While living In the community. Mr. Montgomery was active in sports, particularly baseball, he w48 also actively interested in the Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Interment will be made in the Zion Lulheran Church Cemetery et Horse Butte, Sask. 5-31-c WOODS THE DEATH OF MRS, Armanda Jane Woods, age 94 years, of 1614 Lome Avenue, Saskatoon, and a pioneer of the WiLon Lake district, occurred in a local nursing home on May 28th, 1968, The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1st at LOO p.m. from the Chapel of Saskatoon Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Ross Stewart. Surviving are: her husband Howard; one son, Arden Waddell of Caigary; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six gieat-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Woods was bom in Ontario and lived in Michigan during her early years. She came west to Saskatchewan in 1913 and took a homestead In the ftilson Lake district where she farmed for eight jears. In 1921 she married Howard Woods and lived hi Biggar wliere she operated a nursing home for 10 sear. For the past 21 years she had resided in Saskatoon.

Mrs. Woods was a member of Second Street United Church. Interment ill take place in Biggar Cemetery.
