Dubcek feels imprisoned THE HAGUE (Reuter) Two Dutch journalists recently expelled from Czechoslovakia Friday quoted former Com- munist party leader Alexander Dubcek as saying he now lives in a prison without walls. The two, reporter Rene de Bok and photographer Charles Vlek, were writing in the Dutch magazine, Elsevlers, about a brief meeting they had with Dubcek outside his office near Bratislava. The two journalists said in a joint report that they were arrested by Czech security police soon after the meeting nine days ago and were questioned for nearly 30 hours before being expelled. The journalists said that after finding Dubceks home guarded by three soldiers armed with stenguns, they waited outside the forestry ministry office where he works.

When he approached, they asked whether he is still persecuted. They said Dubcek told them: Im not a-free person, you know that. I live in a prison without walls. They said Dubcek, who had asked them to leave because police were watching, then quickly contradicted what he had said by adding: I can go anywhere I am not lacking anything. You can see that Im living.
