A study of Maine's winding coast by the federal Soil Conservation Service found that 500 miles of property, most of it privately owned, was suffering from serious erosion damage. Guigras was bom October 8. 19i3 at Out-ram, and received his education at the Oti tram School. On November 20, 1938, he was married to Anne Wanner, and they resided at Torquay end farmed in the Torquay district. Later, Mr. Gingras whs employed with the Construction of Boundary Dam at Estevan.

and from i9o9 until 1961, he resided at Elbow, Saskatchewan and worked on the Construction of the South Saskatchewan Dam. In 1962, he came back to Estevan and had been employed as Drag Line Operator at Utility Coal Co until his death. Mr Gingras was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Predeceased bv a sister. Mrs.

Marian Bouchard, Mr. Gingras is survived bv his wife, Anne, three sons Roger of Saskatoon; two eons; Waiter and Richard of Estevan; two brothers Philip of New Westminster, Eugene of Laurter, Manitoba: four sisters: Mrs. Ailma Bouchard of Estevan: Mrs. Beatrice Duff of Estevan Mrs. Eva Marcotte of Torquay; Mrs.

Aurora Coss of Pine Falls, Manitoba Recitation of the Rosary and raver Services were held in the Cha-oel of the Estevan Funeral Home at 8hO om.
