Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. W. (Rose) Harbus. Dana, Sask. and Mrs.

J. (Josephine) Bod-nar. Saskatoon; two sons, Frank of Winnipeg and Stanley of Dana, seven grandchildren and two ereat- grandchildren. He was predeceased his wife Ross In 1964. Interment will take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Arrangements are in care of Westwood Funeral Chapel. 11-23-c FOSS THE DEATH OF EMERY Ellis Foss. age 73 years, of 604 32nd Street, West. Saskatoon, occurred suddenly at his residence on Nov. 21st.

1973. The funeral service will be held on Saturday. Nov. 24th at 10.00 a.m. from McKague's Funeral Home, conducted by Rev, Stewart Dingwall.

Surviving are: his wife, Marjorie: two daughters, Mrs. Doug (Verla) Pritchard, of Edmonton, and Mrs. Gerry (Wilma) Hallam of Sas-' katoon: three sons, Everett, Vernon, and Stewart, all of Saskatoon: 26 grandchildren; nnd three great-grandchildren. Mr. Foss was born in Ontario.

He came to Wilkie in 1917 and homesteaded and farmed there until moving to Saskatoon In 1949. Mr. Foss was employed with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool from 1949 until retiring in 1964. The family would appreciate donations to the Heart Fund, 703 Canada Building rather than floral tributes. Interment will be made "in the Hlllcrest Memorial Gardens.

Guest parking directly south of Funeral Home, 3rd Ave. and 20th Street. 11-23-c HAMILTON THE DEATH OF VIOLA Leonora Hamilton of Leroy occurred in Humboldt on November 13th ,1973 at the age of 59 years. Born In Jansen, she was married to Albert Hamilton In 1933 and she lived In the Leroy district until her passing. She was an active member of the Lerov United Church, teaching Sun day School and as a member of the choir.

She is survived by her hus-banrt Albert, her mother Mrs. Boni- kosky of Medicine Hat; two daughters, Mrs. Vera (Enid) Campbell of Saskatoon and Mrs. Cliff (Nova) Luchsinger of Leroy; three sons, Wayne of Tahsis, B.C., Fred of Leth-bridge and Gordon of Saskatoon. Also nine grandchildren.

Three sisters: Freda Schroeder of Jansen, Leona Sproule of Leroy and Esther Demofsky of Kelowna. Included in the large congregation were relatives and friends from Alberta, Manitoba and British Columbia. Funeral services were held from Grace United Church on Friday November 16th with Rev. M. Spencer and Rev.

I. Fraser officiating. Interment was in the Leroy cemetery. Pallbearers wer: John Sproule, Eldon Schroeder. Doug Demofsky.

Malko was born in the Ukraine and came to Canada, settling In the Aberdeen, Sask. district in 1912. He married Jean Smolinski in 1918 and farmed in the Aberdeen district until retiring in 1948. Mr. Malko had lived In the Town of Vonda since 1948.

He was an active member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church at Smuts and more recently at Vonda, and also a member of the Mohyla Institute. Interment will take place In the Ukrainian Orthodox Section of Woodlawn cemetery. Mrs. R. Wismer (Betty), of Macklin one son. A. Donald McEwen of Port Credit, Ontario; also 19 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Mrs. McEwen was predeceased by her husband. Dr. Robert McEwen. June 13th.

1954. A resident of Saska. toon for the past 61 years, Mrs. McEwen was born in Walkerton. Ontario and came to Saskatoon in 1912 when she married Dr.

McEwen and had continued to reside in Saskatoon until her passing. Mrs. McEwen was a member of Knox United Church. In the early days she was acUve In Knox Church and the Red Cross. Interment will be made In the family plot' in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

11-23-c MINERS THE DEATH OF MRS. Ida Ethel Miners, age 78 years, of 241 Main Street, saskatoon, oceurred in a local hospital on November 21st, 1973. The funeral service will be held on Saturday. Nov. 24th at 2.00 p.m.

Frank Davidson of Saskatoon; and one brother, George Beirness of Asquith, Mrs. Miners was predeceased by her husband. Clarence in July. 1973. Mrs.

Miners was born at Osier, and raised in the Asquith district She moved to Saskatoon In 1911, nnd had resided here since. Mrs. Miners was an active member of the Grace Westminster United Church for the past 50 years. and was a member of the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 4, Saskatoon.

Interment will be made in the family plot in- the Woodlawn Cemetery. Saskatoon, former ly of Speers, occurred at his residence on November 21st, 1973.

Elizabeth of saskatoon; one daughter, Miss Olive Russell of Saskatoon; two sons, George Russell of Speers and Desmond Russell of Lansing. 10 grandchildren; two sisters. Miss Marie Russell and Miss Vera Russell, both of Belfast, Ireland. Mr. Russell was predeceased by two sons, Vincent, while serving with the R.C.A.F.

in 1944 and Charles in 1951. Mr. Russell was bom DownPatrlck. Ireland, came to Canada in 1905, returned to Ireland, returning to Canada again in 1924 where he settled in Plenty. Sask.

In 1927 he moved to the Speers district where he farmed until retiring to Saskatoon in 1956. The family would appreciate donations to the St, Ann's Home or Charity of the donor's choice in lieu of flowers. Maureen, in 1971; also by two broth, ers and four sisters. Born in Rosenthal. Ontario in 1888, Mr. Summach came west in 1908 to farm at As quith where he and the late Mrs. Summach resided until moving to Saskatoon In 1950.

Mr. Summach was a member of the Asqulth Baptist Church and a popular resident of the Avondale community, and friends and acquaintances will not forget his humorous nature and his wide In' terest in farming in whicb he excelled.
