Stimmell-Sorensen Nuptials Held In Falconer, New York The Pint United Methodist Church in Falconer, New York was the setting for the wedding of Sharon Sorensen and Daniel M. Stimmell on Saturday, May 22, 1971. The Rev. Barnard F. Howe performed the double ring ceremony at 2 p.m.

before an altar decorated with candelabra, palms and arrangements of pink and white carnations. Organ music was provided by Miss Alice J. Hoffman. Mrs. Lewis Yauchzy was the vocal soloist.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dickinson of Falconer, FT Y. and Curtis L. Sorensen of Warren, Pa.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Stimmel of 1530 Pleasant drive, Warren. Given in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in a A-silhouette gown of white sheer organdy over bridal taffeta. The gown was fashioned with a molded empire bodice with pearl smocking, ruffled Victorian collar, long bishop sleeves and a chapel length train.

Seed pearl roping edged the illusion veil which swept from a bandeau of looped organza bows and pearl edged petals adorned with pearl, crystal and petite florets. She carried a white Bible crested with white roses. Miss Susan L. Dickinson, step-sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. She was attired in an A-line gown of printed orchid sheer over taffeta and matching Venice lace.

Her headpiece was a looped organza bow with a butterfly veil and she carried a single rose. Dressed in pastel gowns styled the same as the honor were the bridesmaids, Miss Susan Sorensen, sister of the bride, in pink; Peggy SUmmell, sister of the bridegroom, in ballet blue; Beverly Heath in aqua; and Martha Steere in maize. James Samuelson served as best man and Robert Sorensen, brother of the bride, Fred Stimmell, cousin of the bridegroom, Gary Yeagle and Tim Gleason were ushers. The mother of the bride wore a powder blue dress with matching accessories and a pink and white corsage of carnations and roses, while the mother chose a Marriage Announced Deborah Louise Briggs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Willard Briggs of 24 Jefferson avenue, and John Edward Bednez, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bednez of 106 Falconer street, Warren, were married in a private ceremony at the Holy Redeemer Church on Saturday. July 17, 1971. The Rev.

Fr. Joseph Seyboldt officiated. A small reception followed at the home of the parents. A pre-nuptial bridal shower was given by the bridesmaid, Miss Debra Hesch. Breakfast I Song Leader At Conference MR.

and Mrs. James Holmberg, great uncle and great aunt of the bride, served as Master and Mistress of Ceremonies. Aides were Mrs. Richard Zampogna, Mrs. Walter Lutz, Mrs.

Leroy Sorensen, Miss Pam Holmberg, Linda Holmberg, Julie Sorensen, Jill Zampogna and Miss Sandra Dickinson and Miss Patti Stimmell handled the guest book. For their wedding trip to Canada, the new Mrs. Stimmell wore a baby blue pantsuit with black patent accessories. The newlyweds are making their home at 709Vi East street, Warren. The bride is a 1970 graduate of Falconer Central High School and is presently employed by the New Process Co.

The bridegroom is a 1967 graduate of Warren Area High School and served for two years with the U.S. Army. He is presently employed by Crescent Furniture Warren. Pre-nuptial affairs were given by Mrs. Sandra pogna, Mrs.

Walter Lutz, Mrs. Oscar Holmberg, Miss Linda Holmberg; Mrs. Leroy Sorensen; and Mrs. Jean Jursted, Mrs. Shirley Brown, Mrs.

Cindy Davis and Miss Margaret Brodine. Engagement Announced REV. AND MRS. LEE EVERLETH The front gates of the Murray and Leonie Guggenheim Memorial Library at Monmouth Cbllege in New Jersey are known as Gates Hiat Never The 36th Annual Bible Conference of the United Methodist Church will be held from July 26 to August 1 at Camp Findley, Findley Lake, N. Y.

Among the several speakers and musical leaders who will attend the conference are the Rev. and Mrs. Lee Everleth. Rev. Everleth is a full time evangelistic musical leader and his wife, Judith, accompanies him at either the piano or organ.

The Everleths will be in charge of a Song Service on Saturday evening, July 31, at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Everleth will be the song leader for the daily Bible Hour at 9 a and the Evening Service at 7:45 p.m. in the Tabernacle. The Warren Art League will hold a short business meeting tonight (Thursday) at the Center, after which work will be done on baskets.

It is hoped that there will be a good attendance as there is much work to be done in preparation for the Sidewalk Show early in September. If possible, members should bring their own brushes and paints. Mary DeMott, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Joseph DeMott, and a Science teacher at Beaty Junior High School, is presently studying Comparative Education for a thice week period in Europe. The program, under the direction Kdinboro State College, includes study in England.
