W. Bullevment. Surviving are one daughter, Mr, li. M. (Evelyn I Mac-Donald ot New York, and one son, Jack Hassard of Brampton, Ontario There are four grandchildren. Mr Hansard was formerly Miss Mary Stewart, a school teacher and early resident of Biggar, Sask. After spending a number of years at Big-gar, Mr. and Mrs, Hassard owned and operated a hotel at East End, Sask. From there they moved to Calgary where they resided until Mr. Hansard's passing, in 1953. Mrs. Hassard has since been living In Bramp ton. Ontario where her son Jack is located. Burial will be made In the family plot In Woodlawn Cemetery 7-19-c MacSORLEY THE DEATH OF JOHN Finley MacSoriey. age 75 years of 720 Avenue M. soutn, sasxatoon occurred in a local hospital on July 17. Charles of Burnaby B.C. and Otho of Environ. Mr. MacSoriey came to Environ to farm in 1903. He farmed there until retiring to Saskatoon in 1952. The funeral service will be held on Saturday July 19 at 2 p.m. from McKague's Funeral Home, conducted by Rev, Murdo N'.coison, Surviving are his widow, Mr. Margaret Hopkins; two daughters, Mrs. C. (Jennie Mayi Wheeler of Cheviot and Mr. A. (Marguerite) Graham of (Saskatoon; two sons. We of Saskatoon and Fred of Rural Route No. 6. Saskatoon. There are 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Spence of Calgary and Mrs. Alice Seism of Portland, Oregon and one brother. Newton Hopkins of Yellowgrass Sask., survive, Mr, Hopkins was born in Ontario and came west to Saskatchewan in 19f4. He farmed in the Patience Lake district, east of Saskatoon and "Hopkins Corner" tne junction of highways No, 3 and No. 27 was named after him.
