The flow lasted for six hours, it was learned yesterday, and it is feared that the bass and other fish at the mouth of the river may die as a result of the outbreak.

Representatives of the State fish and game commission are expected there today to investigate. It is understood a chemist will be among the party which has been requested to view the results of the overflow. The refuse dam contains the liquids which have been used in purifying the sugar.
