(AP) Actress Jane Fonda end six companions were arrested Saturday in a car reported stolen by Hertz Corp. employees, but police said it was just a mlxup. Police said Miss Fonda and her French companions had rented a car from Avis at Detroits Metro Airport but mistakenly drove away in a Hertz parked nearby. The group was stopped by police in Ann Arbor while making a college lecture tour.

Reg. in March of 1969 and a sister. Mrs. C. Johnston (Edith) in Nov 1969.

A resident of Saskatoon all nis life, Mr. Badger was born in Sutherland and took his schooling at the Sutherland School. He was with the Puritv Dairy for many years and the former Harold Smith service station At the time of his death he was employed at the Club Billiards. Mr. Baager bad willed his body for medical research.

18 grandchildren: one great grandchild; three sisters. Mrs. Vera Danyliuk, Struan. Mrs G. (Nellie) Masteile, Saskatoon, Mrs.

T. (Nettie) Beregnie, Biggar, Sask. He was predeceased by one daughter, three sisters and two brothers. The late Mr. Fertuck was born in the Ukraine and came to Canada in 1905 He homesteaded in the Struan.

Sask district where he farmed until retiring in 1950. Mr. Fertuck had lived in Saskatoon for the past 20 vears. Interment will take place in the Ukrainian Orthodox Section, Wood-lawn Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Westwood Funeral Chapel.

12-9-C HENDERSON THE DEATH OF Dalton Henderson of 220 5th Street. East Saskatoon occurred on December 2nd. 1970. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday. December 8th at 2 pm.

from McKagues Funeral Home, surviving are two slaters. Mrs. Velma Preston of Cam-duff, Sask and Mrs. Bernice Walker of Edmonton. Mr.

Henderson was predeceased by tils wife. Eleanor oa March 22nd. 1963. Mr. Henderson served overseas In World War One.

Interment til the family plot In Vancouver. B.C. 12-8-0 UNRAU THE PASSING OF PETER W. Unrau, age 55 years, of Pierce-Iand, occurred in a Saskatoon hospital oa Dec 5. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday.

Dec. 9. at 2.00 p.m. from the United Church at Pierceland, conducted by Rev. Henry Reddekopp.

Park Funeral Chapel will be in charge Surviving are: three brothers. William of Saskatoon. John of Pierceland. and Jake of Edmonton. Alberta Born in Blaine Lake.

Mr. Unrau took Ms schooling at Uarthland School. In the late 1 950s he moved to the Pierce-land district where be had resided until his passing. Interment wiU be made in the Pierceland Cemetery. 12-8-c VonHAGEN THE DEATH OF Julius George William VonHagen.

age 76 years, of 219 Ave F. South. Saskatoon. occurred in local hospital on December 5th. 1970.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday. Dec 8 at 3.30 p.m. from McKagues Funeral Home, conducted by Archdeacon H. W. Brandrick.

Surviving are: three daughters. Mrs. E. (Phyllis) War-nock, Nipawin. Mrs.

M. (Shirley) Lee, Saskatoon, and Mrs, C. (June) Koloskj, Rossburn. five sons. Elmore.

Winnipeg. Wallace, Montreal, Dale. Cold Lake, Alberta and Garrv and Lee of Saskatoon: 27 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr VonHagen was predeceased bv his wife. Hazel Mae.

on July 12, 1969, also three sisters and four brothers Mr. VonHagen was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 28, 1894, moving to Elkton, Wis. in 1898. In 1910 he moved to Canada to Kalvwhurst near Vidora. and lived there until his marriage to Hazel Mae Pringle in 1920.

After homesteading in the Vidora district thev moved to the U.S.A for seven years, returning to Minto. then resided at CrackneU. Manitoba until 3945 when they made their home in Rossburn. In 1957 they moved to Saskatoon. When Mr VonHagen retired from the National Gram Co in 1962.

they continued to reside in Saskatoon. Interment will be made in the family plot. Woodlawn Cemetery. Guest parking directly south of the Funeral Home. 3rd Ave.

he was born in Russia, came to Canada at the turn of the century. As a boy, he Lived for a short time with Quakers in the Untied States, but the remainder of his education was completed in Saskatchewan. He was the first Doukhobor University graduate (Law 1018) and practiced in Saskatoon until shortly before his death. He lived strenuously, with gusto and good humor. He had tremendous energy and tenacity He held firm convictions but his loyalty to friends and family members never faltered when they failed to live up to his high expectations.

Most of his free time was devoted to political action In support of humanitarian goals. He was fortunate to have shared in the successful fights to achieve Important social advances such as universal hospitalization and medicare insurance. He was one of the original C.C.F. group and he revered his friend, the late S. Woodsworth.

its first leader, who was. like himself, committed to democratic socialism and pacifism. In recent vears he concentrated on promoting the idea of establishing world peace through World Government. He came to believe that without a sound structure of humane enforceable international law, mankind could never hope to avoid a nuclear holocaust. Successful as he was as a Canadian lawyer and public figure, he cherished his ties with Russian culture and tiie best aspects of the Doukhobor heritage, which for him meant a Tolstoyan Quaker-Uke religion and the rejection of violence and militarism.

Of his immediate family, he is survived bv hi widow Mrs. Helen Makaroff (nee Marshall) of Saskatoon; a daughter. Dr Barbara Hayden of California, and a son. Dr. Robert Makaroff of Vancouver, and eight grandchildren; also three sisters and one brother.

A fortunate few wiU remember him as a man who was in spirit as much a father to them as their own natural parent, and he had a host of close friends and ad mirers. The family Is honoring his very firm requests for cremation, and that no memorial service be held.
