Charles Charters Mason, age 59 years of .156 Milroy Apartments. Saskatoon, occurred suddenly at his residence on Monday. May 17th The funeral service will bs held on Wednesday. May 19th at 2 p.m. from Westwood Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev.

R. Shaw (Judy), Richmond. B.C.; one son. Doug. Vancouver: four grandchil dren; three cousins.

George Charters Saskatoon, Robert Charters. Goderich, Ont. and Mrs. Elizabeth Pullman. London.

Ont. The late Mr. Mason was bom at Seaforth. Ontario and came to Saskatoon with his parents at an early age. He attended public and high school and the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon before completing lis education at St.

Johns College in Winnipeg He began his hockey career with the Wesleys in 1931 and was a member of the 1932-33 team which advanced to the Western Canada final. Mr. Mason turned pro with the New York Rangers and played in Providence. Cleveland and Vancouver before plaving two years with the Rangers. He finished his pro career Willi Saskatoon Crescents then coached the Elks team for one year.

Mr. Mason had operated an insurance business for the past several years. He was active in the YMCA and a member of the Twin Lodge No. 69 AF AM. Saskatoon.
