He is survived by his daughters, Anne (Jason) Jones, Sara (Hazen) Bezanson; and son, David (Jo-lee Bertrand): grandchildren, Payne and Finlay Jones, Margaret -Anne Bezanson, Owen and Evangeline Bisal: his sister-in-law, Anne McMunagle; nephew, John Clarke) McMunagle: uncle, Grant (Judie) Ireland: his step brothers and sisters, Lawrence (Linda) Sapieha, Elaine Jerry) Stadnyk, Ken (Donna) Sapieha and Ron (Vonnie Sapieha; as well as various cousins and extended family in Saskatchewan. Marvin was born near Rush Lake, SK.

His parents were forced to leave the family farm during the Depression and so he spent most of his youth in Saskatoon. He joined the Naval Reserve (UNDT) in 1951 while at the University of Saskatchewan. Upon graduating from Law School he articled in Vancouver and was called to the Bar in 1957. Instead of going into private practice he decided to go to sea. His early career was spent aboard various ships including the HMCS Cedarwood, HMCS Sioux and HMCS Terra Nova.

During this time he met Margaret in Victoria and they would later marry in Halifax in 1962. He joined the Judge Advocate Generals Branch and during his career was posted to various bases in Canada, France, Germany and East Africa. He retired as a Commander from the Navy in Victoria, in 1982. After retirement, he joined the Veterans Affair's Department, as a Pension's Advocate. He job immensely, particularly helping Veterans and their families.

Special thanks to Dr. Maskey and to Flaminio Blanco for their support, care and understanding during this difficult time. A Memorial Service will be held at McCall Bros, Johnson and Vancouver on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice. SK and later trained as a Registered Nurse a at Moose Jaw Union Hospital. She married Victor Walker in 1958 and they lived in Estevan where Phyllis worked at St.

Josephs Hospital. In 1967 the family moved to Saskatoon and after her daughters grew up she worked at The Bay for many years. Phyllis loved to play golf in the summer and curl in the winter as well as being very artistic in painting and needlepoint. She also enjoyed many years of fellowship in the Saskatoon K-ette Club. The family expresses a special thanks to the Palliative Homecare team, Dr.

Dahl, and staff at the Cancer Clinic. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 24, 1:30 p.m. at Mayfair United Church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. After arrangements at Prairie interment be at The Spadina 'Cres.

PHYLLIS ANNE WALKER December 2, 1934 November 16, 2009 -1424923 JUSTINA EPP November 15, 1915 November 18, 2009 Justina Epp passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Rosthern Mennonite Nursing Home. She leaves to mourn one son, Rupert (Bernice) Epp: one daughter, Janet (Rueben) Wendland: five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister; one brother; as well as many relatives and friends. She is predeceased by parents, Henry D. and Susanna Epp: her husband, Henry: one grandson, Kelly Epp; and one sister, Frieda Heppner.

The Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Zoar Mennonite Church, Waldheim, SK with Pastors Henry and Erna Funk officiating. Born in Newcastle, NB in 1935, Gwen graduated from Harkins High School in 1953 at the top of her class. Having won the Governor General's medal, she entered Acadia University on scholarship. She loved science and had a passion for cooking, attaining a B.Sc. in the department of Home Economics (now The School of Nutrition and Dietetics). While attending Acadia she met her future life partner, Joe Anderson, from Port Lorne.

NS. She turned down opportunities to pursue a career as a hospital nutritionist in order to marry and build a family life, beginning in Port Radium NWT, 25 miles south of the arctic circle. They had their first child, Bruce, in 1958, in the of the midnight sun', moving to Ottawa the same year. After Angela and Sean were born, the family moved once again to the North, this time to Uranium City, Saskatchewan, on the North shore Lake Athabasca. They moved to Fort McMurray.

Alberta in 1970, and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1978. Along with being a tremendous cook, Gwen was an avid curler and Bridge player. She and Joe travelled the world, seeing 60 countries and all but one continent. travelling with no fixed itinerary, they enjoyed mixing with the locals and with other free-spirited travellers of her children's generation and younger. She felt fortunate to have seen so much of 1 the world and to have retired in Vancouver's West End, her favorite place of all.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. Gwen was predeceased by a grandson, Josh. She is survived by her mother, Elva Matthews of Miramichi, NB; her husband, Joe Anderson of Vancouver: sons, Bruce (Lisa) of Fort McMurray, AB and Sean (Karen) of Toronto, ON; her daughter, Angela Konrad (Wilf) of Langley, BC; her brother, Robert Matthews (Cheryl) of Calgary, AB; and grandchildren, Jamie, Delaney, Franklyn, Joseph and Isaac. funeral was held October 3rd in Langley, BC. Gwen's ashes will be interred in Fundy View Cemetery, Port Lorne, NS in the summer of 2010.

Mum was born May 25, 1925 in Moose Jaw, SK. She grew up on the family farm in Pangman, SK. At eighteen she went to school for a teacher's certificate and taught for a few years around Saskatchewan.

In the early fifties she then went to the University of Saskatchewan where she completed a Nursing degree to graduate as a RN. She worked at Saskatoon City Hospital, University Hospital and with the Victorian Order of nurses in Moose Jaw. In the early seventies Pauline moved with her family to Detroit area and worked as a nurse with the Chrysler Corporation. In 1981 she moved back to Saskatchewan to continue her career as a nurse at the Regional Psychiatric Center (Prairies) in Saskatoon until her retirement in 1994. She is survived by her children, Carmel, Kelly and Michael and we remember our late older brother, John "J.D.".

She i is also survived by her sister, Marguerite and her niece and nephews, Jerry, (Bob), Bert, Kathy and Reg. And finally not a blood relation, R. Dawg. As per Mater's request, there will be no funeral or religious services. Mum really wanted a Wake.

There will be a Wake in her memory at Amigos' Cantina and Restaurant, 632 10th St. East, Saskatoon, for friends, co-workers, fellow retirees and friends of the family. The Wake will take place November 27, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. Please try to behave yourselves.
