Mr. and Mrs. Paul Troxell and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Troxell went to the Dallas State Fair last week.

Henson of Lake Worth; five sisters, Mrs. Faye Moore and Mrs. Pearl Murphy of Denison, Mrs. E. G.

Richards of Spring town, Mrs. Edith Singleton and Mrs. Frank Matthews of Dallas; and one grandchild. Funeral services were held Friday in the Greenwood Baptist Church with Rev. A.

Contestants Named For Pecan Queen The Wise County Pecan Show to be held Nov. 17-18 in the First National Bank, Decatur will also include a food show and contest which is open to any high school girl in Wise county who represents a town or community. Clarence Ray was at the bedisde of her mother-in- law, Mrs. Ada Perkins Ray, 87, when she passed away Oct. 20 in Ranger. Following funeral services on Friday afternoon, she was buried in Eastland. Mrs.

Ray had lived in Fort Worth for 19 years before moving to Ranger in 1960. Survivors include two sons, D. Pat Ray oi Fort Worth and John W. Ray Jr. of Monahans; and two daughters, Miss Nell Ray of Breckenridge and Mrs.

John A. Bates of Ranger. Miss Dana McCarroll, who teaches in Olney, spent last weekend here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M.

R. McCarroll. Wedding Planned Kathleen Freeman of Arlington and Leonard Barty Boydston plan a November wedding. Kathleen is employed at Vogue Wigs Inc. in Fort Worth and Barty, a junior at Arlington State College is employed at The Eldridge Shop on the campus.
