Jerome will play like a fighting backwoods farmer who leads a band of mountain men in forays through the Indian country and the Southwest in the 1820's. Mary Jane Croft makes her flicker debut, in "Christmas in Paradise." She'll play the domineering aunt of little Patty Mc-Cormack. Mary Jane is a regular on the "I Love Lucy" and "Here Come the Nelsons" teleshows, and also is the voice of Cleo, the pooch, on the Jackie Cooper show. Alan Hale and Bobby Clark have top roles in the new "Casey Jones" scries, inspired by the life and times of the famous en gineer. The filming is being done in Sonora, with the original Cannonball Express on its special narrow gauge track.

The Ida Lupino-Hovvard Duff starrer, "Mr. Adams and Eve," has been renewed for another season, and Ida and Howard will use a name star in each of their new episodes. Hugh O'Brian has been penciled for a part.
