It is now known as The Rite Spot. Well, that takes care of vacation, pension, office hours and coffee breaks now, what will be my job? Provincial Funeral service was held for Thomas Tomblin, 86, pioneer re sident of the Mozart district. Mr. Tomblin was born in England and came to Canada at an early age. After working in the Carberry, Man.

district for ten years, he came to Saskatchewan where he filed on a homestead in the Mozart district in 1904. In 1908 he married Ann Jane Campbell who predeceased him in 1933. In 1936 he married Harriet Wareham. who predeceased him in 1947. Mr.

Tomblin served on the RM council of Elfros for 20 years and on the Little Quill School Board for several years. For eleven years he lived with a stepdaughter at Clair, but returned to the family home at Mozart in 1959. He is survived by one daughter, Gertrude, Mrs. S. Mozart, and one sister in England.

Rev. G. A. Steele, Wynyard, officiated at the service held in All Hallows Church, Mozart. Interment was in Pleasantview cemetery, Wynyard.

Mrs. Anne S. Sundbo, 84, pioneer resident of Weldon died recently in the Kinistino hospital after a brief illness. Funeral service was held in the Weldon Lutheran Church with Rev. C.

Stal-wick officiating. Mrs. Sundbo was bom at Kristiansand, Norway. In 1902 she married Osmund D. Sundbo and in 1908 the couple emigrated to Canada and settled In the Birch Hills district.

They went back to Norway in 1919 and returned to Canada in 1928. In 1939 they moved to Weldon where they have resided to the present. Mrs. Sundbo leaves to mourn, her widower; two daughters, Mrs. Ted Kiev and Mrs.

S. Apesland of Weldon; and four sens, Daniel and Reider of Prince Albert; Oscar of Birch Hills, and Arthur of Caronport. Funeral service for Hugh Hunter Wilson, 75, was held in Tisdale St. Pauls United Church. Mr.

Wilson passed away suddenly at his home in Tisdale. The service was conducted by the Rev. Norman Quigley. Burial was made in Tisdale Cemetery. Mr.

Wilson was born in Ayr, Scotland. He came to Canada in 1910, settling in Manitoba. From 1919 until 1933 he farmed near Guernsey. In that year he moved to this district. He married Cora Fisher at Humboldt in 1933.

He Is survived by his widow, three sisters and one brother. One sister and three brothers prede ceased him. Mr. Wilsons three brothers were killed on active service during World War I. TENDERS TENDERS Tender are invited from firm in terested in supplying one 42 passenger and one 26 school bus.

Pauls Lutheran Church at Eatonia with the Rev. F. E. Gaertner officiating. Burial was made in Eatonia cemetery, Mr.

Radies was bom in Bessarabia and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. In 1910, he married Amalie Bader, and came to Canada and settled in the Stony Vista district. Six sons and four daughters were bora of this marriage. Mrs. Radies died in 1943.

In November, 1944, Mr. Radies married the former Mrs. Katie Marius of Melville, and continued to farm in the district until retiring to Eatonia in 1945. He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Stella Babichuk, of Lucky Lake, and Mrs.

Hilda Jasman, Eatonia; and five sons, Arthur, Otto, Ernest, Trowget and Hugo, all of Eatonia and La Porte. 850 Cases Pork Distributed YORKTON, A total of 850 cases of canned pork were given to social aid recipients, unemployed and those who receive a provincial government pension here recently. L. Cook, with the help of one member of the city works department, was in charge of the distribution of the canned meat at the storage building of the public works department. Allotment was made on the basis of one carton, 24 tins, for each member of the family.

There was no trouble encountered as recipients had previously applied for the meat and a list of persons receiving social aid had been made. Forms were sent out from the government to those receiving a. provincial government pension and the unemployed were required to have slips stamped by the local office of the Unemployment Insurance Office. Milne, Calgary, was fined $75 and costs and prohibited from driving for two weeks when he appeared before Magistrate G. T. Killam. On April 17, Milne, while driving on Broadway Street here turned off onto No. 9 highway and struck a vehicle stopped at the stop sign.

B. Glen (Eileen) of Saskatoon, and Miss Gail at home. The late Mr. Winters was born on June 21, 1934 in Saskatoon. He attended Wilson and Caswell schools, Bedford Road Collegiate and University of Saskatchewan, graduating in Bachelor of Commerce in 1955.

He was employed for three years by Hudsons Bay and spent 18 months at the University of California, where he graduated as Master of Business Administration in 1959. He was presently at Mount Royal College In Cal gary which is an extension of the University of Alberta. He Was winner of the Hub City Curling cham pionships in 1955. and was a charter member of Saskatoon Chapter of De Molav Interment will take place in the family plot in Woodlawn Cemetery. Lima is survived by his widow, Aastra; two sons, Samuel and Olaf; and three daughters, Mrs. D. Young of Weldon and Thelma and Esther at home. Mrs, Martin Bernard Martinson, 78, pioneer Meota resident, died suddenly at her home recently. Funeral service conducted by the Rev.

Allan Johnston was held in Meota United Church and burial made in Meota cemetery. Mrs. Martinson was born In Alexandria, Minn, and in 1907 married Mr. Martinson at Elbow. They homesteaded there until 1930 when they moved to the Meota district and farmed until 1944 when they moved into the village where they have since resided.

Mrs. Martinson was an active member of the United Church and its WA. She is survived by her widower; one son, Reuben, Meota; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Corcoran, Dodsland; one brother, William Bemdt, Elbow; end one sister, Mrs. Sophia Benson, Elbow.

James Rowlett, 79, retired Rose Valley farmer, died recently in a Regina hospital after a long illness. Funeral service was held in the Anglican Church at Rose Valley and burial made in Rose Valley cemetery. Mr. Rowlett was born in Rumford, England, and with his wife emigrated to the Rose Valley district soon after the turn of the century. They farmed in the district until 1953 when they retired to live in the village.

Mrs. Rowlett died last year. Mr. Rowlett is survived by four sons and three daughters. SIDE GLANCES Til see if my sister's here.
