During the signing of the register, Miss Annie Phillips sang, "The Day of Golden Promise" very sweetly. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. The table was covered with a cutwork cloth and centred with brides cake set in a cloud of pink tulle. Bowls of sweet peas and larkspur were effectively used throughout the rooms. The brides mother was gowned in navy blue silk crepe with inset lace collar and cuffs, and gray hat.

Mrs. A. Stevens, sister of the bridegroom, wore green flowered georgette witli hat to match. Mrs. M.

sister of the bridegroom, was in flowered chiffon with a white hat. Mr. and Mrs. Cutts left later in the afternoon for a honeymoon at Banff. The bride traveled in a frock to two-toned green suede crepe, with hat of green mohair trimmed with green satin.
