and lived the earlv part of his life in that area. He taught school at points in the eastern part of Saskatchewan for several years and was grain buyer fur Sask. Wheal Pool for several vears, Mr. Kvba liad lived in Saskatoon for the past 20 vears and was manager of European Meat Products here. He was active in many community affairs and had served as Treasurer of the Mohvla Institute and as National Treasurer of the Ukrainian Self Reliance Association of Canada.

Floral tributes are gratefully declined, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. 305 Central Chambers or the Sask. Heart Foundation. 7U8 Canada Building appreciated. Interment will take place in the Ukrainian Orthodox Section.

Williams served as a captain in the British armv. South Wales Borderers. He served in India, the Middle East and the Greek islands and was made prisoner of war on the Island of Leros in 1943. He lectured in law at Cambridge in 1945-46 following which he accepted an appointment as pro fessor of law at Queen's University in Belfast. He joined the faculty of law at the University of Saskatchewan in 1961 and was appointed assistant Dean in I960.

Professor Williams was serving as president of the United Nations Association in Canada this vear and was a past president of the North Saskatchewan Branch. He served as Director and Vice-chairman of Canadian University Sendee Overseas 1965 to 1969 and was a past vice-chairman of the Executive Committee of Canadian University Service Overseas; a member of the National Research Committee of the Canadian institute of international Affairs and a past chairman of the Saskatoon Branch of the Canadian Institute of International Affairs. He was a member of the Advisory Group to the Minister of External Affairs and was a founding director of the Canadian Council for International Law. In May 1969. Prof.

Williams accepted an assignment to re-write the constitution of the Canadian University Sendee Overseas which Involved visiting 15 countries in Asia. East Africa. Central Africa and Europe and discussions with government departments and volunteers in the field on the nature and extent of the CUSO operation, Professor WilPams was an active member of Grosvenor Park United Church and the Saskatoon Rotary Club.
