion Held The twelfth annual reunion of the Formwalt family was held Sunday at Geiman's Park with an attendance of 161. The order of the program was as follows, the president, Milton Reinecker, presiding; Songs with Mrs. Lesilo Reinecker at the piano; prayer by the president; reading of the minutes by the secretary, Granville Reinecker; statistical report given by the historian, Miss Ruth Dutterer, which showed nine births, five marriages and five during the year; Several guitar selections by William Worley; Solo by Norman Donaldson.

Short talks given by Milton Reinecker, Miss Mary Heltibridle, Harvey Formwalt, Mrs. Francis Gables, Clayton Ickes, Charles Reinecker and Leslie Reinecker. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Milton B. Reinecker, Wilkesbarre, vice president, Charles D. Reinecker, York Springs; secretary treasurer, Granville L.

Reinecker, Littlestown; historian, Miss Ruth M. Dutterer, Silver Run; Miss Mary Heltibridle, program committee. It was decided to hold the next reunion at Geimans Park. Barbara Ann Scheller, dau- hter of Mr. and Mrs.

Tabor Park on the third Sati urday in August. Maring Reunion Held The fifth annual reunion of the Maring family was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Maring, near Woodbine. Maryland, on Saturday, August 21.

The crowd assembled in the morning and acquaintances were renewed between relatives and friends. During the noon hour din- ner was served to about 43 persons. At 2:30 p.rn- ice cream and cake were served. After dinner the meeting was called to order by the chairman, Raymond Maring, Woodbine. Prayer was then offered by Miss Elsie Shryock.

The historian Miss Ruth Schwartz made her report as follows: Joan Elijah-th Maring daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Maring was born April 30. 1937. Willis Plank, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Emory Plank, was married May 15, 1937. Harry Maring was married on March 27, 1937. The minutes of the preceding year were i read by the secretary, Gladys Mar- ing, Woodbine- Next on the program was a duet. The meeting was closed with singing, Be The Tie That Kindig-Basehoar Reunion The annual Kindig-Basehoar reunion was held on Saturday at Pipe Creek Park, along the Taneytown-Westminster road Luncheon was served at noon.

At 2 a short program was given as follows: Songs by the group; address of welcome, Dorothy Kindig; piano duets, Mrs. E. Roy Kindig and Miss Helen Kindig; reading, Anna Louise Bair; piano solo, Ethel Kindig; reading. Mrs. E.

At the business meeting, the following officers for the coming year were named: President, George Basehoar, Littlestown; vice president, Miss Esther Basehoar, Littlestown, secretary, Miss Helene Kindig, Littlestown; treasurer, Armor Weikert. The following committees were appointed: Program, Mrs. George Maus, Mrs. Alvin Dutterer, Mrs.

Curvin Feeser; amusements, Mrs. Roy Kindig; place of meeting, George Basehoar, Littlestown, Calvin Harman and John Kindig. After the business meeting Mrs E. Roy Kindig, Union Mills, took charge and awarded the following prizes: Oldest lady present, Mrs. George Kindig; oldest man present, George Baseboar, Littlestown; youngest child.

Wintrode Reunion Sunday The first reunion of the descendants of Ephraim and Elizabeth Wintrode will be held Sunday at Christ Reformed church picnic grounds, near Littlestown.

The flower exhibit of the Blue Ridge Summit section was held in the Parish House on Saturday afternoon from 1:30 to 3 o'clock. The flowers exhibited were thase grown from seeds and bulbs distributed by the Blue Ridge garden club early in the spring. Girls receiving awards were: 1st, marigolds, Nancy Benchoff; 1st, zinnias. Dorothy Bloom; 1st, calendulas, Margaret Small; 1st, collection of zinnias, Ethel Bloom; 2nd, collection of zinnias, Geraldine Brown; 3rd. zinnias, Harriet Eyler.

1st, Mrs. William Bloom; 2nd, Mrs. John Bloom. There were 31 exhibits in the lot. Ribbons were given to the winners and they will be given bulbs in the early fall by the garden club.

Judges were: Miss Bland Taylor, Mrs. G. Gillmore and Miss Margaret Ramsey. The children were treated to ice cream at the close of the show. Heil-Warner Clans Gather The first reunion of the Heil and Warner families was held last Sunday at Forest park.

The Rev. A. Hollinger, Hanover, pastor of the West Manheim Lutheran charge, acted as temporary chairman, and a permanent organization was ef- fected by the election of the fol- lowing officers: President, John vv. Warner; vice president, Samuel Heilman; secretary, Clarence Fuhrman and treasurer, Brayton Warner. It was decided to hold the next reunion Sunday.

Sell Fidler and son Harold, and daughter. Joan, spent some time in York where they attended the American Legion convention. Mr. Fidler represented the Ira E. Lady post at the convention.

Miss Pauline Routsong spent several days with Miss Phyllis Grove, Carlisle. The condition of Charles Lerew, who suffered a stroke while working on the Gettysburg-Biglerville highway, remains unchanged.
